This is my absolutely favorite restaurant in Boulder! I love the atmosphere, the service, and the menu!! Candace
A bit pricey but did enjoy the unique dishes.
The small plates let you sample a lot of choices, the food is outstanding, and the service is first class. Our out-of-town guests loved it.
I asked about the stuffed pepper special and was told by our waitress that she loved it! Claimed it to be delicious. I was later served a dish that did not resemble any kind of stuffed pepper. I called back our waitress and was assured that it was the dish I ordered. I took a bite and it was cod over garlic mashed potatoes! I eventually got what I ordered after talking with the manager!
Loved the restaurant. Had an appetizer, meals, and dessert and everything was wonderful. The couple we were dining with were locals, loved their food, and weren’t aware there were so many dining options.
My only complaint would be that the noise level was fairly high and I at times had difficulty hearing our other party across the table.
We are from out of town and found Riffs on Trip Advisor.
Very nice place. Good food and a good lunch menu. Waiter was very nice and attentive.
We are happy to hear it! Thank you!
Great food and great service. One of our favorite farm to table restaurants in Boulder! Highly recommend.
Our server was able to answer all our questions about our food concerns and selections. Food and presentation were exceptional.
Always good. The kale salad with chicken is my favorite (but my 6 year old decided to eat half of it). The pulled pork was also ordered and delish. This is my go- to.
Awesome. Happy Hour portions were huge! We loved it!
Wonderful to hear! Thank you!
Loved loved loved the cedar plank salmon (we got it with mashed potatoes) and the grilled avocado! Our waitress was awesome and gave us a great idea for a day out to the Longmont seafood farmers market. Would definitely come back!
We are so thrilled to hear you had a great experience! Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you back again soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Riffs. My husband, daughter, and I all had appetizers and entrees off of the Specials Menu. We found all of the dishes to be tasty, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was fun. I would return should we be in Boulder again.
That is wonderful to hear! Thank you and we hope you make it back to Boulder again!
I love the food here-I would go here all the time except that their wine is way too expensive. I had to have beer with my meal, since I didn't want to spend $50 on a bottle of wine. THe $20 pork chop was great, but $50 for a bottle- ridiculous. Not even any specials.
Please have a couple bottles of reasonably priced wine-
I guess this place is great for non-drinkers, but for me a meal is not complete without some wine.
Hey there! There is a bottle of white and a bottle of red on the list both priced at $32 a bottle. There are also quite a few other options in the $42 a bottle range! We also offer 30% off our whole wine list during happy hour which is Monday-Friday from 3-5pm! We hope to see you again soon for some tasty food and some wine parings to go along with dinner!
The ambiance, staff and quality of food was all amazing. The flavor combination of every item we ordered was interesting and worked so well together. We loved it so much we came back for dinner that night. And, the gentleman working as host recognized us and said "welcome back". Beautiful setting, interesting drinks and overall wonderful energy in the place. We loved it!
Polly, we are thrilled to hear you enjoyed yourself! We are always so appreciative of hearing from guests and knowing we are doing our job to make Riffs a wonderful experience! Thank you!
Great food and service. Best Brussel Sprouts I have ever had! Steak was great and my wife loved her red snapper.
Mike, great to hear! Hopefully we see you again soon for some more brussels and tasty entree specials! Thank you!
I love Riffs, I admit it. If we lived closer, we'd eat there once a week. This time for lunch was doubly nice the entrees are less expensive, but everything I love is on the menu. I had avocado-cucumber soup, grilled bread, that delicious cauliflower, and this week's special sole dish. My wife had Kale Salad. We both had one of their great desserts, mine the this-month-only peach crumble with ice cream. Plus two glasses of wine (Tempranillo and Côtes du Rhône). All for $68 before tip. And right on Pearl Street Mall, to boot!
Jeffery, We are so happy to hear you enjoyed yourself and that you enjoy our restaurant! We appreciate the kind words and we cant wait to see you again next time you make the drive into Boulder! Thank you!
Outside dinner option was great on Pearl street. Superb food. Price good for the high quality. Staff very pleasant.
Thank you! We hope to see you again soon!
This restaurant is SO good, on a short visit we went twice! The food is prepared with such care and plated beautifully. Roasted oysters were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Roasted tomatoes with warmed burrata was delightful. Tuna tartare over soba noodles had the perfect amount of toasted sesame. Last but not least, the brown butter peach tart may have been the best dessert that I have had EVER! It was sheer perfection.
You do NOT want to miss this place!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are so happy to hear your enjoyed all the goodies our chef was cookin' up!
This was the highlight of 3 days of dining out in Boulder!
Greg, we are so thrilled to hear it! Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you next time!
