Ristorante Ti Amo Ratings and Reviews
We have been coming to the Vail area for over 30 years and I don’t know how we missed this incredible restaurant. The service was great, the food wonderful, and a fantastic time was had by all. We are going back tomorrriw night and will make this place part of our schedule from here on out.
We keep coming back year after year while on our ski vacation and Ti Amo is always great. A varied menu, perfect preparation and presentation are their specialty. A friendly, casual atmosphere with a mix of local regulars and visitors fortunate to have discovered this restaurant.
The restaurant is a cozy place with a nice menu. I had the veal scallapini which was very good and the rest of my party had the spaghetti bolognese which was also tasty. It was a little loud in the restaurant with the tables so close together. The service was fine and the establishment couldn't have been nicer when we arrived. I would definitely dine here again when I'm in town.
Friendly staff, fantastic food, excellent service, eclectic and reasonably priced wine list. This was our third time to dine in this charming restaurant, and we have yet to find a dish that is anything less than amazing! Looking forward to our next visit in the spring.
I've always enjoyed coming to Ti Amo. So much so, that I brag about it to my mother who lives in another state. Multiple times while she's visited we've tried to score a coveted table at the restaurant and our opportunity finally came over the holidays. I was so excited that I invited some close family friends to join along. When I called to change the reservation something happened that was rather off-putting. The woman said she could only change my reservation if we promised to be done by 6:30. Of course I obliged, fearing another opportunity missed to take my mother there. And I didn't even think much of the comment at the time, but when I passed the information along to our family friends they were rather upset and declined to join! The more I thought about, factoring in the service, wait time and how quickly the food came out, how could I have promised to be out? And why should I? This is not a NYC hot spot or famed Vail or Beaver Creek restaurant, this is Ti Amo here. Yes, the food is fabulous and the service is always great, but why would you put a time limit on the experience you're offering? With half the group in tow we made our way to the restaurant and had a wonderful meal. At 6:30 I couldn't help but look around and see 8 open tables (yes, I counted). The restaurant missed out on revenue for four and personally put a ding in its reputation for service.
Loved our lunch here~it was a Christmas gift to my parents. The next day I was reading the Vail Daily, and you were offering a complimentary karafe of Chianti, and 2 soups or salads with the purchase of 2 entrees...this would have made a HUGE difference in our price (there were 4 of us)...and so, I know that I missed this by not finding the coupon soon enough (we were visiting for a few days, up from Denver), but it sure would have been nice to have been offered this. I know that would have come at expense to your restaurant, and that you are in business to make money, and the lunch was wonderful, but just left me a little disappointed after the fact. All in all, a nice time.
Have eaten here once before without any problems but this time there was a long hair in our bread basket and my salad bowl had dried food on the rim! Gross
I brought it to the server's attention and received new bread and a new salad. No apology or discount was given. I know this is a local favorite of my family and we will probably eat here again, but cautiously.
Dinner went well, multiple courses, the starter and soup were excellent. Main course - the lasagna special - was not that tasty. The frutti di mare was excellent, as always. Dessert was outstanding the lemoncello dessert was nicely offset by the nutella crepe.
Alltogether it was a great meal.
