Great place would recommend to others. Will be back
Great everything EXCEPT no kids menu
Went with my husband and out of town friend. We liked the atmosphere but the service was very very slow. It took them a long time to bring everything from the wine to our appetizer to dinner. The food is a little pricey but good. Really disappointed in the service.
Food was excellent! Very nice waitress could have been slightly more attentive but overall great experience and would definitely go back!
Good service this night.Food just ok like always.Charging four star restaurant prices for a two-star restaurant imo.
Always a great experience, very friendly staff and food impresses always. And that "Wonderful " sushi roll with tender steak!!! Omg!!!
Food and service are great. Prices are too high. And they add on 3.9% for use of a charge card.
Excellent food, friendly service, good atmosphere.
Wedding anniversary, was nice and quiet, food was good, service was excellent
Been to Ristegios a few previous times , and had some minor issues. We decided to go and celebrate a birthday dinner, and everything was outstanding. Catherine was our server, and she was awesome. Next time we go back, will defiantly ask for her section again. She had a lot of tables to serve, while we were there, and watching her, she was spot on, with all of them It was an extremely relaxing evening, and we were not rushed to leave. Very impressed with the sushi roil I had as well as the Chaetae Brand.
Don't waste your money! Got the Chicken Parm and it was dry & lukewarm, pasta was hot. They made me a new one and still it sucked. That chicken was not cooked at Ristegios it was definitely made elsewhere and brought in. If it was made in house it would have been hot throughout. Wife got gnocchi which was a bit oily not the best. Total waste of money, $90 dinner for 2, and they charge you 3.9% extra for using a debit/credit card....it's such a nice place it's ashame the food sucks....never going back there!
The food was delicious and plentiful. Our server was friendly and professional. She was terrific.
Service was incredibly slow, multiple drink orders were delivered incorrectly. Food was mediocre at best. Noise level from the band was so loud that the 6 of us ate with barely any conversation. Might return in the future for cocktails at the bar, but never again for dinner.
My wedding anniversary
We went at a time when the restaurant was nearly empty. That being said, the food, service and ambiance were great.
Noisiest place I've eaten at other than citi field. Im not talking about the band.
Amazing seafood dishes and lovely atmosphere. Third time here and my family loves it. Although down side this time was slow service. we got the bill and had our payment ready and no one came out to take the card for half an hour.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed Ristegio’s. Their sushi is so fresh and delicious, and the seafood risotto was chock full of scallops, shrimp, and lobster. Every single thing we ordered was delicious!
Chicken park was as thick as a steak. Was dry Need new recipie for red sauce. Didn’t eat didn’t take home. Chicken park needs to be thin and able to cut with fork. This is 2nd time there. Will not go back.
Waitress wasn't very nice, had an attitude. Food wasn't worth the price.
Food was very good like usual but the band was just okay on Saturday May 15th. I noticed different bands are playing at your nightclub 20 High View is great but I miss some of the previous bands that played before Coronavirus. Keep up the good work!
Food was great. Drinks were good. Service was awesome
We went out for an early dinner but even at 6:30 this place was thumping. Music so loud my husband had to remove his hearing aid. We decided to share an appetizer and salad. The calamari was excellent, hot crispy outside and tender within. However the sauce tasted like it came out of a Ragu jar. The Martha Washington salad was definitely prepared hours before it was served to us. The cukes were opaque and greens wilted. For our entrees, we both had shellfish. My husband had the shellfish risotto and I had the shrimp and lump crab capellini dish. They do not skimp on ingredients. My husband's was filled with lobster crab and shrimp. Mine was excellent and I could only finish half. Couldn't try dessert unfortunately. Overall a good meal, but unable to keep a good conversation going. The live band started at 8 pm. I would recommend this place for late night apps and drinks after a show or when you're there just for the entertainment. Btw drinks were $18-20. A bit higher than in Naples- and Naples is expensive.
Loud music from party that ran late and food was tasteless - service was good but did not make up for the headache and stomach ache - never again :(
Disappointing Mother’s Day dinner. Was not aware it would be buffet only and regular menu was not offered. Buffet during a pandemic not a good idea. Food was not fresh and options were limited. Understaffed, slow service although our waitress did her best. Cocktails were off. Waitress told us the barback was behind the bar bec they didn’t have a bartender.
Just terrible. Went for a Mother's Day buffet. Not much of a choice, and what was there was not all that great. More importantly, I was totally disappointed by two things. First, that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to my bill. As stated, this was a buffet, so all the servers did was clear a few plates. They rarely asked if anything was needed, and I had to switch to drinking water at one point when I couldn't find anyone to get me a soda after 10 minutes. Finally, the fact that this place changes a service fee to use a credit card is absolutely ridiculous. I've never heard of a restaurant doing this, and will never be back to Restegio's now that I know they do.
