Ristorante Bonaroti Ratings and Reviews
It's harder than I imagined for two middle aged couples to find a place to enjoy a delicious meal *and* each other's company without shouting Or repeatedly saying "what?". Thank you, Bonaroti, for a lovely evening catching up with dear friends. Your food, service, martinis, and noise level were all superb.
Not the enjoyable evening we’ve come to expect from Bonaroti. . Even though we had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early we were not seated for over 15 minutes. Service was spotty at best and slow at worst throughout the 3 hour evening. The clueless couple with the screaming toddler two tables over did not help. the ambiance one bit. Who doesn’t feed a three year old until after 8:30pm and keeps them out until after 10pm? The food was wonderful as always but the staff was off their usual game. Maybe they didn’t enjoy being around a screaming (tired and hungry no doubt) toddler either.
I am a HUGE fan of Ristorante Bonaroti! The menu is outstanding, the dishes are authentic and always perfectly prepared. The management and staff are very friendly and accommodating yielding impeccable service that's always under the watchful eye of the restaurant's owner, Sergio. He's created an atmosphere that perfectly blends fine dining with the warm and cozy feel of a neighborhood restaurant. No matter the occasion--a date, dinner with friends & family, or an important business dinner, you're guaranteed to be impressed and vowing to return soon!
Always a top choice for a meal. You can get anything you can dream of here. Food is incredible and they go out of their way to accommodate anything. I am gluten free and Sergio the owner noticed I didn’t have bread and asked if I wanted some gluten free bread. They just make your meal a fine dining experience. Pastas to fish to veal to chicken and everything in between. The appetizers and small plates are incredible. If you want one of the best meals around the area this is the place to go.
This is our favorite local restaurant for special occasions. Normally we would give it an all five stars review. The food is excellent and the service is impeccable. Unfortunately, we were not quiet as impressed as usual with our experience on New Year's Eve. We were not aware in advance that there would be a limited menu offered for the holiday. Also, we dined early, and it wasn't as leisurely an experience as usual; I imagine because of the high volume of diners expected that day. We will continue to return time and time again for our special occasions and with guests, but we probably won't go on a major holiday in the future.
Have been to Ristorante Bonaroti quite a few times, never disspointed. Food is both excellant and creative.
Would be there more often, but I live in Northern New Jersey and travel to the DC area about 5 times yearly, and I am their every time, it is that good.
I loved the specials about 8 to pick from and the great fish choices & sauces are fantastic. The breads along with several items like oil, tomato’s and olive spreads were amazing. The service was first rate and I have always been amazed about the quality of every meal.
We’ve never been disappointed at Ristorante Bonaroti and this time was no exception. We had a party of 6 for dinner before taking in the holiday lights at Meadowlark Park in Vienna. As always we were welcomed by Sergio and escorted to our table. The pace was very relaxed, we had gotten settled with our drinks and then looked over the menu and listened to the numerous chef specials...many great choices. Our service was great (very warm and attentive, with excellent recommendations) , and the wine and food were excellent. Just a fantastic experience!
