our award-winning classic ladyfinger sponge cake soaked in espresso and rum, layered with a mascarpone mousse
Fresh Hand-Rolled. Fresh ravioli filled with lobster meat, a lobster bisque sauce, chunks of lobster meat
Great service and food. So cute.
Wonderful menu with a wide array of Italian cuisine.
Excellent food and service!
This is our second visit to this wonderful restaurant (the first was pre COVID) - my husband and I enjoyed the risotto (seafood for me and porcini for him). The service was attentive without being intrusive, the ambiance was inviting and we had a great experience. Would recommend to those who enjoy Italian food and like an intimate atmosphere :)
Went for dinner with my daughter after a day of college tours. We sat on the upstairs balcony and enjoyed the violin music. Food and service was excellent.
Great food, wonderful service all round, and the Tiramisu a must!
We loved Ristorante Piccolo! It was beautiful and the food was incredible. They had a violin player that came to each area of the restaurant, it was incredibly romantic!
Had a lovely dinner with my parents, it was just a bit loud. The veal is to die for, and, even though it’s just a small thing, the coffee was outstanding.
It was a great dinner- seated on outside balcony with a very small table and space, but beautiful evening and bustling on the street below.
Great food, wonderful service.
I would definitely recommend
The food is always great at Ristorante Piccolo. The portions are large, and I have never had an entree that I did not enjoy.
Made reservation through open table. They did not have reservation.
Wonderful service and excellent food. The balcony was a great place to sit for two hours and enjoy our anniversary dinner.
A very nice dinner! Food was delicious and our waiter was phenomenal.
The food was very tasty but it took for long. We waited for almost an hour to get served the food. Other than that it was very nice.
The food was spectacular. The service was on the slow side but to be fair they were really busy. We didn’t mind the wait or the pace though. Our server was fantastic. A great find and delicious dinner!
Great dining experience! Ask for Yuri.
It is a very nice restaurant, the food could be better but it has a good price/quality relation. Wine menu with good options.
Great food, cordial and timely service, friendly atmosphere. This was an excellent choice to catch up with old friends on a Saturday evening which was fully booked.
Rude host, bad service.
Loved my experience at Ristorante Picolo! It was my first time dining solo and the food and service were impeccable.
I when for my birthday, we spent 170 on dinner, my mom brought a cake and they tried to charge me 3 per person because we brought a cake???? Come on guys that is not good.
First time dining and I can’t say enough great things. Lobster ravioli was outstanding!!! Our server, Hadi, was attentive, helpful in suggestions and incredibly kind. Saul was a wonderful support team member and was working so hard to quickly fill our water glasses and removing plates. He was very attentive. Management was great as well. I would highly recommend this gem in Georgetown!!!
Food was amazing, loved the atmosphere!
Excellent food. Restaurant week menu was great. Intimate and quiet setting. Service was seamless.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Piccolo. We both started with a Caprese salad. My husband had the salmon and I had the chicken Parmesan which was topped with an arugula salad and accompanied by a bowl of great spicy pasta. For dessert we both had cannoli. My lunch was way too much and I brought home half of it. It was restaurant week and a great choice. Lovely restaurant with a lot of atmosphere.
What an amazing evening to kick off Restaurant Week. Ristorante Piccolo had the fabulous table for two by the front window that I had requested available for us. Both the Evening Manager and Frankie took very good care of us. The food (Sea Bass and Tuna) was exquisitely prepared and delicious. This is our favorite Georgetown restaurant, especially when seated on the balcony; 31st St. at times reminds us of a scene in Europe with lovely restaurants on both sides of the street and folks strolling past. Ambiance, delicious food, and fabulous service -- Piccolo has it all.
This restaurant is EVERYTHING. It has location, ambiance, delicious food, excellent staff, and more! Was lucky enough to snag a balcony table and enjoyed the view as well as the violinist. The food was excellent, the staff was knowledgeable, and it was a night to remember! Highly recommend making a trip here…It was my first time, but I will certainly be back!!
Food tasted bland. Wish it was seasoned better. Service was good though
Great food and ambiance!
Dining room was very loud, service was fair, but nothing special about this place. I would not recommend for a special occasion.
Great food! The servers are true professional servers, not the typical tattoo'd-20-something slackers that you usually get at a restaurant. This restaurant takes pride in their food and service.
The restaurant is adorable and has a great ambience. The host was very friendly and allowed us to change seats even after we had been seated.
We ended up sitting upstairs which was a bit warm but had better views. They have an adorable patio upstairs as well. A gentleman serenaded us with his violin which was at times, a little bit loud. Because of the proximity of the tables, the music was sometimes on top of us. We thought the food was good although I would have preferred them to use in-season tomatoes. The tomatoes that were on my plate were reminiscent of winter tomatoes, tasteless and pulpy. I was very surprised by this. Middle of the summer-(?)
The tortellini carbonara was really excellent. The best meal of the night. The bread that preceded the meal was also fabulous. Good to great experience. Good servers.
Food, wine, and service were outstanding. One of our favorite restaurants in D.C.
Best ravioli EVER!! Food was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!!
Dinner here last night was excellent. The venue was quaint and upscale inside, service was attentive and polished. Pasta dishes were very good
The food is always wonderful but the warm welcome by the staff was exceptional. The entire evening was perfect!!!
We had dinner reservations for Sunday evening and had am amazing dinner. The service was spectacular and the food perfect. We will definitely return when we visit DC again.
Food was great. Nice wine list. Classic Italian at a very affordable price. I would recommend it.
