Love this place!
I prefer the other locations. The food here was just ok which was not at all what I was expecting from the other sister restaurants I’ve been to many times. Nice place and nice staff
Nice meal in a cozy dining room. The various tapas were well prepared. We loved the goat cheese stuffed dates. The garlic shrimp was also nice, if a bit mild to our taste. I might suggest that the presentation of the shrimp be altered. It's a bit difficult heading and peeling shrimp that already have sauce on them. Maybe provide a wet wipe? The pollo and meatball dishes were also quite nice. An enjoyable meal overall.
A true gem! We would be lost without Rincon 38, one of favorites!
Random is definitely the best Spanish dining place in the cities service was excellent personalized. I definitely recommend this place and will be back
We had a wonderful time! The food is always incredible and our server was kind and very efficient. We all adore this place
Absolutely amazing food and wine. The service was impeccable.
Service was excellent and the tapas were very good. The tapas are over priced. We spent $160 dollars for 2 people. That did include wine.
Great food. Server was very helpful
A wonderful variety of Spanish Tapas. We tried several and they were all wonderful. Cost wise, it adds up quickly. Each dish we had though was so flavorful and the presentation was fantastic. The service was excellent from when we walked in the door and then through the entire meal. They also have a very nice selection of wine.
Delightful neighborhood place serving tasty tapas.
Amazing as always!!!!
Great place to try a variety of entrees, everyone found something they liked and the service was outstanding, very friendly.
Delicious dinner, terrific service. We enjoyed four small plates, several with seafood and a bottle of wine. This restaurant is a bit pricey but definitely worth it! We'll be back.
Love this place. The food is inventive and delicious. The wine superb. The service informed and friendly. Go see Sergio for a warm welcome and a delightful evening.
Rincon 38 is truly one of the best spots in MPLS. The service and the food is just over the top! Go here to celebrate a special occasion or just to celebrate being alive and being able to enjoy such a fantastic place. Looking forward to going back soon!
We had a fabulous experience. The noise level is a bit high but it’s worth the cozy experience..
Probably the best tapas place in the Twin Cities. There were some dishes better than others but nothing was disappointing.
Yes, we would recommend Rincon. The restaurant offers an extensive and varied menu from which choices are made to be shared between people or enjoyed individually. The selections are tasty and attractively presented. An efficient, pleasant, and knowledgeable wait person assisted us with making choices
Excellent wine and beverage list. Including non-alcoholic selections.
Rincon 38 is now our most favorite restaurant! We cannot wait to return! Fabulous food! Attentive service! Just outstanding!!!!!
Superlative food, service and ambiance. I have visited 8 times and have never been disappointed.
Amazing food. We had the sea bass, baby scallops, lamb chops, and the octopus with chorizo. Highly recommend all of them!!!
food is always wonderful and interesting. 5 tapas for 3 of us was enough--plus dessert of course.
Several of us had the sea bass with polenta. Foodie heaven. We all enjoyed our food and experience at this lovely restaurant. We will return!
We always enjoy our meals at Rincon 38 ... ate there just 10 days ago, and then again this week with our teenage granddaughter who is visiting from out of town. We have been going to Rincon since our son and his family moved to Minneapolis 4 years ago. We're happy to say we've now relocated here ourselves and will be able to walk to Rincon from our new house. The menu has an excellent and varied selection of items including many seafood and some very tasty vegetarian options. The portions are a perfect size -- my husband and I really like small plates menus -- we can eat very well without ordering huge portions. Service is very friendly and attentive without being overly fussy. Wine list is good, desserts are also excellent! Nothing negative to say at all... it's perfect the way it is!!
This place blew my mind! They have the traditional Spanish tapas I was looking for, but with lots of added flair. The fried Manchengo cheese appetizer was like a giant flat motzarella stick with balsamic sauce drizzled - cheese lovers you need to eat this! We loved the meatballs, the sauce they came in was so good we asked for more bread to soak it up. The patatas bravas were beyond the ordinary and had amazing flavor and beautiful presentation. All in all, the food was fabulous, the ambiance was quaint (small in size, located in the Kingsfeild neighborhood or Mpls), and we were well taken care of. Most definitely will be back very soon, and this will make it into our rotation of favorite spots!
As usual, a great experience with great food. Always a pleasure to dine here!
Outstanding and a bonding experiences with friends : )
We had a great experience at Rincon 38 on Saturday. We were able to sit outside in the shade! The service was great, food was great. We loved everything. The food came out so quickly we even had
time for the delicious chocolate cake dessert!
Another excellent meal at Rincon 38. The service is always outstanding, as is the food and wine selection. If you’ve never been to this restaurant you’re missing out.
The food was delicious but far too costly. I know “tapas” means “small plates,” but even after an appetizer and two $16 and $17 entrees, we were both still hungry when we left—-after paying $86.
The first time we have had a tapas experience, and it worked for everyone from vegetarian to carnivore. I will come again.
Our server selected the perfect wines for our visit. Everything we tried was awesome , especially the picquillo peppers and the seafood paella....can’t wait to go back and try more tapas before we visit Barcelona and Madrid this fall. Highly recommended!
Rincon 38 is a unique restaurant, with unique food offerings, a casual & welcoming environment and helpful, responsive & non-intrusive service. We took a friend there for his birthday, and it was the perfect special place for a special occasion. We all agreed that we plan to return to taste other offerings from the restaurant's exceptional and ample menu.
Fabulous food and great Service. Wide selection of tapas, with every kind of protein you could ask for. Option of half-glasses of wine is a unique offering too.
Every one of the nine or so tapas we ordered and shared had deep, rich flavors and sauces, whether seafood, vegetable, or meat. The Spanish Riojo wine we ordered was a lovely complement. The restaurant is relatively small, so we were glad we made a reservation. Although it was full of customers, we had an easy time conversing at our table, and the service was excellent. We would definitely go to Rincon 38 again.
The outdoor seating is wonderful, but even inside that tiny restaurant, they manage to keep it quite quiet. Very good service and wonderful tapas. We will definitely be back!
Very extensive and interesting menu. A good variety of beers and wines. The food was delicious! Being a tapas restaurant we were able to try many different things and many different flavors. We will definitely go back soon!
Have eaten here many times over the years, from when it 1st opened. It never disappoints!
Great server, food was nice potions for tapas, flavors very good
