Best margaritas I've ever had. Order house version, rocks/salt.
The food was expensive for the portions, the hostess at the front was very rude, the music was extremely loud so you had to basically scream to talk to someone at your table.
Good food. You don’t get a lot for how expensive it is. We waited a long time for our food. Music was too loud. Food was really good
The young hostess was very rude. I asked for a table for 7 but thought maybe 5 and she said” is it 5 or 7(?)“ and made the table with a huge attitude. No reason for it. Service was slow but waitress was very nice.
It was meh
The server was great and food were good. The restaurant gave away our 7:15 reservation because my party of 5 arrived at 7:22. We sat at 7:45 at a cramped 4 top bar table
Excellent service and the food is everything you’d expect from a quality restaurant like Sushi Den.
I loved the food! Yum! Also I appreciated that you can order a mini margarita. Our server was so friendly and attentive. I’m so glad I went and look forward to going again sometime.
The margaritas are the best around town. Food is okay. Service was excellent.
It was amazing
The chili rellanos are terrific here. Sitting outside is a lot quieter on a night that the Pepsi Center is having an event.
Great place to meet up with friends. Great food, service, and drinks. A little high on the price for Mexican food but, it was all tasty. My wife and I met up with our friends after walking for Uptown which was an easy walk (down hill from Capital Hill). We all enjoyed our dinners. Service was great and not pushy to get us out for the next group of people.
Gran lugar para reunirse con amigos. Buena comida, servicio y bebidas.
It was a fun spot- a bit expensive for what it was...
we went during their happy hour - five people and the bill was under $100, and we were all quite full. Drinks included. The service was great - the food was awesome. Definitely recommend (especially for the happy hour!)
This is a great place to meet up with friends for great margs and delicious Mexican food. Try the atomica salsa with your chips!
Server gave us the check before we could order our last margs.
We. Come here 1 a moth at least as a group
Food was very average. Nothing special what so ever. Service was average. Drinks were good and atmosphere was good.
I would not recommend this to a friend. There are plenty of Mexican/Latin/Central American fares around Denver that are much tastier. Oh well! Live and learn!
Excellent spot, will definitely be back. Best chile relleno I’ve ever had. Steal burrito is excellent too.
Steak and shrimp fajitas were amazing! The patio with beautiful
Steak was well done when ordered medium. They just brought out a new steak and “Slid” it on my old plate.
We had a large ground and were handled well. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My husband always gets the steak burrito and loves it.
GREAT FOOD! AMAZING SERVICE! BEEN HERE BEFORE BUT SOOOO MUCH BETTER THIS TIME
Please please please keep a version of the queso verduras on the menu. The current special version with poblano rajas is killer.
Special green salsa is bright and wonderful!
Our server forgot to bring my salad and brought my second glass of wine so late that I almost canceled it. I had tacos that were very small but good. My wife had quesadillas that were excellent and my daughter had stake fajitas that were great. Would recommend and would go again but wouldn't get tacos and would hope for a better server.
Waitress never brought more chips. Sauce for the chicken burrito was watery (green chili). Palisade peach special sopapilla was nothing special. Added about 1/4 peach.
We’ve been very pleased with Rio Grande, but not this time.
Great happy hour! Varied menu. We had the taco specials! Lovely patio seating!
I love the Rio! It’s a staple for Colorado tex mex food and this is the first place I’ll recommend. They’re known for their margaritas which hit the spot. Service can be exceptional or mediocre - it really varies. Usually we have great service. This most recent time the server was below average, forgetful and seemed like we were an inconvenience by simply ordering. It was strange. But overall, I can recommend the Rio for filling tex mex food!
Went for a going away party for my friend. It was a Tuesday, so they were busy, which we assumed. And while our server was attentive getting our drinks, we rarely saw her after that. There were only two salads on the menu, and they are exactly the same with the exception of a change out of two ingredients. Both are a heaping bowl of iceberg, shredded carrots and a couple halved tomatoes. Then each either has tortilla strips or some nuts sprinkled on. The chips and guac were okay and drinks were fine. But when the bill came and it was over $150 for three of us, with only two drinks, it did not feel worth it.
Horrible service, food way too expensive. We ordered the 6 tacos for $20 and they barely had meat. The only good thing at this place are their margs but that's about it.
Went here for a bachelorette celebration. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks excellent as usual.
Awesome place!
Had not been in a few years, and everything has improved!!! Will be back!!!
I would def recommend this restaurant. The waiter was really good we had a quiet area
Food and drinks were great. Service was really slow, which was a bummer because we were HUNGRY! but all and all had a great experience.
Great place for Mexican food in Denver. It can get a little loud on the weekends. The food is excellent. This is one of my favorite places for Mexican food.
The host was not very friendly.
The food was a good value and solid texmex cuisine. The margaritas were VERY good and our server was fantastic: attentive but not in the way, professional but friendly, and generally on top of the situation even though the restaurant was busy.
We had a large group of 16. Reservation process was easy on Open Table, and they were ready for us early. Seating was very close together with different sized tables pushed together. Restaurant was not full ( Sunday afternoon), but our service was still slow. One go around each for drinks, food, then checks. No offer of drink refills or more chips, and no cleaning off of empty dishes until we were paying. Food was good, but merely adequate service will prevent me from returning when there are many other choices in downtown Denver.
Great service and food!
