RingSide Fish House - Fox Tower Ratings and Reviews
Very fresh seafood with great, friendly service. Our waitress, Nancy, had very good attention to detail even as our group was finishing up near closing time. Definitely go there for the fish and shellfish. The steaks are also prepared nicely as well for those who are not seafood lovers.
I recommend you try RingSide Fish House
Too expensive for a mediocre quality of food. We were sit in a table in an obscure gloomy corner when numerous better tables were open. We ordered soups as appetizers. The soups never showed up till we had to remind them. The place was not even busy. The girl at the front desk was super nice. The rest of the experience was forgettable.
Excellent service. Great seafood. I ordered the raw oysters and they were fresh and delicious. My lobster tail with a side of twice baked potato was decadent. As always, I’m never disappointed with the food and service of this restaurant. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it.
Great night out! Amazing service, delicious food. We ordered the scallops and filet mignon. Both were perfectly done and tasted so great. Our cocktails were the perfect addition to the dinner—we got the Penicillin and The Producer. We’ll definitely be back!
Fantastic food. The salmon neck or tail was cooked perfectly and surrounded by seasonal vegetables. Also had the filet mignon with prawns which was cooked to perfections. The cauliflower curry soup was excellent and not overpowering. Will definitely come again.
Our waitress Nancy was outstanding. When we were pondering the extensive wine list, she voluntarily brought us a sampling of a very nice Syrah which became our dinner wine. She offered informed dinner recommendations and kept the meal at a leisurely pace. As midnight approached on New Year's Eve, she suggested we stay a moment to enjoy the complimentary champagne toast. Nancy's professionalism, sense of humor, and conversation added to a wonderful evening. The scallops and crab cakes were outstanding.
We will return to the Ringside Fish House for the pre/post theater offering with a reservation for a table with a view of Director's Park.
Went here with a group of 9 for New Years Eve. We all thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and food. Great service. We weren’t in the main dining room, so the ambiance was probably not as nice as the rest of the restaurant, but great service and food made up for that.
I was really looking forward to a special NYE's dinner but was very underwhelmed by our meal and service. First off, we arrived on time for our reservation but had to still wait about awhile with no explanation or offering to take our coats, etc. And then the food...my filet mignon still had the STRING attached around it when it was brought out and my boyfriend's steak was very pink all the way through despite ordering it medium. However, the onion rings (starter) and warm doughnuts (dessert) we really nice but the main courses were disappointing due to the presentation and under cooking of our liking and the server didn't seem to be engaged enough to notice.
The ambiance was nice. The service was exvellent. Two of us had the Sturgeon which was poached in olive oil and the fish itself had absolutely no flavor at all.
I like sturgeon and I assume that prepared another way it would have been better. I question how a dish with 0 flavor could have left the kitchen. The other person with us had the steelhead which was good.
The desert donuts were delicious. A far better fish dish can be had at the Paragon Restaurant for less cost.
We had our annual Christmas Eve dinner at the Fish House. The good was good as always; however, our server was off his game. He forgot our order of onion rings. I inquired about them after waiting for quite awhile. He placed the order thereafter and they arrived at the same time as our entrees. He comped the onion rings, but we had an anniversary coupon, so it didn’t really matter. He brought us two desserts as part of the three course meal thinking that we had only ordered one three course meal and that he was giving us an extra dessert. We actually had ordered three three course meals and should have received three desserts. We didn’t see him for about 10 minutes, so this didn’t get corrected until much later. He was apologetic and pleasant enough, but it was somewhat disappointing.
We needed a restaurant for 7 of our family who came from three different directions (two flying in from Tennessee). The service was superb and the food delicious. Even our 5-year-old granddaughter enjoyed her meal. Having our tickets validated for parking the entire evening while we enjoyed a nearby concert was "icing on the cake"--THANK YOU!
There isn't much to say here. Great food, great service, nice environment. I had the special which was a small filet mignon with jumbo shrimp. Everything was perfectly cooked and our server was very attentive to our time constraints. This is a great place for an elegant meal.
Went early for a family dinner before a show. Service was impeccable and the waiter was very aware of time contraints. Menu had something for each of us ( and we were with two teenagers). The food was absolutely delicious we had salmon scallops and steak and we were all pleased. And the onion rings perfect as always.