We went to eat here for the 1st time. Front door hard to find and no parking have to go to lot next door at car dealership. Reservations were at 6:30 restaurant moderately full. Table was ready as we arrived in time and waitress was help full with chef recommendations. Band ,Panic, was setting up to play at 8 pm. Music was on overhead with band doing sound checks was a little annoying. They needed to turn off speaker music. Ordered drinks and now have to order apps and dinner all at once. Due to COVID-19 and them being busy our waitress said “ that’s how we have to do it now”. We ordered calamari and Kani salad for apps and 2 filet mignon dishes meduium,(only have asparagus no broccoli or alt veggie)and 3 sushi rolls. Kani salad app was good nice big portion size, light dressing. The the calamari had a light nice batter but, was chewy nothing spectacular. Meals came 2 filet mignons, no sushi , did not come out together. Waited 5-7 mins before sushi came out. They had to start eating steak. Sushi finally arrived and rolls were very good ember, ristegios and coconut rolls. Never saw waitress again. Not, how is everything? need another drink? Nothing!! Filets were not medium but, rare. At 730-7:45 band ,Panic, stated to play which was very nice to hear music out at dinner. But, it’s loud and now restaurant was packed. Finally a gentleman, other than our waitress, started to clear some glasses and plates, our waitress still missing. When she comes back into our area comes to table asks if we want to wrap up food. Gets to go containers and I get a chance Now to tell her that steaks were rare! Apologizes and said yes they are we can cook them more?!NOW when done with dinner! NO wrap up and have to flag her down for check. Band now playing nice, people dancing in seats ,8:30 pm packed. Get ck and 4% tacked on for using card not cash!WHAT! Well guess we will not be back, for the money, service and time NOT worth it!!!!
Love ristegio's and their music! Always come here for a nice nite out.
The restaurant is beautiful and the staff friendly and helpful.
The overall experience was good. Low noice. Service was good but had to wait very long for the check. The food was very very salty so you could not taste how delicious the meal was. They should offer some more healthy options for individuals on special health diet as it relates to high blood pressure and diabetes.
I was really disappointed. It took over 20 minutes just to get a menu and water. The seafood bisque was like water. The fried calamari was way too salty. The band was setting up right next to our table and they were arguing and cursing at each other. The pasta with seafood was dry and tasted rewarmed. We won’t be going back.
To see the amazing band Slingshot 🎶
Ristegio's is our special occasion place. We went for our anniversary. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We are never disappointed!
This was our 2nd time dining there within 3 days. We loved it so much that we brought friends back on our 2nd visit. It was LI Restaurant Week and the amount of courses and the variety clearly surpassed all the other restaurants I had investigated. A true winner in every respect. The staff and manager couldn’t have been nicer. The portions were huge so doggie bags were a must. We definitely will return
My husband & I, together with another couple went to Ristegios for Restaurant Week. The restaurant is beautiful, very clean & spacious. Our meals were delicious. The Restaurant Week menu was 4 courses for $35, and there were many more choices than other restaurants offer for Restaurant Week.
The location on Rt 112 in Medford between Sunrise Hwy & the LIE made Ristegios a convenient meeting spot. We live on the East End & our friend live in Dix Hills. We will definitely be back!
The service wasn’t bad, but my husband’s drinks were watered down with barely any liquor and this was double alcohol. My drink wasn’t what I ordered and it was disgusting. The lobster bisque soups were watered down and the appetizers weren’t cooked- raw dough and cold. The entree wasn’t bad, could of been better. Not worth the money :( new update- my husband and I got sick this morning from the food.
Food was very good, however I found the sauce on the angel hair spaghetti with shrimp, scallops, and crab to be a bit thin. The lobster bisque was watery. Tasted very good tho.
We went for restaurant week to try the food there but overall not impressed. The food was barely warm...the service was fair at best with 3 different people. ...the music was not relaxing or appropriate for a pleasant dining experience. We certainly will not be returning.
Great restaurant! Will be returning again soon! Everything was perfect!
My wife and I have never been to Restigios, but we went for Restaurant Week to try it out. That was a mistake.
My wife's filet mignon was over cooked. Mine was OK, but the mashed potatoes and vegetables were cold. The lobster bisque was a bit thin, but there was plenty of lobster meat in the soup. The seared tuna appetizer was good and nicely sauced and presented.
The speed with which the waiter returned with the replacement filet mignon makes me suspect that the meat had been partially pre-cooked and then seared for serving.
That suspicion is supported by the very cold plates under the seared tuna and the dessert.
There was a very long wait (more than 30 minutes!!) between finishing the appetizer and the arrival of the main course. Unacceptable when the dining room was quite empty.
Finally, imagine my surprise to discover that I was charged 3.8% for using a Visa credit card.
We are frequent diners ... at least once or twice weekly and have never been charged for using a credit card.
We were trying out a new restaurant. They failed.
