Fabulous food and great service. Lovely Easter dinner.
Always great meal... The owner is always there if you need anything!!!
Great service and excellent food. Been going to this place for over 30 years. They treat us like family!
Ambience would be better if lighting was dimmer, in our opinion.
Server was quite good, food was outstanding.
We enjoyed the roaming musicians greatly!
Didn't have what I wanted. Replacement dish was nasty. Cramped room which was very loud.
Always a good experience!
The heat didn’t work, service was slow and food was okay. Skip the filet and stick to pasta.
Great food. Always enjoy our favorite restaurant even on special occasions! Umberto is a great host too. Great wine list.
The food menue had many great selections to chose from. Had the escargot for appetizer and it was well prepared & enjoyed. My wife had the crab stuffed shrimp & I had the steak Diane. We were very satisfied with our choices! Finished with deserts from a great selection. Our server was attentive throughout our dining experience. Considered the tab to be a value for every thing we had.
Very surprised . Outside of building did not reflect the nice atmosphere inside. Cozy, old fashioned Italian cuisine. Wonderful service, quiet and easy to talk with your companion. Food was very delicious and prices were reasonable.
Food was mediocre. Steaks were not cooked as ordered. Requested one medium steak came out well done. Table side steak Diane that was requested well done was medium rare. Had to have the medium rare steak taken back to the kitchen to be cooked more. Fish dish that was recommended was not up to par. Waitress did not check back often. Had to ask for water refills several times. Overall ambiance was nice but food not satisfactory.
Service great and the dining room is nice. Couldn’t get our table’s candle lit so we used phone flashlight to help read the menu.
Chateaubriand was tender but BONE DRY (cooked medium) . NOT.ONE.DROP of natural juice. Carved table side, but hacked into slices 1” thick. I like crispy vegetables but it is pretty bad when cauliflower and carrots have to be cut with a steak knife.
Doubt we will return.
We apologize you didn't enjoy your dinner. I personally waited on your table, and would have been more than happy to have the kitchen make you anything else from the menu or prepare another Chateaubriand. We hope you will return and give us a chance to make it up to you.
The waitress was limited in her ability to speak to the menu and appeared to be novice. She didn’t know what a decanter was and then took our bottle of wine off into the back to pour it. We were celebrating a birthday and another special occasion and she made no effort to help us celebrate. The food saved the experience. We asked to have the table side Ceaser salad and were told, “No”, with no explanation. The Rolata is incredible as was the shrimp appetizer. The veal was outstanding. I still really like this place, just need better edit staff.
Our experience was not very good. I would not recommend this restaurant. For an Italian restaurant, it was probably the worst lasagna I ever had. The portion was small and it looked like it came out of a pan and I got the last slice. The other couple had a steak which was supposed to be medium rare and was over cooked. The beer list is limited with no draft beer selections and no Italian beer available. Our selections on the menu were not available as well. This reminded me of a worn out older restaurant that needs a significant reboot. I will not be back.
The food and service were excellent. It was, however, very noisy due to the restaurant being so full. I would definitely go back again.
This was our first visit to Ristorante Piccirilli. Based upon the reviews, we decided to give it a try. We're glad we did. The interior was a pictured - very pleasant Italian. The food selection was plentiful and with very good options. Our party was two grandparents, two parents and two late teenagers. Everyone was very happy! Can you imagine a two hour dinner with teens that are happy?
Our server was very good. He prepared our caesar salads table side very well. What was also very good was the excellent Steak Diane he prepared. It was a melt-in-your-mouth and very tasty steak as you would hope it would be. The other's in our party had a variety of pasta or veal dishes and were very pleased as well.
If you like Malbec, they only had one choice, but it was very good. We had two bottles!
Great food! Great service! We will be back.
Food was Awesome! There were 8 in our group and all 8 of us had wonderful food!
