The historic RimRock Inn, perched on the edge of Joseph Creek Canyon in Northeast Oregon, is a feast for the senses in a laid-back Western atmosphere. With views of the dramatic canyon back drop while you dine from either inside or out, our destination Inn is a renewed take on the tradition of American scratch-made comfort food with a Western flair. We’re focused on fresh, artisanal ingredients. We use local and organic fruits and vegetables and sustainably-raised meats whenever we can. We serve one fixed entree item at dinner (check our website for the latest seasonal menu). Our bar serves a carefully selected list of craft beers and fine wines from small Pacific Northwest producers only. Scratch-made desserts and small plates are fresh & change with our whim!

This is a unique spot in beautiful country that provides personal service and food on a reservation basis. Beautiful view of deep Joseph Canyon and an option to sleep in a tipi. Dinner on the outside deck has a panoramic view of the canyon and the food is excellent.

This was such a great experience with the hummingbirds f locking to the feeders and the canyon right beyond, it couldn't have been better. Rim Rock Inn had such attention to detail in every aspect. I would totally recommend the whole package or even just an evening out.

I was blown away the first time I dined at the Rimrock Inn. Being out in the middle of "nowhere", one does not expect the fine dining experience within. Wonderful panoramic view, gracious and friendly staff, delicious fare and relaxed atmosphere. A hidden gem.

So, if you find yourself in this corner of the world, you should reserve at the Rimrock. They make a fixed meal every night and you can either stay in the lovely rooms or in the teepees outside looking over the spectacular canyon. They made a choice of three apps and we have the mushrooms stuffed with goat cheese. Then a lovely salad came with a choice of 4 house-made dressings. We loved the shallot vinaigrette. The main course included succulent pork ribs that fell off the bone as well as a gratin potato dish and corn on the cobb. Desert was a choice of hand pies-apple, berry, etc cooked to order. It's just the perfect kind of place for many people who want a rustic yet delicious meal. Great selection of microbrews, cider, and wine too.
