ステーキは肉質、焼き加減とも申し分なし。雰囲気、サービスも素晴らしく、誰を連れて行っても間違いない。文句なしのポートランドのNo.1 steak house.
Delicious food & excellent service justified high prices at Ringside Steakhouse. My family and I enjoyed the wedge salad, Caesar salad, onion rings, and fillet mignon, offered in various sizes and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes/loaded backed potato included with the steaks were also very tasty.
There is no place to sit in the bar and have a drink if one arrives before his reservation time, as the restaurant uses this as an extension of the dining room and serves dinner at the various bar tables as well as at the bar counter. As a result we had wine in the lobby, which was not ideal but the waiter was attentive and frequently returned with our chilled bottle of wine to refill our glasses.
Ringside Steakhouse is a special occasion restaurant, but everything was most satisfying and I look forward to dining here again.
Same great service we have always gotten in the nearly decade we’ve been dining at Ringside
Excellent food. The onion rings were among the best we have ever had
Wayne our server was exceptional.
The Ringside never disappoints. Service, food, ambiance -- all top notch. Can't wait 'til our next meal there!
Everything was wonderful. I don't like that you have to pay extra to get a vegetable. Many people have a low carb lifestyle for health reasons. While I love potatoes, I can't eat them. You should have a vegetable option on the menu besides potatoes that come with the meal.
Excellent meats. Service is first class. Will always be on my list
I'll preface this review by saying we've dined at Ringside on several occasions and had stellar service by career servers. Unfortunately, last night for our 20th anniversary we can't say the same. It took 18 minutes for someone to take our drink order. We were 2 minutes away from leaving. The server was cordial, but he didn't provide that top-notch experience you expect from a fine steakhouse. In fact, I don't believe he even introduced himself by name. He may have been overworked because he had several large tables, which were clearly more important to him. I understand - that's where the majority of his tips would come from, but it was our 20th wedding anniversary so I felt cheated. We picked Ringside out of all the other steakhouse options in Portland for this special night because we thought we'd get great service in a romantic location. On top of that, our order was wrong. No, I didn't say anything at the time because I didn't care to deal with it and it wasn't an egregious error. But again, I have a higher expectation of service when you pay over $50 for an 8 oz. steak. The food is wonderful at Ringside (their special lobster mashed potatoes was to die for), but the whole package is what has us returning time after time. I've learned that the next time we go I'll be sure to request one of their long-time servers.
The service is impeccable, the food is mostly excellent, but some items are just “good”. I’m satisfied with almost everything except the exorbitantly high prices; regardless of who you are, it’s very difficult to justify $35 for good fried chicken. Or $60 for 8oz of the lesser cuts of steak.
I might not find better steak quality in town, but I can easily find better value. Most $35 steaks at similar establishments will be at least close to the same quality.
Dave was our host tonight, but the entire wait staff was terrific! We will be back!
one of my favorites in p town! Old school ambiance missed in new places around town.
Was a fun evening with friends celebrating Valentines Day. Valets were good, Derek our server was excellent and the food was wonderful.
The best onion rings, great steaks and lobster mash potatoes. Our waiter, Wayne was excellent. A five star night.
Service was amazing. I was 45 min late on Valentine’s Day and they made my reservation work. The wait staff are always amazing and very knowledgeable about their menu items. Of course the onion rings are the best ever lol, but the steak, lobster, and pork belly are absolutely a top pick for anyone coming to ringside. Wait staff very friendly and know how to make you feel comfortable. The ambiance is impeccable, the lighting and decor is just what you want from a steakhouse.
