Very pleasant dinner. Good food, friendly and professional waitress, enjoyable atmosphere. No complaints.
Consistently good but wines are over priced. Service was okay but not great.
Loved our Ridgway Experience ~~ David was an excellent and pleasant server....my birthday cake was extraordinary!!
This is a wonderful restaurant and dining experience in every way. The servers are the best and most professional in Naples by far. They know not to interrupt the patrons in mid sentence and are very courteous . The garden area seating is peaceful and relaxing and the front porch is fun when there's live music. Forgot to mention the food, excellent menu especially the snapper piccata . I've been going to this restaurant since it was Chef's Garden, my parent's favorite, and now our kids love it, too. Definitely our favorite restaurant in town!
Looks like this place was probably hailed as a gourmet restaurant in its heyday. The food was fairly good but nothing exciting. Some of the combinations probably need to get updated in order to be fit for a foodie. I see that some people found this restaurant overpriced. The prices were like any other upscale restaurant's. Our waitress was great however. Therefore I have to say the service was impeccable. We weren't very impressed with the hostess as she tried to seat us on the patio even though I had called ahead of time and asked specifically to be seated in the garden and was promised that would be taken care of. Glad I had taken down the name of the person who had promised the seating I wanted. After mentioning her name we were promptly ushered to the garden. The garden seating seems to be very popular and looks like they are trying to sit you somewhere else even after confirming. Will I go back? Probably not. The dining is okay but if I am going to pay those prices I'd rather go to my favorite area, the 5th Avenue and dine in some of the better restaurants that I really enjoy.
Wonderful so glad we chose your delightful spot
We're sure to stop here on our once a year visit to the Naples area. Excellent food and wait staff. Will stop again next year.
Celebrated my birthday with a fabulous key lime martini, delicious food, April was a most attentive server and topped it off dancing with Dawn and Gino - Fantastic night
A wonderful experience--a great fish sandwich and quesadilla supreme!
The food was exceptional, the service outstanding and the Martinis were as good as anywhere at a reasonable price!
Many loud patrons - we heard conversations from many tables away
Octopus was way over cooked, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. A burger from the kids menu shouldn’t arrive 20 minutes after starters for adults. Drinks and burger was ordered before all, and it is not easy to keep a toddler busy when you are eating.
Everything at Ridgway’s is 5 STAR.... including the wait staff!!
Love the ambiance of the garden. Food was great and waiter very attentive.
Fabulous food, fun and Florida atmosphere....always a great experience!!
Was great as always-
Great food choices, home baked bread, beautiful garden atmosphere ~~ perfect dining experience!
Lovely dinner on the porch, yummy food, wine; great server
We always enjoy dining at Ridgway Bar and Grill. We have only dined on their patio or porch areas and the atmosphere is lovely! Great food! Great drinks! Lovely wait staff!
Our waitperson was very good, although it took more than 5 minutes to be acknowledged, another 10 to get water (which came with our drinks.) We had out-of-town guests & with SO many fine eating establishments in Naples, we had talked up the lower patio/garden level & decided on Ridgeway. Our reservations were made 2 days ahead, on-line. The 1st hostess told us we would be overlooking the garden (close enough to the lower patio for us) when @ the last minute, another hostess said we were "bumped" from that table to one on an inside wall (& our table was given to another couple.) There were 2-3 open tables on the lower patio/garden level; we asked if they were an option & were told those were reserved "months " in advance. 2 remained empty until we were almost done with our meal. It may be a seasonal issue or a question of who makes the reservations (we are only "seasonals") but we've ALWAYS had a table on the lower patio & the reservations have been made just a couple days before. If it's true, ok, but it felt like an off-the-cuff brush off. So, overall, waitstaff, once we were acknowledged, was excellent. Food, as always, delicious & did not disappoint. Unfortunately, though, our out-of-town guests (& we) will remember the hostesses' behaviour & time it took to be noticed. Other tables seated @ the same time, or after us, @ least had water. In one case, their full party hadn't even arrived yet & they'd been greeted. We did not feel treated like valued customers; we own 3 restaurants ourselves & know that you only get one 1st impression. Yours was not the best for our guests.
We visit Ridgeway multiple times every year. Love the chicken pot pie but my guests enjoy the very varied menu. Service always excellent.
Tony’s Ridgeway is one of the Old line Naples icons. Great food and always a favorite of the locals.
We wanted to go somewhere for an early dinner before a show and chose Ridgeway Bar & Grill. We did not realize they had an earlybird special but were thrilled with the choices and price. Our waiter was very attentive and saw to all our special requests. The meals were excellent and we had time for a yummy dessert before dashing off to the show. We will definitely be back! The main menu looked amazing (and several of the items on the main menu were also on the earlybird menu).
Great personable service from Larry. Food was fantastic. Great place for a special occasion.
Worth a visit.
Wasn’t up to par and the food was out outrageously expensive
Amazing menu with a southern gourmet appeal.
Beautiful and comfortable with very friendly and personable service.
Our waiter was sweet but just not the level of service you might expect for a $200 dinner for a party of two. Food wasn’t horrible but just mediocre, dessert brownie was either from sams club or chick-fil-a. Unless this is your only option, I would recommend going elsewhere in downtown Naples.
Family meal with my four year old grandson visiting from DC.. As always Tony and crew did all to accommodate us. Food and beverage hit the spot , all left satisfied.
$9.00 for a cup of soup! Crazy even at Naples standards. No wonder they were empty at noon the week before Easter. Plus they didn’t check me in on Open Table. When I walked in I clearly stated “I just made a reservation on Open Table.” Then got the reprimand from OT.
We visit Ridgeway at least 3 times per month throughout the year. It is dependable and does not disappoint. From special entres to comfort dishes Tony delivers...
We have been patrons since the late 1970s when it was Chef’s Garden...
The staff is courteous, remembers the customer and candid!
Nice spot for front porch or side garden dining. Excellent ratatouille, an item seldom found on menus. Lots of good choices on menu. Pleasant server, although service was a bit slow, perhaps due to a large party nearby.
Family get together!
Pleasant place to eat with variety of menu choices. Our waitress was outstanding.
Food and service were just ok. Asked for outdoor seating but was told none was available...at least 20 empty tables when we arrived. We were seated next to bathroom instead.
Grilled octopus was very bland, bone marrow was undercooked, and mussels were just ok. French fries were very good.
As always, good food, pleasant atmosphere and great service. Have probably eaten here over a hundred times in the last 20 years. The food is always reliably good, consistent and while the favorites are always on the menu, Tony Ridgeway is always looking to mix things up and try new. I do not think he is ego driven like some chefs, therefore he delivers what customers want without being dated or old fashioned.
The new chef has kicked things up a notch. Several tasty new items on the menu (crab avocado tower - yum!) and several of the old "comfort food" items have been re-imagined. Better than it has been for several seasons, and the service was on point too.
Had an unfortunate experience this time. Won't keep us form going back, but my fish came out underdone and the server kept giving me excuses and apologies. Never really saw my meal come out again until we were getting up to leave. David the managing partner did try to make it right and credited part of the bill. Unfortunately, I never had any dinner.
My niece was in town and I wanted her to experience 3rd Street area. We all enjoyed dinner immensely. Lovely service.
Waiter was not particularly attentive
Very good service and food.
