Nice food, attentive but not overbearing service... overpriced in my opinion.
Got talked into $100 truffles and they were definitely not worth it.
$20 per glass for a Tuscan blend also seemed high.
My Dad said when things start seeming overpriced, you are getting old. Hmmm.
One of my all time favorites and one of the best restaurants in the Milwaukee area!
Meal was fantastic and the staff we very attentive. Overall I would recommend everyone to make it a point to try this restaurant.
staff was great about making outdoors dining comfortable even when it started to drizzle
The goat although good, tasted like a beef pot roast.
They made my dad's 81st birthday celebration very safe and enjoyable. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. It was important that we felt comfortable eating outside (it was around 40 degrees) and we really did enjoy the surroundings.
food and service were fantastic. I really appreciate the safety precautions!
We love it. Everyone is nice and the foods omg outstanding.
it was ok - way overpriced. Some of the food was good and some was just ok - nothing outstanding.
When I was unable to get our usual Sanford's anniversary reservation on short notice, I felt lucky to get a reservation at Ristorante Bartolotta. My wife and I were seated at a table that should have actually embarrassed the management to offer. There was no light to see the menu, much less my beautiful wife on our anniversary, and my view was of an industrial cleaning device and the bathroom. The food tour of Sicily was not exactly their forte (though the duck was outstanding), which made me wish I married my wife a week later when the restaurant will be serving the cuisine of Rome. I enjoy the Bartolotta Restaurants and I understand why diners in Milwaukee take such pride in the level of excellence that one can usually count on there. I hope this was just a blip, though a very sizable one, and I wish it hadn't happened on my anniversary. Now I know to reserve Sanford's very early.
Our outdoor dining reminded us of years ago in New York. The food and service was amazing. Very Covid comfortable with masks and spacing.
Outdoor dining option worked well (for now).
We were happy to be able to visit one of our favorite restaurants again. Management did everything in their power to keep their patrons and staff safe. Although they had a limited menu, the food was outstanding as usual.
We enjoyed the Sicilian menu so much a couple weeks ago, that we decided to have it again, a few days before the new regional menu; glad we did. Highlights included the amberjack appetizer, ravioli first, mixed grill main (wow the lamb chop and pork rib), tiramisu and pistachio cream desserts. While we greatly miss the pre-pandemic staff, who understandably found new jobs during the shutdown, we are getting to know the new folks. Like their predecessors, their service is outstanding, and equally important make you feel welcome and at home.
What could be better? We are looking forward to the two remaining regional menus.
Our experience at Restorante Bartolotta was very good. They are especially careful in regard to Covid regulations going above and beyond. The service was great and food excellent. I don't think you can get a better inside restaurant experience. Also, their outdoor dining has heaters and diners can feel comfortable even in 40 degree weather.
Wait Staff and quality of food was outstanding. We dined outside on the patio and we’re very happy. One of the best meals we have ever had.
A little rushed because of limited seating but great otherwise
Bartolottas=YUM. Nothing more needs to be said-I've never had anything less than a wonderful meal at any of their establishments!
We really enjoyed our dinner. Everything we ordered tasted amazing! Paul Bartolotta expressed his gratitude as well.
Tour of Sicily was amazing and the risotto was the star of evening just amazing flavor and truly savored every bite. Looking forward to another tour of Italy soon !
Fabulous as always. We love the food variety of the regions presented. We look forward to future menus.
The food was super good and the wait staff were very knowledgable. I did feel rushed to order my food and eat it in the 90 minutes but overall it was a great experience.
We plan on returning.
Excellent food and service.
They have done an excellent job taking a relatively small space and making it COVID-compliant. Taking your mask on and off each time one of the wait staff approaches your table is a tad cumbersome, particularly since there are two separate staff handling drinks and food, but we understand the policy entirely.
The Sicilian menu was absolutely incredible; the pasta dishes were definitely the highlight of the meal. The milk-fed goat was also fantastic. Our first time here, and we will definitely be back.
This was our second dinner at RB since the reopening. Already we felt right at home, as a charming Italian lady, regrettably we forgot her name, welcomed us back. Also Emily, our main server, was perky, fun and provided top notch service. Being 25 year customers with well over 125 meals enjoyed, we have seen many employees move on, but fortunately the new ones provide the same great service and soon become our friends. Like the employees the food remains consistently outstanding with no exception this time. Highlights included swordfish carpaccio, with just a hint of fish in the excellent vinaigrette; Ragusa style ravioli with port ragu, one of the best dishes ever; Mediterranean seabass with tomatoes, lemon and capers; and frozen pistachio cream with chocolate sauce, new and unforgettable. While we missed the first regional dish, we’ve caught the next two and plan to experience the remaining six or is it five? Whatever, we will try them all.
We were scheduled to dine outdoors but weather didn’t permit. Dining indoors is a little scary with COVID but the staff was very good at distancing and wearing masks. The room was not crowded, intentionally.
The food was excellent. A Sicilian menu with many options to satisfy any appetite. My wife is gluten free and dairy free and the kitchen handled flawlessly. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Really, a wonderful experience in dining with wonderful company.
Celebrating two September birthdays, food was really delicious!
The Dinner was fabulous. My octopus risotto was delicious as was the goat. Hubby's shrimp was wonderful as was his braised duck leg. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Hope to get back for the Puglia dinner menu
We had another outstanding dinning experience at the Ristorante Bartolotta on Sunday, September 27th to celebrate my birthday with friends. The service, meal and atmosphere
were wonderful. The restaurant also has a excellent anti-coronavirus organization.
We will be going back to the restaurant in the future.
Went out for birthday with friends. I believe Bartolotta is trying to have a safe dining experience during Covid. I felt comfortable. The food was great per usual. Staff were professional and attentive
The Sicilian meal was fabulous. We highly recommend the four course option...splendid. It reminded us of our trip to Italy last year. Buon appetito!
Awesome experience! Very glad we were able to dine there.
Bartolotta really thought through the process of opening responsibly during this pandemic. Thank you for a wonderful and safe experience for both your patrons and your staff.
All things were excellent. Because of COVID the four course meal took 90 minutes. 2 hours would have been perfect . It was a lovely meal on a lovely evening. The outside dining is intimate. Bartolotta’s does everything possible to make it a safe experience. The food was AWESOME. The service was excellent. It was a great night.
Fantastic meal and excellent service! Would definitely return.
The waitstaff, Ann & Jordy (I believe), went above and beyond making sure our lunch was perfect. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the food, service, and peacefulness Ristorante Bartolotta has to offer. Make sure you enjoy the Tour of Sicília by the end of the week and then the next Italian tour begins which I’m sure will be absolutely amazing.
COVID precautions very safe
Outstanding experience. Wait staff, menu, quality of food were all outstanding. The safety measures for Covid that were taken were the best I have experienced. Guaranteed return visit.
Delicious Sicilian menu and wonderful service!
Excellent! A good getaway in the midst of a pandemic
