   I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Everyone loved the various steak and roast menus, specially the lamb roast and beef ribs. Service was well-timed and friendly. Its expensive but couples night (promotion - valid on Wednesday) were reasonable. I would recommend to add couple of more side dishes along with a few more desert options.

   Our server was lovely super attentive. The food was outstanding and the Samba show was a lot of fun! We will definitely came back and recommend for all friends and family!

   Meat was chewy. Salad bar not that great. Side dishes were too old and dried... Service was not that good, 20 minutes to get some beer served. The girl serving the meat was great. Hygiene was not good. Not coming back definitely.

   We had a great time on our anniversary night, great variety in meats, excellent service and entertainment. We definitely would recommend others to visit Rio Brazilian Steakhouse!

   We've been to the downtown location and its always great this is the 1st time we tried coquitlam and we were really disappointed. We had a reservation and it took them a couple of.mins to prepare the table.. if we had a resrrvation already it shouldve been fixed prior to us coming.. but they actually tried their best to accommodate us in a fast way.. service is kinda slow.. it was only 2 or 3 servers going around aside from the people bringing the meat.. so to get a glass of water, we needed to wait. The biffet of sides smelled bad alreqdy specially the vegetables.. it felt like the veggies were there for a long time already. There wasnt much choices as well.. meats were good except for the chicken sashimi that they served us. The grilled chicken was raw.. like sashimi. We let the server know and he said sorry. Took the plate then left. Thats it. Nothing else. Never came back to our table. Pay the bill and go. The bill was $350 for 6 of us. Worth it? Nope.

   Great place for a family dinner. Especially on Monday when we found out that kids eat free! Our server was lovely, she was very friendly and attentive. The bbq meats kept coming around and were delicious. The whole dinner was a great experience and we were all stuffed. I will recommended it to all my friends.

   As a Master Chef with over 50 years' experience, I found the establishment to be neat, clean and well-run. The food was phenomenal and plentiful. The serving staff was attentive and friendly, being on point for our every need. The one thing that gave me and my party pause was the lack of information concerning what was on the BBQ and coming around. I did miss out on two items due to that oversight - the lamb and ribs. Other than that, the whole Rio Brazilian Steakhouse experience was totally enjoyable. It is not a restaurant; it is an EXPERIENCE!! One well-worth returning for.

    Horrible service, horrible food, horrible environment (loud with naked dancers around), even the caipirinha was horrible :-( we didn’t get the type of meat we requested, ordered more bananas and didn’t get it, and the “gauchos” didn’t know how to cut and serve the meat. Really disappointing and over priced.
