At Ristorante Giorgia, we want all of our customers to experience an authentic Italian dinner, cooked with the freshest of ingredients. After all, isn't that what Italian food is all about?
Allora, mangia bene, vivi bene, e buon appetito.
Chef and owner, Francesco Panucci
Great food and service.
Authentic Italian. All made from scratch. Our favorite restaurant.
Service is terrible and wait is far too long. Too bad because food is generally good.
Great service, great food and great value. Food has always been very consistent.
Superb delicious cuisine reasonably priced... always fresh to the palette!! Wonderful service 😊
Mediterranean salad was wonderful to share. I had the pasta with calimari which was tasty and had a little kick from hot peppers. My husband had a seafood pasta dish with chick pea sauce and was very satisfied.
Always good here.
Great food, nice atmosphere, good service, fair prices.
Wonderful consistently very good
Excellent. Not too expensive. The Sunday sauce and meatballs totally over the top. Cheesecake too!
Tables are too close together making it almost impossible for us to leave the dining room. The man behind me was large and he kept his chair out making it tight for me. On the way out I had to ask a woman to pull her chair in so I could get by. Again. Tables are too close together for comfortable dining
charming restaurant with very good food
a bit loud when filled to capacity, but overall, one of the best places to dine in rumson
Very disappointed. Had heard so many good things. Tried twice before to get a reservation so thought this place must be great. Finally got reservation through open table. Mentioned this was our sons 10th wedding anniversary. We arrived with six adults and two children as was stated in reservation. Tables were so packed together we could barely get into seats. Noise level was so high we could only speak to those next to us. We arrived at 6:30 and waited forever to even get bread and water. The waiter took our wine to open and forgot to bring it back til we finally asked for it. We asked to please bring something for children to eat or snack on. That never happened til our food finally arrived. The waiter never even acknowledged the anniversary in spite of my noting it as the reason for our being there; the champagne : card and gift. Dead giveaways. My dish was so salty I could not eat it and I noticed no one finished their dishes except the salmon which I’m told was delicious. This was doubly disappointing because our expectation were so high. Since we eat out five out of seven nights a week I realize one dish can easily go wrong. Or you can occasionally get a bad waiter. But to miss on so many levels......
Excellent. Our first time and we will be back. The house ravioli and veal/basil lasagne were superb.
I have been to Giorgia's many times and have never been disappointed. The menu is varied and the specials are "special". I had a dish of papardelle with shrimp and mushrooms in a lemon butter sauce that was outstanding. Also my appetizer of stuffed zucchini was as always a great choice. I am looking forward to returning to this restaurant.
Specials are always inventive and delicious!! Last night's asparagus ravioli we're outstanding
Food was very good. The server was wonderful. It just took too long to get the food. Most of the the other diners had their meals when we sat down. Very nice people.
Delicious as always! Never disappointed when we eat at Rist. Giorgia!
A neighborhood gem. Always go when we are in town
The recipes are Mama’s. So authentic
This restaurant lived up to its reputation among the Two River area...excellent food, fresh!
Service was outstanding, professional and attentive. Would recommend this highly and come back time and time again!
We go to Ristorante Giorgia at least once a week. We love the food, the staff and the atmosphere. You will not be disappointed. Another plus...it’s BYO!
We are never disappointed with this bring your own wine restaurant. The homemade cauliflower ravioli sampler is freshly made and so delicious. My husband enjoyed his juicy porkchop and I loved the lasagne. The layers were so thin with a nice meat sauce. Our server was friendly and so helpful when I was trying to decide which dinner to select. This continues to be a favorite restaurant of ours.
Food was authentic Italian and so many specials available for the evening. Our server was attentive and our wait between courses was clearly not her fault. Every seat in this tiny dining room was taken and the two servers were busy on the Monday night we were there. Kitchen was apparently backed up. The food was worth the wait and we will be back.
Food was very good, but a little pricey. The barramundi special was $38. I had the same dish at Nauvoo Grill for $24.
Service was professional and attentive.
I would recommend it and I will return, but I will ask the price of the specials, before ordering one.
Service was great. the food was delicious and served hot; the lasagna was homemade and delicious; the byo is an added feature to keep the tab down. excellent restaurant.
Great service— knowledgeable...Squash Blossoms appetizer great, and pappardelle with mushrooms, shrimp & Gorgonzola OUTSTANDING ‼️‼️
We consider ourselves foodies and Georgia did not disappoint!!!! Fantastically prepared food excellent special choices and an all around excellent experience!! Would refer over and over again. Cheers to the chef!!
The restaurant has been better in the past. The noise level makes the dining experience poor
A neighborhood gem. We try to go once a week when in town
love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Mussels, Wild Boar Ragu, Seafood entree, fabulous.
Very good menu good wait staff noisy
Awesome place. You need to try don't
Hesitate. Best in area. I am
Picky it is my Fav!!
Our go to neighbourhood restaurant. Consistently great with Mama's Homemade Recipes
Servers Amanda and Karam are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Food is top notch.
GLUTEN FREE PERSON ATE HERE AND WAS VERY HAPPY! First time here and I have to say it was a definite 5 star. Perfectly made meals to exceptional service. Family owned and operated. Named after THE Owner Frankie's Mom. Each meal is made to order. The ingredients are all very fresh. The smell coming from the kitchen is like being home on Sunday for dinner. I had salmon in a delicate tomato base, garlic, olive oil and I think a touch of wine and lemon. Served over spinach with roasted potatoes. The flavors of this dish is still lingering in my mind and I can't wait to go back. Generous portions for a hungry appetite. The rest of the family had pasta dishes which they said were beyond fabulous. It's not a big place so make a reservation and BYOB. A definite must try for some fabulous home cooking. I really don't understand some of the not so favorable reviews as this place is wonderful.
This restaurant is about 500 yards from my house. Every meal I've had there has been great and I really should get off my butt and become a regular. Everything on the menu appeals to me... compared to other restaurants where I'm at pains to find something I might enjoy. Finally, the BYOB aspect of it makes the meal very reasonable in price. The service is good - what's not to like?
We especially loved the calamari appetizer - spectacular!
Really bad service. Reservation for 7PM but didn’t get seated for 25 minutes even though two groups coming after us did. Then didn’t see our waiter for another 15. Then the waiter was off drinking wine while we were waiting for our check?! They did try to make it up with a complimentary “amuse Bouche” aka ravioli of day when we were seated but not enough to make amends for the service we received after we were finally seated.
