Rincon Argentino - Coral Gables Ratings and Reviews
Excellent and varied cuts of meat, empanadas and soups. The french fries were disappointing (should have asked for "home fries" instead, as we had on prior visits, which are much better). The menu offers several other good pasta choices as well. The spinach cannelloni is recommended. The service was attentive and efficient. The ambiance and decor are classy, casual Argentinean. This was our second visit and we will return, especially for their great lunch specials.
Dining at this restaurant NEVER disappoints. The service is outstanding, the food is fantastic and authentic Argentine and the atmosphere brings back memories of Buenos Aires. If in doubt as to what to order from the extensive menu, you can rely on the recommendations provided...they are consistently great. I am always looking for a reason to return to this Miami gem.
Was our daughter birthday and she wanted to go to a meat place. Using Open Table we looked at a meat place with good reviews in the area of Coral Gables and the rest is ho@istory.
The service was superior, at least two persons were with us most of the time. The waitres recommendations were very good and all rhe meat was tender and juicy.
Desserts were the cherry on top!
Highly recommend it and will be back next time in town.
A fun restaurant for a family dinner to celebrate our son's graduation from UM. Food was plentiful and well-prepared. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to have several options while the meat eaters enjoyed steak, lamb, pork, and chicken. The empanadas are definitely worth the visit, especially the corn empanadas! Service was excellent. Will definitely return if in the area again.
This was our second time this great restaurant. Service was outstanding; you are made to feel like a "regular". The menu is extensive and provides excellent choices for anyone looking for an authentic Argentine eating experience. The wine list is extensive. We are already planning a return visit.
Outstanding and authentic Argentine restaurant. It felt like we were walking into a classic BA establishment. Great service and comprehensive menu of Argentine cuisine. This restaurant, in operation for 30 years, is a true Coral Gables gem. In addition to great food, they offer an outstanding selection of wine. Our only regret; this was the first time we have eaten at Rincon Argentino. We will certainly return to what will likely become one of our favorite restaurants.
We celebrated our Aunt's Birthday. For appetizers, we had the beef emanadas, chorizos and champignons al ajillo (delish). All three were excellent. My husband had the parrilla for one person, but two can easily share. We had the beef chorizo, which is the sirloin, medium well. It was delicious! Juicy, tender and with great flavor. If you order the 24 oz. , it is also enough for two. To finish off, we had the two Argentinian desserts; with coffee. Service was great.
Our waitress was very rude and loud. She wasn't pleased with my local dines coupon and told me that it was either the coupon or marking my opentable reservation. She mentioned that opentable gives me points but the restaurant gets charged. This is her problem and I shouldn't be so rudely called out on this. If the service is available, then the business must honor the discounts and offers.
The restaurant opens at 1pm and we had lunch at 2pm and they were already out of sweetbreads, which in an Argentinean restaurant that's sinful; might as well just close for the day... or go to the supermarket and buy some.
