Chose for our monthly lunch group, e solo il Pranzo. Chose it for the recommendations on patio dining. Was not disappointed! Best patio we have visited so far. Our lunch was delicious. Our drinks were divine. Our view was terrific. Our service....not so much.
The Sunday champagne brunch is great. The service is so friendly and efficient.Live music was a nice touch. Alina our server was wonderful. This is the very best place for Sunday brunch.
not our first rodeo there. we live in the West valley. i made this reservation for an off week Sunday brunch since easter was really busy. the hostess seated us quickly but she literally directed my wife and i and our 3 girls to the only table without an umbrella. after asking for help with that she seemed to consult with someone and left. i had to ask a server to help but a customer next to us thoight about helping us faster. overall was an average visit but not a blow out memorable experience. Sunday brunch was $250 (incl tip) for 2 adults + 3 kids under 12.
Fabulous as usual ... our go to place for a Sunday brunch experience !!
Super long wait for entrees.... over an hour! And no one returned to fill water glasses till we were finished eating.
I told waitress I didn’t like raspberry sherbet with key lime coconut pie and she offered to serve it on the side so my husband could eat it but neglected to omit the raspberry gel decoration all around the plate for the pie! Not too smart a waitress! She didn’t check back either.
All around poor service.
The food was so good that we ate nearly every meal at Rita’s she staying at the resort. We tried a lot of dinner entrees and ate breakfast there daily. Everything was delicious and the service was great.
Julio was a tremendous server. The food was wonderful, so fresh and tasty.
The non stop champagne was great.
This is the very best Sunday brunch in Scottsdale.
Outstanding brunch. Will come every visit to Scottsdale
Great experience fir adults and children
We have bee to Rita’s Kitchen several times mainly for the atmosphere for dinner and music. Food is average. Last night we had very poor service and that was a bit unusual.
Five of us had lunch together. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere delightful. The gardens around the area were just gorgeous. Definitely want to go back!
Food was just ok, the out door seating was wonderful , the music and weather was great. The service was ok
Service was rather too slow, but atmosphere was good.
We had the most wonderful Easter Brunch on Sunday. The food was outstanding and the service and location were lovely. It was pricey, but by far the best holiday brunch we've ever enjoyed.
There were people tearing down the stage while everyone was dining until 7 pm?? The food was just ok. The service the last 3 times we came for dinner was not the best. Our dirty dishes weren’t removed and so on.
The management appears unorganized this year. We live here in Paradise Valley. The fire wasn’t going either. I hope you are able to get the dining operating better soon. Thank you!
Wonderful outdoor patio with live music!!
This place is one of the most beautiful outdoor restaurants I have ever been too! We come back every year when we visit Scottsdale. The grounds are so well taken care of and the sunsets are gorgeous. Food is great. Servers were very friendly and accommodating!
Service was way too slow
Took 1 1/2 hours to get food
Great scenery, food and service.
Simply, one of the finest restaurants in the country. In more than 20 years we have always had great food and service in beautiful surroundings.
Only complaint, wines were overpriced. Jackie our server was great.
Always great service, ambiance and food. Beautiful surroundings no rush to end meal.
Several of us had the chop salad - expected much better....
Understaffed. Food had no flavor or seasoning. Pricey southwest, texmex with no usual accompaniments (eg, salsa and chips). Waitress stressed and slow to come to table. Complimentary home-made rolls and butter were very bland. Better offered fare at traditional Mexican/Texmex restaurants for a small percentage of the tab total here
Service was slow. 25 minutes to get a beverage. Hostess was confused as to where to seat us We stood there while she had to get more chairs and silverware. Not sure why we bothered to make a reservation. Have been going to Camelback Inn since 1969.
Great Sunday Buffet. Enjoyed being outside minus the birds and flys. food selection
was great. Will return.
We have been to Rita's for Brunch many times...and it has been very good...that's why we do return...Yesterday was an exception. After being seated and some time passed, had to get up and ask a bus boy to please bring us water and find a waiter...He did. The waiter did have an accident on a nearby table which caused delay. We ordered and the food was delivered in due time, but the follow up was absent re: more coffee etc. Also, ordered bacon to go with my waffle and it was not served and was finished with my meal before any further contact with the waiter. We were with a very special friend who frequently treats us so of course was very disappointed. Int really seems like you were understaffed as being the main reason for inattentive and crisp service. Will we return? Yes, but hope you will take my comments seriously so that a reoccurrence will not happen.
Great indoor and outdoor dining scene with music on weekends. Decent value particularly for a resort restaurant. Organic brined chicken w/ maple bacon reduction is outstanding. Drinks are expensive (as to be expected) but nicely prepared with fresh ingredients.
OpenTable showed no tables available at 6:00 or 7:00 so I made reservations at 5:45. We arrived on time and a by 6:00 we were almost alone in the restaurant. Even by 7:00 there were only a few tables filled. Why were they not taking reservations at those times? Next time I’ll call the restaurant directly and not use opentable.
Beautiful building and great patio area! Loved watching the waitress making the guacamole right at the table!
Really not very impressive and very poor value. Much better to take your dollars elsewhere
I ate so much my stomach almost exploded!
Rita's Kitchen at the Camelback Inn is a mild resuscitation of the old Navajo Room. Some years ago, the Marriott Corporation decided to update the Camelback Inn and turn it into a JW Marriott property. Since then they've been through at least three fine-dining restaurants, but re-did the all-day restaurant only once creating Rita's Kitchen. While it kept a few of the Navajo Room design elements, Rita's is another cold hotel all-day restaurant. We came for dinner so it was getting dark out. The ambient lighting in the dining room is so low (and filtered through some strange orange-ish globes) that a flashlight is a necessity to see the menu or one's food. Food was OK -- a nice variety properly prepared, but nothing fancy. Service was OK, well-trained, by lackadaisical waiter. Price more than I would expect from a middle-of-the-class hotel restaurant. We'll likely not be back.
We used to love Rita’s Kitchen, but the last two times we have been there the service was deplorable. We waited two hours for our meal on February 21, because the server “forgot to hit the send button”. She rarely returned to our table to fill water or check on us, but taking two hours for dinner to arrive is inexcusable. We will not be returning, there are too many outstanding restaurants in the area.
Overall an outstanding experience. I bring my mother once a year during her winter get away from the Midwest. The prime rib wasn't as good as it generally is, but still all in all outstanding.
Off their game. Food served lukewarm, order mixed up. Found bone in tortilla soup, carne asada in tacos barely warm, forgot my wife's salad, etc. We had guests and are were very
disappointed overall. Not consistent with prior visits.
We were at a table removed from most of the other guests but the staff provided interfering noise. The set up staff for the next day managed to noisily stack the entire room of clean plates & proceeded to bang down coffee cups at all tables preparing for the next morning breakfast crowd. All of this took 20-30 min & had a definite negative impact on our after meal conversation
Everything very good except they don’t use
Copper Mugs for their Moscow Mule. Drink gets too watery and not good after a very short time.
It was raining that night so our plans for the beautiful outdoor experience were not available. Our server and the entire wait staff made our indoor dining experience just as lovely. Thank you.
Service didn't know the menu very well, but friendly. Food fair, not someplace I would immediately say, let's go back there I really liked it.
