Horrible service, great food.
We had an excellent dinner. At about 8:30pm the bar area was packed, the dance floor was hopping and the band was great.
It was a great night.
Great sushi rolls and tempura artichokes.
The food was OK, not great. There was a very long delay from salad to entree and the place was not even half full. While the food was tasty, 2 of the 4 were cold, the other two were OK. The noise level was good until a live band began to play around 9PM. I get it , but while they tried to use some noise damping techniques, it really did not work. We went during restaurant week to try it out, so the cost was OK, but I would have rated this lower for value of we paid full price.
If you want to sit back and relax Ristegio's is a thumbs up. The food was visually appealing and scrumptious. I helped myself to a dish off of the restaurant week specials and I was not disappointed. The service was on the money.
Went for restaurant week great choices and great prices
Nice restaurant with good food and great service. Very good restaurant week menu.
Wonderful Experience!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Great energy on the dance floor after dinner. We will be back!!
This is our second visit to Ristegios, and it didn’t disappoint. Very good food and excellent service. We will be back
Mother in laws birthday everything was great
Easter Brunch was great.
I would recommend only for drinks, apps and entertainment. This was my fourth and last time to dine here. Sushi rolls, flat breads and other various apps only...Drinks are ok and pricey but expected. Entertainment is always a plus and the music selection has always been great.
Two people in the party had the rib eye steak special...the steak was less then a half inch thick, a cut usually used to accompany eggs at a better breakfast spot and even smaller then one you would expect to get with an egg dish. Not to mention overly filled with fat, though it is considered a fatty piece of meat to begin with. Very disappointing for two grown men who expected a STEAK. Especially one off the special menu. I had a sushi roll and a salad, that was fine and the fourth dinner had a pork chop, which looked like the way to go. Desert was sub par, the off premise made cheesecake would have been better presented if homemade and not as perfectly round and garnished. I have such issues with desert being made off location instead of less options but home made...Sat. night the service was very good but I was there on Thursday night and sat in the bar area (high top) and had the worst service I have had in a long time anywhere. One bartender seemed genuine and accomodating (Tom) . I decided to give this place another shot on saturday for an expensive dinner that could have saved us a bundle if we ate at a Diner and went later for drinks and dancing. I hate diners...Apps only for this place and I would limit my selections off that menu as well...Sorry. Lots of fun though just not a food choice for me...
Great. As always
Overpriced and stuffed chicken breast was dry as can be. It had all the look of a fancy place, but the food prices are wayyyy high, the service was slow, and the bill compared to food and overall experience did not add up. Will not return.
Thursday night Ladies night was buy two signature sushi rolls get one free. Great deal, fresh sushi. They even had a band. Their sushi chef accommodated us with a new appetizer he was testing for the menu. These guys just know how to do everything right. Will be coming back again soon.
Great place Great food, Enjoyed our evening there very much.
The food and the service was top quality. My friends and I had a great time. I just wish you didn't have to valet your car - that's a little annoying.
The food here is always on point. You won’t find better ambiance anywhere in the Patchogue-Medford area. Pricing is very fair. Excellent Sushi - I recommend any specialty roll. The Sushi Chef is an artist. Service was top notch and out waiter Jean was most accommodating. They also have a really nice outdoor bar and eating area which wasn’t open yet but I can’t wait to try it out. I’ll definitely be coming back here.
Dined April 6th 2019:
The food is always very good. Unfortunately, the service is always poor. We drive a long distance for the venues and have to contain ourselves being disappointed in the service. Once seated it takes a long time to be asked for drinks. Once the drinks are ordered, expect a 15-20 minute wait. After that amount of time, it would be reasonable to order appetizers, although the waiter is nowhere to be seen. Once dinner is served, they come back within five minutes to ask how is everything and then disappear for 30. Check takes forever..... paying takes forever...etc etc.
Food was amazing and top of the line service!
Always love going here for food and music.
Food and service was excellent. Our waitress Shayna was great, fast always had a big smile on her face and kept our drinks full all night two thumbs up to her!
This is my second time there in the last two months, both times it took two hours for our main course to be served. A little over priced.
Food was delicious. A little too noisy. My one complaint is that when your server gets a dessert order and coffee, they should be brought out together. I had expresso and zeppoli. My coffee got ice cold waiting for the zappoli. Next time I’ll have to tell them I’ll wait for my coffee
Nice restaurant, seemed fairly new. They don't have a gluten free menu, and there is a very limited children's menu
Amazing food and amazing service, the sushi one of the best ones we never tried, good beef
Great food great service as always
Excellent atmosphere, the staff and service was excellent. The food was great and the patrons were friendly. The valet parking is an added plus. The entertainment was great, 20 Highview always makes for a fun evening.
My girlfriend Lisa and I met up with another couple here for sushi and steak. Out of this world! The food prepared perfectly. Kudos to the chef. Overall a very clean and classy place. We’ll be coming back soon.
Great food . Nice atmosphere . No kids in the whole place . Was a great date night .
I would try it again. Staff really friendly and attentive.
It has a nice ambience and the food was great. The band was great but we had no room to dance. It was very crowded. It was too hot by the dance floor and I had to leave because I couldn't breathe
We choose Ristegio’s because we always have a great meal and experience. Their Valentines Day offer was over priced and the meal was not up to Ristegio’s quality we’ve come to know. The shrimp cocktail was not fresh. For the entree the asparagus was undercooked. The lobster was oddly prepared with a cheese or some sort of sauce. Why do that to lobster? The filet seemed mass produced. Overall we were underwhelmed by the meal. The service was good, she was very kind however appeared stretched thin. Definitely not worth the value. Walking away from a $250+ meal for a couple you should feel wow’d. It fell woefully short.
Excellent Valentine's dinner would do it again in a heart beat was a very nice touch they did with the free picture
Food was amazing. Sushi was so fresh. Valentine’s Day menu was delicious but maybe coulda got a drink with the package.
We had an excellent experience here. Food was excellent and our waitress Shanyna I believe her name was, was terrific on top of everything even though the place was jam packed!
Our table was awful. They sat us for a quiet birthday dinner for two and promptly sat forty 60 -year-old women at the next table for a 60th birthday party. The whole room was open. There was no need to put us near them. The hostess was lovely and promptly found us a new table. The waiter was not pleasant. Food was just OK. There’s practically no sauce on the chicken marinara. We quickly ate our meal and left. We went outside to pick up our car from the valet parker and waited 25 minutes in the cold. They kept talking to each other saying that my car was missing. They lost my car. They finally found it and brought it to me and it smelled like smoke. I would never go back. It might be a fun place for 60-year-olds who want to go to the bar but I would avoid dinner and not valet park.
Not a fan
Ordered 2 filet mingion dinners. Meat was the size of a quarter and the wedge potato was French fries, had 2 drinks bill was $140.
