Rita's Kitchen at Camelback Inn, A J.W. Marriott Resort
I don't know what is better.. the delicious food, the elegant service, or the gorgeous surroundings. The flower gardens are showy and fragrant. Enjoy!
Was there Approx 1 Month ago a new 7.00 upcharge and increased food items by over 25%.One of the Top Brunches I have EVER HAD in my World Travels...Easily in one of my top five meals of my life.
Dont Miss this one !!!!
Best brunch I’ve ever had.
Great place for outdoor dining. Beautiful flowers abound.
Service is unobtrusive and pleasant.
We had the daily special which was delicious and reasonably priced.
We had family in from out of town and it’s a bit of a tradition. Fabulous as always!
Excellent service and such beautiful place to go. I will be there for Mother’s Day!! So excited!!
Great setting but spend your money better and go to the Mission or Barrio Queen - both are much more authentic that this overpriced Marriott venue.
Excellent service and beautiful background. The food was very disappointing though. It reminded me of dorm food, looks ok but just no taste. Won’t go back.
Gorgeous. Love everything about it.
We were staying at the camelback inn, and had checked in with the hostess about getting a table. Only to end up using this app to get us a table because it was quicker than what the hostess had told us the wait was.
The resort seemed understaffed from valet to the restaraunt. Took forever to get valet, check in for dinner was not smooth, our drink order took a long time to fulfill once seated for our reservation, we got our food to share but had no plates to eat off of for a while after we got the food, and then the valet didn’t have an electronic tipping method so we had to use their ATM and pay fees. Every valet I go uses Bravo as a tipping app. The experience just wasn’t worth it and it’s sad considering how much they’ve put into renovating the resort.
We really enjoy having dinner at Rita’s kitchen. The outdoor patio area is so inviting. We also thoroughly enjoyed the live music, not too loud, you could still visit and chat, but nice to sit back and relax to. The whole hotel was very busy that evening with a large event going on and yet our service was just perfect. We really had a nice meal and evening.
Service was great, need better options for kids.
Food was great, atmosphere outstanding. My favorite place to go in Arizona!!
I don't know if I want to recommend this place to non caucasian friends. It was highly recommended to us by our caucasian friends but we had a different experience. By the time the management tried resolving our problem, it was too late, we were just waiting for our server to pick up our payment. Although the management tried to make it a better experience for us before leaving by covering our drinks and appetizers, the damage was done and the bitter taste was left in our mouth like a bad after taste. Otherwise, we had a great server and good food.
We have taken several people there for lunch who were not aware of the beautiful gardens and atmosphere. We are Canadians who come down each year and this place has never disappointed
I have been to Rita's twice in the last month and was disappointed both times. Although the patio view gets a big 10; the food is mediocre. I have had both the beet and goat salad with chicken (barely any) added; as well as the veggie fajita platter. There was very little flavor to either and very pricey. My favorite thing is their Mule....it has a unique taste and if you get it during happy hour ($8), it's more reasonable than the $13/regular price. I will give Rita's perks on their fabulous servers who do a great job.
Loved our waitress she was a delight and the live music was a treat !
Always a great time & great food. Love sitting outside & listening to live music.
The patio dining experience was wonderful. Great view and reasonably priced food. The lunch special is a great value.
The music was not up to the normal standards of Rita’s. The guitarist/vocalist was very bad. Off key singing
For a 7pm outdoor reservation I was shocked to learn that although they were FULLY COMMITTED for outdoor dining, they had 4 functioning heaters! We had to move our dinner inside. Service was extremely lackluster. Dessert (cobbler) was cold.
We frequent this lovely establishment and have always enjoyed every minute. This past week must have been a very busy one because our service was only fair. We didn't see our waitress forever. Don't know if they were short staffed or what was the problem. Once she arrived back to our table, she was very pleasant but normally the service is much more attentive. A disappointment, but I understand it happens sometimes. Food is always excellent!! Atmosphere great as well!!
Ted the server was outstanding. Food was just OK. Usually it’s much better. But will still be back
The setting is good. Best to eat on the patio but the weather was not warm enough. The waiter was accommodating but several waiters attempted to leave food at our table that was intended for other customers, a little disconcerting. Overall it was a good experience.
Had a beautiful birthday dinner with my family. The food and atmosphere were excellent. Loved the music as well.
Very disappointed with the overall experience. My wife and I frequently dine out on the weekends and have been to Rita’s Kitchen over 10 times in the last year and have always had a good experience. This time the service was poor and inattentive. Not sure if they were under staffed on a Saturday. When receiving the bill there were multiple items on it that we did not order. The food was underwhelming. I had roasted chicken that was over cooked and dry. Accompanying the dish was supposed to be carrots and roasted potatoes which only had one small nickel sized carrot.
If you enjoy Grand Central Station you will love Rita’s and the Camelback resort
Bringing an out of town guest as I always do. Love the ambiance of Rita’s and the music. Not enough outdoor heaters is my only complaint.
Beautiful quaint resort, patio dining. We had excellent wine and very good food, and a wonderful waiter Jose. First sat us near kitchen, but moved us easily when we requested better table.
After game go to restaurant for us, our sons and grandsons! A very special place that has no need to shout about itself—and doesn’t!
It always a pleasure. Wonderful place to meet.
Lovely evening, with beautiful background live music. Love the selection of songs. Sat outside, just another reason why we love AZ. Service was great and the food delicious.
Their Sunday brunch is fabulous. The food is delicious and the selection is great.
We have visited Rita’s restaurant many times. Food is always fabulous and the wait staff is friendly and attentive!
As usual and awesome dining experience. Went with the whole family and we had a blast. Enchiladas were great, all the food and of course entertainment was great as well. Highly recommended.
Rita’s Kitchen offers beautiful surroundings for outdoor dining, stunning views and great entertainment. Our service was very good, and they still serve the one dish that always brings us back— the tableside guacamole and chips, which are excellent. Our meals were quite good, though our son felt that his fish tacos were undercooked.
Good food, location and service.
