We dined our eveey night in our 4 night stay in Napa. This was our favorite restaurant. Food was very good & so was there service.
I was shocked for at the meals at other restaurants in Napa.
Service slow. Food wasn’t that flavorful.
Great food. Highly recommend the bread pudding - delicious!
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. Loved the atmosphere and the food. Had the mussels and they were super tasty. It was a very vibrant atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're wanting a quiet, super intimate dinner.
Over priced for what the food they serve. Realizing you are going to get ripped off in downtown Napa is no excuse. The food is really no better than Olive Garden nothing special but a good location.
We sat inside and the decor and lighting were so welcoming! The service was great! Zoe was our waitress and had a great smile the whole time! The oil and herb mixture which comes with the bread is wonderful! The pomegranate martini was great! The gnocchi was our main course and it was delish! I would definitely return!
Tasty pasta and steak, good server recommendations, friendly place!
Amazing as usual. Great food service seating and staff
We enjoyed the dinner but unfortunately we order a bottle of wine and literally we took one sip and the meal came...... way way to fast, if we knew it was made and ready to go we would have not bought an expensive bottle of wine we could not enjoy. Very rushed!
Good food, moderately priced, nice outdoor area for lunch.
This is one of my long time favorites in Napa. This restaurant never disappoints, great service, lovely ambiance and delicious food.
I had the fish special. The fish was a little over cooked. The entree came with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. I would have preferred more spinach and less potatoes.
The salad was so good! It was mixed greens and blue cheese and a tangy vinaigrette. The tiramisu was to die for! My husband had a pasta and pepper dish and he loved it. Had my fish been cooked a little less I’d probably give more stars.
Pefect italian resturant need
More sauce options instead of marinara only like chicken parm etc
Went in late for their last seating and had a wonderful, quiet meal outside on the patio. Food was great, did not feel rushed at all.
Food was stellar. I reccomend the Gniocci. Definitely get the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Staff was attentive and wonderful.
This was our fourth time here. On our first visit in 2014, the meal was incredible; we had fritto midtown, pasta bolognese, and carpaccio. This time I had the saffron pasta with mushrooms and shrimp; it was bland and needed salt. The dessert, a raspberry sorbet, was incredible. The service, as always, was very good. We will return, but not very soon.
We were drunk so can’t really remember except for the food
Food was good! Loved the service and will go back again!
The food was some of the best I have had and the staff gives great service.
Awesome as usual. Wife’s favorite spot in Napa
We love this Restaurant & drive out of our way to stop for dinner. Amazing food & great cocktails.
Allegria was so good we visited it twice in one week! The veal was the most tender and the calamari crisp. We tried 3 pastas and all were excellent. Save room for the bread pudding.
Beautiful space, try to sit on the balcony area, you can appreciate the view below ... we really enjoyed it!
Horrible: bad food, rushed service, hot wine (in Napa!), skip this one
Great location and ambience. Best dessert ever!! Blackberry cabernet sorbet.
Good somewhat creative Italian cuisine in a nicely redone bank setting. Good wine list.
I'm not sure. We had reservations. We showed up early. They said they would call us when a table became available. We told them we would sit in the bar, two feet away until that time. It was the Fourth of July and the patrons we just there to wait for the fireworks much later. Therefore the reservations were not being honored appropriately. After 50 minutes we ate at our seats, squished, in the bar, next to the t.v. This was my daughter's 21st. Birthday. Which is why we made this reservation in the first place. Unfortunate.
I’ve been going to Allegria for a long time and this was the worst experience both in service and food. My pasta was room temp when it arrived. Neither of my dining companions were all that happy with their rigatoni. We had to flag down a waitress to get Parmesan cheese which finally showed up after we had given up on it. All in all not a great experience.
We booked this restaurant based mainly on positive Open Table reviews, since it was our first time staying in the city of Napa and we sought a place we could walk to. It was the day before July 4 and the restaurant was crowded and lively. It's a remodeled bank building with two stories and outdoor seating. We were downstairs near the bar - service was attentive but not overly so. We wanted a true Italian dinner and that's what we got, starting with a portobello mushroom on polenta. My pomodoro was deliciously garlicky and paired well with a Sangiovese. My companion and I were both impressed with the food and the experience.
Wonderful food. Great wine list. Fun and attentive staff. Loved it. Will definitely eat here again.
I have eaten here many times and every time the service and food have been outstanding. I recommend this place to many friends and they all tell me how much they enjoyed eating there.
Very, very noisy! Food was good; service was fine.
The bar couldn't get my cocktail right and when I settled for an ordinary mixed drink, there was so much ice in it, it was hardly worthwhile. My wife wasn't sure she wanted a 2nd drink but was never asked again about having one. We sat outside on a warm afternoon. The waitress was okay and the manager seemed to be around but didn't check on us after my drink episode. My entree was delicious. The steak satay appetizer was tasty and the meat was tender.
Great meal and the waiter was awesome!
Birthday celebration made even more special with this great dining experience.
We live in Napa. We've eaten at Allegria probably 6 times or more, and have brought out of town guests. They food and service is always great. I had a Filet Mignon and it was perfect.
We enjoyed our lunch at Bistro Allegria. We all enjoy Italian food and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was very pleasant and the wait staff was professional and courteous. We will return on our next trip to Napa.
wonderful food and service! will be back again and again
The food was exceptional, service was great and very nice place for dinner. Highly recommend, noise level is a bit high but everything else makes up for that. It was our anniversary and we were given glass of champagne as a nice bonus
