Rintintin Ratings and Reviews
Rintintin is a solid spot for either a date or even just a bite after work at the bar. The cuisine is reasonably priced, they have a good drink menu, and the staff is very accommodating: for example, this past weekend, I accidentally made a reservation for Sunday instead of Saturday, but the hostess still found a way to squeeze in our party of three. Highly recommended! And plenty of good spots to go afterward for desert or drinks!
As always the food was wonderful. I do find though that every time i come here the service is really bad. You have to stand waiting to be seated for ages while the wait staff just walk past you not acknowledging your presence. Then once you are seated you then have to battle for their attention again to order. Not the happiest or smiliest staff that's for sure but lucky the food and atmosphere is great.
Had a wonderful catch-up dinner with a friend here the other night. Nice cozy atmosphere, but still didn't feel like we were sitting too close to anyone else. Not too loud and we could easily hear one another at a normal volume. Nice wine selection. Food was on point. We decided to share the burrata (without pancetta), cauliflower soup, zucchini/eggplant chips, and veg tagine. All four were delicious and it was the perfect amount of food (maybe we were just really hungry!) The service was mostly good and attentive, and we appreciated that the dishes came out staggered, providing us some time (and space on the table) to get through each one. The only thing that was a bit annoying is that we were interrupted way too many times when we were getting through the last couple dishes simultaneously, to see if we were done yet... we were clearly still making our way through the food and wine and in the middle of conversation. It felt like we were being rushed out. There were a couple empty tables around us, so it couldn't have been to fit more people. Also, one of the hosts (or maybe he was a waiter who also was helping out in front) had a bit of a judgmental attitude problem. We had minimal interaction with him, thankfully. Our server was really lovely, though.
Was so happy to dine here with friends. I love Mediterranean food and this menu had a lot of amazing options. Luckily I went with friends so we all ordered different things and shared - everything was so good. The cocktails were delightful and the ambience was excellent. I will go back for sure. Great service too - very attentive but laid back.
I've passed this place a million times and finally gave it a try. My boyfriend and I thought the cocktails were great. He's a mixologist, so he really knows his liquor. The food was super tasty and the serving size was great. Staff members were very attentive making sure no glass was left empty without being too disruptive.
food was good, we had the risotto, torpedo pita, eggplant fried thingi, the steak and the mixed platter.
service was pretty much average (took ages untill the food came though). but what disturbed me most is that we told the hostess that it was my friends birthday if they can give us a rather quieter booth in the back of the restaurant. it all worked out when we arrived after the entrees they asked us for dessert but we were pretty late already since it took about 70 minutes untill the entrees were brought (we told them to bring everything at the same time). anyhow all of a suddon a few waiters showed up and brought a cake with a candle and sang happy birthday for my friend which was actually pretty nice. but in the end they charged the cake on the bill with 20$ which i think is not okay since we actually especially told them that we were in a rush..
but food was great though!
Delicious, fresh, healthy, balanced with a side of great service! This place is great, I came for a girls brunch and am already planning my next visit back. They are gluten free friendly and can accommodate requests. Plus there are a few seats outside that make for great people watching.
Had a great dinner at Rintintin other than being asked by the waitstaff to leave our table for another reservation after being there for less than 2 hours. It was strange given that there were other open tables and no communication that there was a time limit on our reservation.