Three couples had our Annual Holiday Dinner again this year. And Yes, all wanted to return to this place and have a redo of last year. Everyone was more than satisfied with the food, service, and ambiance of this nice restaurant. And I must say our Waiter "Frank" was marvelous. Not that we have had bad service here, but he made it a better dining experience for all.
Piccirilli's never disappoints! Great salad and pasta dishes!
We haven’t been to Piccirillis in a long time, so we went for date night!
The food was outstanding! The meat sauce is one of the best💕
Definitely be going back!
Living nearby, we frequent Piccirilli's often and have always been pleased with everything. This time not so much. The soups (stracciatella & minestrone ) were not much more than broth. The chicken cacciatore, while very good, was served on a flat plate so that the sauce would run off the sides of the plate. Our server seemed to disappear midway through our time there and we had to request water or drink refills from any restaurant employee who happened by our table. Nobody stopped by to ask how our meals were and when our server did reappear, it was only to deliver our bill & take our payment, all of which was done without a single thank you, comment or a smile. Maybe it was because it was sweetest day, but all in all, it was disappointing.
Food was excellent. Atmosphere was excellent. Waiter was "MEH" I would tell you his name, but he didn't introduce himself. He was nice enough, just not very dynamic, and we had to ask another waiter to have our water refilled, and had to ask for a steak knife. all in all, a god dining experience.
It was a good change of place. Old school Italian and well executed dishes. Good house wines and fantastic dessert. Very clean. Great value overall. We’ll be back.
Very relaxing and quiet. able to hear each other talk Food was very good. Owner came by and talked with us awhile Very friendly
The linguine with clam sauce (red or white) is always a favorite dish and it's great to have a caesars salad made tableside.
Two of my party of 8 sent their food back because of how it tasted. It was taken off the bill, but nobody came out and asked what the problem was, and no compensation was offered. Very disappointing. I made the reservation and felt I had to apologize for the experience. The complaints were made by two ladies who NEVER send food back, but this time they couldn't eat it.
Love their wild caught salmon. This place only serves the very best. Great location as well.
Dinner was delicious as usual. Brought new friends to experience Piccirilli's, as they'd heard raves about this restaurant from mutual friends whom we'd taken there previously. Owned by Italians from Abruzzo region of Italy, fabulous and authentic Italian meals.
Wonderful authentic Italian food; nice sized portions; friendly, prompt service and amazingly great value!
Food was very good and our server was great. I live near by and this is the 2nd time I’ve been here. My wife and decided to give it a try after we tried it 15 years ago and did not like any of the food we had. They have made it all better. We will be going back.
We dined for our anniversary. The food was terrific. Homemade pasta and sauce. Great wine. Entrees were perfect size. Desserts also wonderful.
Food was excellent, service spectacular. Prices reasonable for the meals we ordered. Highly recommend!
It was delicious!!
Food was excellent. Portions a little small for the price.
This is a gourmet Italian restaurant! Went here based upon a recommendation and am glad. Most of the review parameters are based upon WHAT DAY and TIME OF DAY of the visit.; as such, visiting on a Tuesday in the OFF SEASON really makes a big difference only in the AMBIANCE criteria. A reviewing website for tourists rated this establishment as #27 out of 160 restaurants in the area; and it met my expectations as being one of the better eateries I have
been to in a long time. I DO recommend a visit: you wont be disappointed. My menu pick was the Chef's recommendation: Steak Diane (cooked table side) --> AWESOME dinner! Four in party ordered dessert (everyone ordered different) ALL were absolutely delicious. Like I said: you wont be disappointed. The only thing keeping me from allowing that fifth star is that the tables are a bit too close together for my liking.... but that's me. GO! EAT! ENJOY!
All four of us loved our dinners, but the hit of the night was the mascarpone cheesecake. Oh my goodness, the best cheesecake any of us have ever eaten.
Service was very slow. Quality of the food wasn’t anything special especially for the price. Overall experience was disappointing.
Have dined here twice now, never disappointing. Love it.
I had never been there before. It was better than I expected.
