The entree salads are bit disappointing. The Rita's chop was mostly wilted iceberg. Ordered shrimp as extra protein and they were served as a side item on the plate, not on the salad . The portion of salad for $7 ( starter size) was about 1 cup.

The service was excellent and guacamole /salsa tree was fabulous. Great ambiance.

The acoustics were so bad that every dish being cleared or silver dropped was exemplified 10 fold. You could not have a quiet conversation over a leisurely (or not so leisurely brunch as it turned out.) Because of the acoustics and uncomfortable noise level we decided to have breakfast and get out of there as soon as possible, instead of enjoying a special Birthday Brunch as originally planned. My husband ordered Eggs Benedict and I opted for the Breakfast buffet which was actually quite nice. (we originally made a reservation for the full brunch but the atmosphere and noise level was too uncomfortable so we ordered breakfast instead)
I actually went to the buffet three times and and was eating my third round when his eggs finally arrived 35-40 minutes after he ordered. I was done so we refused that order so that we could leave and salvage our day.

Overall, the food is eh but the setting is great. I ordered the salmon and received literally four pieces of broccoli and the filet of salmon. The salmon was cooked medium well and was overall okay. My husband had the fajitas and said they were ok but didn't wow him. Overall, I'd recommend people go here for some drinks, live music, and setting but will warn them not to expect too much from the food.

Bad experience, it was 30 minutes before someone approached our table after we were seated. The Chicken fajitas as well as the Steak fajitas were dry and only warm once we finally received them. We sent the food back and asked for the Bill. There was also a party of 6 seated directly behind us as well as a party of 2 that was seated beside us that had experienced very similar situations. Very poor service and food.

Our waiter was either really new or just really slow. His manager had to jump in a few times to help. It wasn’t that busy so I’m really not sure what the issue was. Food was ok but unfortunately nothing I would be anxious to go back and experience

This was quite a surprise being that we are pretty picky Mexican food eaters and really really like hot new Mexican style food. We did not expect to be so pleased with not just the food but the management and staff. Had The enchiladas and fajitas which could not have been better. Kudos

Best Brunch
Wonderful selection of incredibly appealing dishes. Lots of vegetarian options and the crab cakes are amazing. Beautiful pastry tray is presented at the end of the meal. Locals should enjoy it now before the snowbirds come back and the price goes up. It’s a fantastic value right now.

We went for the weekend brunch. I had the brunch, my girlfriend had a frittata. She ordered it made with whole eggs instead of egg whites. It was served with egg whites to our dismay. Between five to ten minutes later our server appeared and she explained it wasn’t noted as whole eggs. The correct frittata was served after seven minutes.

The new interior is brighter which makes appear more open. The outdoor view of the garden and Mummy Mountain is great, however, the ambiance inside is sterile with a bullfighter picture on the wall and nothing else. It fails to live up to the moniker “In all the world, only one” that is seen upon entering the property. In fact, there is another one like it at the Cafe Monarch or across the street at Mountain Shadows...

The inside area was extremely loud so we could not even converse at our table without shouting. When we went outside to eat, it was very hot and sunny still in the early evening, so this was a poor choice for us. We will not return even though the food was very good.

It was very confusing when we arrived at Rita's Kitchen because they are in the middle of some renovations. We finally figured out that we had to check-in at the podium at the lounge since the main entrance at the restaurant was closed. They took us outside into an alternate entrance to an area of the restaurant that was still open during the renovations. Unfortunately, the ambiance of the restaurant was ruined due to the renovations and the open area seemed very stark. However, our server was great and the food was very good. We ordered two desserts, the churros and the chocolate oaxaca cookies with ice cream. Both were very good, but the chocolate oaxaca cookies were great! I am now going to try to make these at home because they were so good. I recommend the restaurant, but would probably wait to make sure the renovations are complete before making a trip there.

We came looking for a good Mexican meal and were greeted by a disinterested waitress. Did not expect this from a top notch resort especially since I've had good experiences at recently closed BLT steak restaurant.

Food is nothing special and the horrible service convinced us never to go back. Honestly we get better food and service at Chipotle!!

First time at the restaurant. Hostess was not really pleasant but that was the only real negative. our server was very nice, attentive, food came out slowly as we requested.
Calamari was excellent, the ceviche was more a soup then solid, not much in it for the price.
Enchilada's were very good. Special cocktail was excellent.

Rita’s Kitchen is my favorite Sunday Buffett Brunch. My wife and I were there for Mothers Day and enjoyed it so much we came back for Fathers Day. Awesome food. The waffle and omelette station is by far the best in the city both in taste and selections and Chief Julian very professional yet makes each guest feel special.

Wonderful Sunday Brunch
The brunch is always great, but being Father’s Day they even made it better. The selection is truly amazing and wonderful. Wonderful meat and seafood dishes as well as the most beautiful vegetables and fresh fruit. Gigi, our terrific server, even managed to accommodate my husbands craving for a frozen mango margarita (not on the menu but delicious). There is free flowing champagne and mimosas. The incredible thing is that this time of year it is only $45.00

Unfortunately half of our bill was for alcohol...as your drinks are VERY pricey. Had the beef fajitas and the meat was dry, the platter not sizzling...it was as tho they just put the ingredients together and threw them on the hot skillet. Two people ordered chicken fajitas. Same thing except one had lots of chicken and the other had very little. Very Disappointing.
