Wonderful gem! From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Fessaha, we had a wonderful experience. The food is delicious and they made us feel comfortable. Can’t wait to go back
Real Nice place with good service. Not cheap but Nice Food in the Centre
Great food and ambiance, waiter was terrific, only a couple of minor staff mistakes stopped me from giving 5 stars for service as well.
They couldn’t wait for us to leave.
Didn’t even ask if we wanted a second course, brought the dessert menu’ instead.
Ambience romantic, nice environment but very commercial.
Next time I will ask them to eat for me as well.
I was over charged for wine. $85 for a bottle of Chanti. Never told how much I was being charged when I ordered a bottle of Chanti.
Excellent service. The appetizers and entree were perfectly cooked. The music was a nice addition. The noise level was a bit higher than I enjoy having dinner in.
Thank you Jorge. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us and look forward to seeing you soon :)
The staff were incredibly helpful. The held our reservation for us because we were a bit late and our server was so sweet and very funny. We had to be at The Kennedy Center shortly after arriving and our server got us our food and drinks with more than enough time for us to eat without rushing. Will definitely be back when we have more time.
Thanks for dining with us! We hope you had an amazing rest of your evening and look forward to having you dine with us again.
We were visiting Georgetown after seeing A Christmas Carol at Ford’s Theatre. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Fessaha was incredibly attentive the entire evening. Everything that we ordered arrived in a timely manner and was fantastic! I highly recommend the Fetticini Oceana and the stuffed mushroom ravioli. The tiramisu was also a great choice! And seriously - ask for Fessaha as your waiter! We had a blast!
My wife and I went with my parents the night before Thanksgiving. It never got more than half full, which was nice, but I chalk that up to Thanksgiving weekend. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and the service was very friendly. The menu is a bit more traditional and more southern Italian, which is exactly what we wanted. My wife is allergic to gluten, and she was pleased with their gluten free pasta and how accommodating they were in general. Overall we had a very nice time and will return.
Thank you Topher. We are happy to hear that you guys enjoyed your meals and dining with us!
Our first time at Ristorante Piccolo. We truly enjoyed it. The service was outstanding and we were given a nice quiet table. Our appetizers of Octopus and Caesar salad were very good. For dinner I had the Linguini and Clams and my husband had the Cioppino. Both again delicious. I'd highly recommend the restaurant.
We are happy to hear everything turned out so wonderful for you guys!
Good service and food, great ambience and decor
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at RP on Friday evening, with one very minor exception. The strolling violinist is a very nice touch, though we felt that he played a little too loud.
Thank you for your feedback Michael it is very important to us. We are glad you enjoyed dinner and hope to see you again soon!
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it could not have been more perfect! The violinist played happy birthday to him during our dessert. Very romantic and calm setting. Our waiter was fantastic! Definitely going back here
Great location and good food, but very cramped and loud.
Wonderful atmosphere and impeccable service!
This is a lovely and lively restaurant. The service was very attentive and our waiter gave great recommendations. Food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The tables are a bit tight and we had to fight to have conversation over the strolling violinist. Although we appreciated the idea, I don't thing the venue is conducive for that type of entertainment.
Thank you for accommodating gluten free, dairy free customers with your excellent pasta! Really looking forward to when you get gluten free bread—that would absolutely do it.
Literally my favorite place to come when I visit DC. I found this place over four years ago and I have been coming back every year since. Every time we go the experience and atmosphere is perfect. Tonight we had great service from Nabil. All the servers are incredible but he provided amazing service for our group. I literally make it a habit to book a reservation each year I come to DC and will continue to do so. You won’t regret a dinner here. I promise!
Great food, lovely restaurant and good service.
The food at this small gem was excellent. I had the risotto with butternut squash and ribs. The portions were very generous and the food so flavorful. The restaurant is cozy so you will be sitting close to other patrons, but if you are in Georgetown it is worth the visit.
A little crowded. Overall good.
We celebrate my wife's birthday every year at Piccolo. Why, when there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from in Washington, DC? Simply because the entire experience, from service, to ambiance, to price, and especially to food is excellent. Parking is right next door. We have always left with fond memories of the experience and will continue our tradition as long as we can.
Fabulous meal- just wish there were bigger portions! Service was fabulous.
Excellent food, amazing service!!!
I love the relaxed feel of this place. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The raviolis with the sage sauce were amazing!!! All the plates and the wine that Nabil recommended were incredible!!!
Thank you Nabil, we will definitely go back to Piccolo!
Wonderful Italian restaurant in Georgetown- pasta to die for! Excellent service and great overall dining experience.
Great food and very attentive service in a warm and friendly ambiance.
Enjoyable casual lunch. Would recommend.
Very good, well prepared and creative Italian cuisine. Loved the appetizers of vongole, melanzane bruschetta and meatballs. Fantastic pasta with salmon. Service was top notch and if you can snag one of the outdoor balcony tables, it is a great way to eat looking over the bustle of Georgetown
The food was disappointing. Especially for the price. The waiter by accident spilled significant quantity of red wine over the table...took time for a waiter to come and reset the table.
Took an hour to get our food as they were very busy.
Charming restaurant. Service is exceptional and food is delicious. Great menu.
Pasta was great, wine list was priced a bit high for the quality, but I guess that's to be expected in Georgetown! Great for a special occasion, but probably wouldn't be a regular stop.
This is a GREAT restaurant!!! The food, service and ambiance are first class. Our waiter recommended a couple of items that were delicious. A must go to when in D.C.
Enjoyed a wonderful meal at this very charming restaurant. The food was delicious, the wait staff could not have been more attentive and the ambiance was wonderful. I would definitely go back for another meal.
We had great service and the food was even better than we imagined. The tortellini carbonara was outstanding! Will definitely be back.
Been going here for 28 years. Tonight’s visit unfortunately was not that good. My wife’s filet (ordered well ) came out bleeding. I guess because she had cut into it they had to cook another. By the time it came out I was done w dinner (and I ate excruciatingly slow). So we basically ate in 2 shifts. Overall I woukd give this visit a 3 out of 10. But we will go back as it is not the norm. I felt the wife’s dinner should have been comped. We don’t drink so a glass of wine comped was not the answer.
Always a favorite when I am in DC--outstanding service, food and ambiance. Excellent violinist, and people who really care that you are taken care of at the highest possible level--if you are in DC and looking for a good Italian restaurant, this is it!
We love to go here on our "date night", it is intimate and romantic. The staff is great and the violinist adds a nice touch!
Impeccable service, wonderful menu, perfect cocktails, food as close to real Italian that I've had in DC.
This place is special. A very charming ambience (we ate out on the quaint veranda) with fabulous service. The food was well prepared and presented. Loved it all!
