Rigby's Ratings and Reviews
We really like this restaurant! The food is great, I had the seared sesame tuna and it was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the key lime pie was delicious. The pricing is very reasonable, it would be hard to match it anywhere else in downtown Rehoboth for such great food. The only drawback is that the atmosphere is very basic and plain. We don't mind though considering how good the food is, and will definitely be back! Our new favorite place!
Went in for Sunday brunch with my wife. Both ordered burgers which were seasoned we'll and cooked to order - my wife's well done burger was moist throughout. Reasonably priced with excellent service. A drink was included with each entree so we had a Mimosa and a Bloody Mary which were made to satisfy. Would definitely return!
This is a real treasure in the Rehoboth area. The crabcakes, pasta, and onion soup are delicious. All is reasonably priced. Very family-friendly. Why people stand in line for lesser food two blocks east of Rigbys is a mystery to me. This is going to become my go-to restaurant for a good, solid meal in the Rehoboth area.
I'm hesitant to even rate this restaurant because it was delicious AND they took a reservation in Rehoboth during August for a table of 8! Plus they have free parking.
We will be going back again soon! The crab cakes had no filler and everything was absolutely delicious. Even the desert! Service was exceptional also.
A total hole in the wall but everything was excellent. Our server Jeffrey was on the ball. At one point there were 20 people sitting that he was waiting on all at once and didn't miss a beat. The cream of crab soup was delicious. I had a salad and my mom had a steak that was cooked to perfection. The price point on all meals was excellent as well. Definitely make a reservation as it is small and seems that they will only take the reservations as they only do have 1 server at most times (as per Jeffrey).
We enjoyed a quiet dinner here at the end of Memorial Day weekend. Our server's recommendations were good, and the menu had a nice variety of options. We also enjoyed the musician performing in the bar area; the music was just the right volume in the dining room. We liked that it was a little bit removed from the congestion closer to the beach, and the price point was good.
We came in search of pasta before our a half marathon and the pasta primavera bowl I got was very good. The menu isn't super big but everything was good and the waiter was incredibly friendly. I feel like there are a lot more unique restaurant options in the area, but we were looking for something inoffensive that wouldn't bother our stomachs for the race and this served its purpose.
There were mixed reviews for Rigby's, but we gave it a try anyway. It's a low key atmosphere with very good service. The entree's were excellent and decent portions. We had the tuna, the swordfish, the salmon, chicken marsala, the flatiron steak and a burger. We also had the spring roll appetizer which was outstanding. However, the sides were terrible. The broccoli was very over cooked and so were the green beans, except they were swimming in butter which made them tolerable. The bourbon mashed sweet potatoes were tasteless and the lemon basmati rice was bland. The french fries and potatoe salad are the only tasty sides. Had chocolate mousse for dessert which was also very good, obviously home-made!!
Didn't like the food so much, but that is just me. Everything was drenched or cooked in butter, which I don't like. We went very early so it was quiet. Live music in the bar. There is an outdoor patio in the back which is quite nice, connects to the bar. i assume that they also serve food there.
Went at 7:00 pm on a Friday. Many good choices on the menu. Though Jeremy was very nice, he never brought us the bread he promised; no drink menu was handed to us and we weren't asked if we wanted any starters. Our entrees came out very quickly and were quite good but a little on the small side except for the kid's and Rigby cheeseburger. They were very generous portions. The whole meal felt rushed. Though the food was delicious I don't think we'd go back.
They did not know about our reservation so don't even bother. We had to wait for our table to be set up. It took 15 mins until a server came. It took 15 mins for our drinks from the bar. We waited an hour for our food and then it was cold upon arrival. The only thing that was hot was the rolls after we asked for them. Our server was apologetic but nothing was taken off the bill. It sucked.
Soups were very good, main dishes were average to below average. Wedge salad was horrible as the lettuce was not crisp and smoothered with dressing. Two people in our party had the pasta, one the crab and the other shrimp and it lacked taste. One had the hanger steak and it was good. I had the hamburger which was good as well. Overall average on food.
