Ristorante Bartolotta is one of our favorite restaurants. Wonderfully prepared food, served by a knowlegable and attentive staff. Tonight we celebrated our 40th anniversary there and had a truly memorable dining experience. They pulled out all the stops with truffles, a great wine selection followed by a Happy Anniversary plate of chocolates and expresso on the house!
Everything was perfect. The wait staff outstanding and the food amazing.
I am sorry to say that this Bartolotta restaurant was nothing to brag about. The food was not up to par as I thought it would be the soup was very watery ... and cold, the appetizer the plate must of been nuked in the microwave then served and was still cold?? My lamb meat was over cooked along with the other pieces of meat... the only thing that was OK was the pieces of sausage/sm pieces of potatoes... and the dessert was bad! I rather would of spent my money at either 5 O'Clock restaurant or Capitol grill and would of enjoyed my meal and drink! I feel bad that i told my bestfriend this place was highly recommended ... I will NEVER nor would I tell anyone to eat there. Bad choice for a Italian restaurant... Sad waste of $$$.
Top of their game! Been a fan for years & can honestly this was the best meal I have ever had with them. John, Patrick & Meghan were warm, professional & attentive, and Chef is running a top notch kitchen! Highly recommend
Patrick guided us with the perfect wine and 4 courses. Covid protocols were excellent and made us feel very safe.
This months regional tasting menu was delicious, we both ordered all different choices and every single one was excellent. We can't wait to come try the next region's tasting menu !

Great food, service, and atmosphere. They have appropriate restrictions for Covid without being over the top. Drinks were a bit overpriced, but the cocktails were very good.

Incredible meal!! We loved the pre fixe menu... between the two of us, we enjoyed 8 different things - all outstanding! Great spacing and barriers between other diners. So nice to be able to get back to one of our favorite places
A wonderful and special Valentine's meal! The chef's food choices were extremely creative. (Blueberries and risotto? It worked!) My wife and I will definitely be back.
The culinary tour of Italy is fantastic! The menu contains unique options that would never be on a regular menu.
We felt very “COVID-safe” while dining. They take your temperature at the door. Much fewer tables on the floor and glass partitions between tables. The servers will not take away or deliver food to your table unless you have your masks up. The food was great. The only small complaint I would have is that the table by the window (which I requested) leaked quite a bit and therefore it was somewhat chilly sitting there. I tried not to let it ruin our evening.
Our eating experience was outstanding. My friends love good food and this was the best place to go for their birthday celebrations. They were pleased!!
Food by Chef Juan was fabulous as always. Due to Covid Masking requirements, the service was not as seamless as in the past.

Very Covid safe social distancing and masking. Beautiful place, and the Italian regional course meals being offered are beyond amazing. I love a prix fixe menu, very European. The four-course meal scared me at first as I thought I can't eat all that, but the courses are portioned to be able to finish. I slowed down at the meat course but rallied at the dessert course. Enjoy the intimate feeling setting with a lover or a group of friends.
Always fantastic! Service is incredible and their tasting menu has been phenomenal. Tyrolean has by far been our favorite thus far!
In today's COVID mad world, Ristorante Bartolotta is a perfect place to have a great meal in a completely safe and friendly environment. The food is terrific, and the service excellent. It is a little expensive, as you would expect under the current circumstances, but well worth it.
This menu is outstanding. Never been to Italy...and now, cannot wait. Must try the Spatzle di Spinaci --- complete surprise. Simply outstanding. The Risotto al Mirtilli was my wife's favorite Primi on the Bartolotta Italian Tour. Both the Fagiano alla Crema Di Castagne and the Cariolo al Ginepro was excellent. Fantastic experience.

The food was excellent! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The COVID-19 policy is fantastic and my husband and I felt incredibly comfortable dining out. Due to COVID-19, the menu is 4-course regionally based and was great! This was preferable to the traditional a la carte menu.

Dining at a Bartolotta restaurant is always very special. The new menu is spectacular. It concentrates on different regions of Italy and Sicily. The food is exceptional and the presentation is outstanding. The wait staff are super attentive and are always available to get you what you need and do a great job of explaining the menu and the region where the food comes from. I would highly recommend dining at Ristorante Bartolotta.
It was great to be back at Ristorante after a long absence. We were there on a Sunday night and it was very quiet - only 4 couples there the entire time. It could be because the Packers had just played (and lost) and no one wanted to go out, or because of covid, or because it was Sunday night. I just hope that business will pick up for their sake.
We had a 4 course special menu. There were several options for each course (appetizer, primi, secondi, and dessert), so anyone could find something that would appeal to them. I had beef carpaccio, a portobello and ricotta dumpling in mushroom sauce, beef goulash, and pear and chocolate streudel. My companion had a duck breast and asparagus appetizer, I don't remember the next course, a venison filet, and tiramisu for dessert. Every course was nicely cooked and presented and, most importantly, very tasty. Ristorante has not lost its touch during the pandemic.
Customers must have temperature taken when they enter and then we had to put our masks on when interacting with the wait staff or moving around the restaurant. When eating a 4 course meal, there is a lot of interaction and, as a result, a lot of masking and unmasking. The meal was still worth it. Please support our local restaurants!

We had a world-class dinner. The venison entree was some of the best meat we’ve ever tasted. The service was great and there were no concerns about being too close to other tables.

Outstanding new menu, simply delightful tastes and love the ingenuity of the chef to pair all courses! Bon Apetite, a must for any foody to experience. Wait staff beyond attentive but classic to the entire restaurant group-
Great service and food. I am impressed with how the restaurant management and staff have been very innovative in their efforts to ensure the experience is as close to normal as possible during these unusual times.
Birthday and anniversary celebration
Some hits and some misses. The lava cake was overdone/dry. The Uovo in raviolo del “Maestro Valentino” was wonderful. The Grigliata mista di carne was like the initial comment (pork rib seened 'tired and dry". The lobster special was a bit on the overcooked side as well. A quality decanting of wine will also ensure the lees remain in the bottle and not carried over to the decanting vessel/glasses. Recommend with "reservations".
We were very pleased with all aspects of our dinner experience and especially impressed with the restaurant's Covid precautions - temperature test at the door, masks required when addressing the servers. Additionally, the food was memorable, absolutely fabulous !
