Another phenomenal dinner at the Ringside!!!!!

Upscale steakhouse with dynamite service, excellent cocktails, a huge wine selection, and quality meats cooked to perfection.

Ringside is the creme de la creme in Portland for steak and classy old school atmosphere. You can't go wrong for a special occasion or just a treat yourself night. We also loved the octopus starter, everything is done perfectly.

My only feedback would be their options for people who don't drink alcohol could use some improvement, I don't want to drink a shirley temple at a steak house, and would love to see some alcohol free cocktail options.

Excellent cuisine and service! I would recommend this to anyone who us looking for the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion! The Ringside is a phenomenal Portland steakhouse.

Orders appetizers, drinks and STEAK! My favorite thing was the mixed green salad, it was soooo good!

We were in the outdoor tent, which I was a bit skeptical of because it was very chilly outside but the tent is enclosed with an amazing ventilation system as it was explained to us. We were very comfortable, tables were well-spaced apart and as always the food was spectacular! Nice to have an evening out that felt relatively “normal”...

Birthday dinner!

One of the best steakhouses anywhere in the US, with excellent, well trained, attentive and helpful staff and a fine selection of steaks and accompaniments, plus nice choices for the non-meateaters, Also excellent, well priced wines and liquors.

We thoroughly enjoyed Ringside’s special 3-course prime rib dinner, as we have on many prior occasions. The prime rib was, as always, excellent. But we are not at all pleased with their sudden policy change that no longer allows you to substitute, at no additional cost, a lovely baked potato for the rather tasteless and unsatisfying popover. Especially at this time when restaurants are struggling with Covid restrictions, one would think Ringside would do more, not less, to encourage diners, particularly its regulars, to dine there more often.

Great service and Amazing food. We felt very safe with the staff and the alterations made to the interior due to current health concerns.

We celebrated my birthday and everything was wonderful! The staff are so kind, knowledgeable and friendly, but respectful of your space. The food was outstanding (as usual) and the atmosphere was perfect for an evening at the best steakhouse in Portland!

Always great service and food. We enjoy the great selection of entree's and sides. They carry premium spirits and the cocktails are always well made.

they just keep getting better and better with time. Been coming here for 11 years now. Try the ahi appetizer. Best oysters in town too. and of course the best steak too.

Been a regular diner here since 1985 and the Ringside never fails to deliver. My wife and I had another great evening splitting a dinner along with appetizers and a salad being served by Angela (food) and Andy (behind the bar).

In times like today, an classic oasis to escape to.

Great atmosphere... Service was a little slow had to wait 10 minutes for refills of drinks. Onion rings were bland and had little seasoning. We had the Ribeye for two it was outstanding and my wife loved the rice pilaf. The creme brûlée for dessert was good but the sugar on top wasn’t correct. We were overall happy with the experience but for the price we expected better service.

The Ringside never disappoints!

The Ringside is always a wonderful experience. Their Covid-19 precautions are exceptionally good.

Not up to expectations based on past experience. Filet Minion steaks were just ok, lobster came late and had way too much salty seasoning. We don't mind paying for exceptional meal and service but this experience was mediocre at best. Sad to see a favorite spot decline.

We were seated in a booth across from the entrance to the kitchen. Uncomfortable seating for 4 people and noisy.

We have always loved Ringside and this was no exception. The service was excellent as well as the food. We ordered cocktails and the onion ring appetizer. We mentioned if we ordered that we don’t want to be rushed through our cocktails or salad before the main course comes out. It wasn’t and the timing was great.

Ringside is doing a really good job adjusting to the current restrictions. We've been very comfortable eating there.

There were way too many people for comfort and the prices were really over the top!
Not what we were use to after dinning at the Ringside for the last 15 years.
Not coming back when we return to see my father in April!

Always the best atmosphere and food in Portland. We love the Ringside. They are taking the best precautions against covid, can’t wait until things get back to normal.