Third time dining at Riff’s. I love their avocado and crab salad as well as the mussels. What was disappointing was the so called grilled bread that we ordered for the table. It was nothing but 3 slices of run-of-the-mill sandwich bread with grill marks. Come on Riff’s, you can do better than that. At least make it cubes of bread or chunks of warm bread or something......
Very good place for lunch
Thank you! We hope to see you back again soon!
Complete deliciousness on every level! Fresh and local. Perfect end to a day in Boulder.
Wonderful to hear! Thank you!
This was my first time at this restaurant. Riff's was disappointing as the service/ kitchen was incredibly slow even though the restaurant was not busy. The salmon burger was dry, the garden salad was minuscule. I would not go to Riff's again. The server was nice and the place looks nice inside, but the food and kitchen and delivery were terribly disappointing.
My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at Riffs. Was surprised how yummy the mixed green salad was as well as the linguini. Hope they stay on the menu forever.
We are so happy to hear you and your husband enjoyed yourselves while dinning with us! We cant wait to see both of you again soon!
Food, service and all around atmosphere make this our favorite for dinner while in Boulder.
That is wonderful to hear! Thank you Andy!
Riff's is a great place and a must visit when coming to Boulder. Friends came to visit and took them for dinner. I highly recommend the specials- selections are excellent and I love that local veggies/fare are part of dining experience. Regular menu is ok, good basic fare . It's a cozy place and service is usually very good. Our waitress was very attentive- great experience.
John is a fabulous chef! The chili chicken salad was excellent as are all the dishes - thank you! Alan
We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your meal! Thank you, Alan!
Had an opportunity to treat one of my daughters and her husband to an impromptu lunch. Riffs immediately came to mind since we’d enjoy Dino g there previously. We weren’t disappointed. Great cocktails. Appetizer of locally sourced carrots was incredible. Our entrees were delicious and we were thankful for our server’s recommendations. Dessert was a great at the end. We had a great afternoon at Riffs.
Thank you Mark! We are all pleased to hear you had such a great time and experience while joining us! We look forward to your next visit!
Always perfect! In every way!
Wonderful dining experience, great options to share, dishes were SO creative!
We were visiting from the Bay Area in Colorado for a week. Riffs was the best food we had all week. Everything was nicely presented and delicious. Good value.
Wonderful to hear! Thank you!
Mussels were not fresh & dinner portion served was very small. Burgers were order medium and served well done and hammered, fries were way over salted. Server was a little rude and not very present. Food delivered to table approximately 45 minutes after ordering. Manager was nice
Always a great dining experience at Riffs! Food- excellent, Service- excellent, quiet and comfortable
Thank you! We appreciate the kind words and hope to see you soon!
Everyone I introduce to this wonderful restaurant is very surprised at the quality of food and choices. The innovation and great combination of flavors is " to die for". The trout appetizer is fantastic, along with the grilled avocado.
Our server was of the same consistent quality as all the others we have had serve us in the past. We can count on great experiences at this restaurant every time.
We always enjoy sitting by the preparation area so we can see the dishes being served. But there are many seating options.
This was the best meal in our 7 days in Colorado and this includes our stay at the Broadmoor. I believe our server’s name was Katie and she was awesome-friendly, timely, and offered great suggestions. We had the grilled avocado and the smoked trout appetizers. The flavors didn’t work well together but separately they were outstanding dishes. The grilled avocado with the homemade tortillas was particularly delicious. My husband I both loved our entrees but agreed that mine was the better of the two. I had the cedar planked salmon with local mushrooms. We were only in Boulder 3 nights and wanted to experience several restaurants, but it was hard to not go back to Riffs. They are doing the farm to table concept very well.
Tracy, we are so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed yourself! Cady has worked here at Riffs for a long time and we are still excited every time she works to hear all the wonderful feedback from guests who dine with her! Hopefully you make it back to Boulder soon and we can show you another great dining experience! Thank you!
Decent beer selection. Good is kind of gross. I’ve been here twice and both times it was mostly empty. Not surprised.
Soup and salad great, burger was good, pasta had good balance of meat, mushrooms and linguine. Overall it was quite expensive for what we got.
We are happy to hear you enjoyed your meal! Thank you for joining us!
Was there for a friend's birthday dinner! They gave us a free champagne toast as well as a birthday dessert! Such a great meal!
Happy to hear it Kimberly! Thank you!
It's the best restaurant in Boulder and the Denver area. The chef is incredible.
Thank you Jim!
Love this place. Food is always delicious, beautifully presented and intense flavor combos. we sat inside and it was freezing. Too much ice in the drinks, too. Aside from the freezing factor. This is a consistently great restaurant.
