Ordered the market price lobster pasta dish. It was delicious but the portion size was extremely small. It was essentially 9 pieces of pasta and 6 pieces of lobster, all for $47. Not worth it in my opinion. We didn’t get bread when we initially sat down while other tables did, which was disappointing.

We had requested seating on the rooftop patio for lunch when we made reservations through the Open Table app. When we arrived, we were told that the rooftop didn't open till 4. We wish we had been told this in advance. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant and delicious lunch.

5 stars across the board. The primary hostess allowed us to delay being seated so that we could enjoy a rooftop drink before dinner. Another little hostess brought the energy and smiles, while our waiter provided the claims Italian restaurant experience and was the best. Local Bostonian feel and service throughout.

My server was very nice and attentive, but the food was very disappointing. I expected high quality Italian food and it was very bland with cheap ingredients (but not inexpensively priced). I would NEVER recommend.

Food is just okay. We ordered lasagna and canalloni. Both arrived in different states. The lasagna was hot as molten lava but drenched in tomato sauce but the layers had way too much cheese (just mozzarella, not ricotta). The canalloni was lukewarm and was very bland. Not terrible food but I was a bit disappointed. The service, however, was great. The servers were super attentive and friendly. We sat on their patio on a lovely spring day, it was quite nice.

I have been to this restaurant several times as I previously lived in the North End. My meal was absolutely horrific, and it was very basic, gnocchi and marinara sauce. Then gnocchi was hard and completely undercooked, and the marinara sauce was watered down. The meal was not even mixed, I will definitely not return.

The food wasn't as good as I remember it, I had the veal parm which was simply ok and my wife had the lobster pasta which was disappointing. The pasta and sauce were average, and the lobster was tough (over cooked??). May have been an off nite for the kitchen. The service (Roxanne) was exceptional. She was very attentive, and knew the menu.

I'm glad I chose well for a nice Valentine's Day dinner! My partner and I were seated in a quiet, upstairs location which was surprisingly empty for the holiday. Service was quick and attentive, and all the food we ordered did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed how much sausage was put on the Bombolotti al Forne. We had a really nice meal that didn't feel rushed at all, and our server was a pleasure to interact with. Would definitely consider coming back for more romantic dinners!

First of all I must say I recommend this restaurant to all my friends who head in to Boston and are looking for Italian! My kids love to sit outside before Red Sox games on beautiful days it’s always been my favorite place in the North End. This past Saturday Night I was thoroughly so disappointed and kind of flabbergasted at how bad it was. It started when we walked in the hostess was down right not personable or pleasant at all which was fabulous. I have to say our server and drinks were the only bright spots of our night! She was tall blonde, very attentive even though she was busy but she was great! Our espresso martinis were fabulous and perfectly made! The arancini balls that I usually love were barely warm and I was like ok they are busy I’ll see how dinner is. Well my chicken parm came out and tasted like it was microwaved it was chewy and the edges were so crunchy. My pasta was cold and sticky. My boyfriend did enjoy his carbonara so I’m glad about that but I was just so disappointed. I love this place but $170 dollars for dinner it’s needs to be good for both people. I’m sad I’ll have to try some where else our next trip in.

The food was excellent and the waiter was friendly and experienced. We were seated on time outside, and I was happy with just about everything. The spinach was too salty to eat but they replaced it salt free at no cost and fast! I added my own salt. The the only concern I had the waiters mask kept falling off. He seem to make a good faith effort to replace it. It was a wonderful experience. I had lasagna which was delicious, and my wife had the generous lobster with the signature pasta. My brother and his spouse also very happy! The mussels were completely amazing, the best ever. The waiter brought us extra bread so we all could soak up the butter garlic and wine sauce.
