Ristorante Fiore Ratings and Reviews
Fiore's is one of our favorite North End restaurants. We have eaten there by ourselves, with friends and we hosted my wife's 70th birthday there. The food is always good and interesting. On our most recent visit I had a delicious swordfish special. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. In the warm weather there are two pleasant outdoor dining oportunities, on a patio at street level and a on a deck on the second floor. The wait staff are pleasant, attentive and well informed about the food and the wine. Fiore' is always a good choice when dining in Boston's Nort End.
Love Fiore! One of the best restaurants in the North End for pasta. I ordered the pasta with clams. I had second thoughts after placing my order, but when it came and I tasted it - OMG soooo good. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce had a little lemon taste to it. My husband actually took it from me about half way through and gave me his sausage with broccoli rabe pasta which I also love. We with another couple who raved about their dinner, one of the specials. We will always go back to this wonderful restaurant.
The food and atmosphere at Fiore's was wonderful. It is a family favorite when relatives are visiting from out of town. I was however disappointed by the service we received on our most recent visit. A member of our party has a dietary restriction due to an illness and our waiter made the process of finding something for them to order quite challenging. The waiter appeared irritated when asked about the ingredients of different dishes and refused to make simple substitutions to accommodate their medical needs. While I love the food at Fiore's, I do not know if I would return following this treatment.
I always love my time at Ristorante Fiore. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is warm and solicitous. We ate outside on the upstairs patio, which was quite loud and crowded (but it was a Saturday night). Our table was a bit of a stretch for five people. Considering how big the place is, it's amazing how they make you feel like family members when you're there. It's my favorite Italian food in the city of Boston.
We had a great experience at Fiore! The service was great- very attentive server, the drinks and food were out quickly. We were seated on the rooftop which was casual and lively yet we were able to have conversations at our table without battling noise. The food was delicious, we all got one of the homemade pasta dishes, mine was with salmon, and they did not disappoint. The only areas to improve - the sangria was delicious but a bit overpriced and the bread was just average. Make a reservation early because there was a line out the door by the time we left!
The food was good. The service was good. The wine (bottled for Fiore by a vineyard associated with owner) was good and a good value for a full bottle. Nothing was outstanding but everything was fine.
This place is loud. Our seat was a booth on the second floor near the stairs, which meant folks often walked past us, but it was better than being at the other end of the room where tables were very close to each other and the sound would have made conversation very difficult.
My husband has been here on business and recommends the rooftop dining.
Curiously small toilet stalls. If you are not a petite person, I'd advise you to wait for the handicapped accessible stall.
Dined on a Sunday night at 7pm. Service was geat. the wait staff was very attentive. The food was excellent. We shared the spinach salad since it was huge. The cavatelli dish I had was delicious with homemade pasta and sausage. My wife's gnocchi was basic but delicious as well.
At best, average Italian food. The pomodoro sauce was watery, either they did not properly drain the pasta, or the sauce was not thickened properly. I had to siphon the excess liquid into a separate dish. Another dish the pasta was extremely al dente.
If you are used to basic Italian American food, (as opposed authentic Italian dishes), this place can work.
However, it is overpriced for the quality of food, even though they have table clothes on the tables
The food was phenomenal - the service was just bad. I really wish I could rate this place higher because the food we got (ravioli and chicken parmigiana) was excellent, but the server brought it way down. I was visiting Boston with my fiance and we chose Fiore based on the accessible menu and great location on Hanover Street. We were seated right away on arrival (had a reservation for 7:30) and it was a good 15 minutes before the server even came over to greet us. It was like he was the only server in the entire restaurant - the entire dinner we saw him rushing all over the place to about 15 different tables. Naturally, everything took way too long. Drinks were slow to be refilled, he only checked on us like once during the meal ("good?"...then ran off), and once the check was requested it took another 15 minutes for him to finally bring it to us. The whole meal I felt like we were bothering this guy for being there, which is not the feeling you want to get when spending $120 on dinner for two people. Really disappointed by that and hope the restaurant makes more of an effort in the future to treat their customers in a more friendly manner.
The Staff service and food was above expectations! Our server Shane was very helpful making suggestions for wine and our meals. We celebrated a special birthday and was never rushed, it was so wonderful to enjoy a family meal, just as if we were in our own home. The outside dining area was clean and very comfortable. Restaurant Fiore is in a easy to get to location, and well worth the trip!
Service was terrible. We waited forty five minutes for food to arrive only to find out that the waiter forgot our appetizer. Entrees were good but not great for the Northend. We wanted to eat on the roof deck but ended up the patio where the ambience was poor with roof that was leaking water in the rain storm.
When we arrived, we were given a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We were seated on the roof deck, which is a great space and has a rollout roof in the event of rain. It is separated from the bar by a discreet lattice work and decorated with beautiful string lighting. Our waiter, Matthew, was attentive and had great suggestions for meals and wine pairings. We tried the house-made Pinot Grigio, which was delicious. Our calamari was good and was clearly fresh caught. Both of our entrees were delicious and great portion sizes. I took mine home for a second meal. Overall a great experience and we will be back during our next trip to Boston.
