Very good service and food.
THIS IS A REAL HIDDEN GEM. Food is outstanding, service excellent, atmosphere is very superior, sound is very great to talk with your table. The menu is very creative, everything we ate was outstanding. Desert menu ws great and the speed of service surprised me by the efficiency.
My wife wanted to go there for her birthday. When I made the reservation through open table I indicated that it was for a birthday. There was absolutely no acknowledgement from them that they knew it was a birthday.
Some of the food was good. My daughter enjoyed the burger. 2 of us had fish & chips. Fries were terrible and fish - while fine - did not wow. Connors is better.
Wonderful as always - great St. Patty's Day dinner - except for
the cabbage - shredded and not cooked enough.......
Ambiance and service was wonderful, as it always is - enjoyable
Food was delicious
Lovely setting , hostess seated us where we were comfortable. Excellent food and service. Rhonda server perfect !
pasta Bolognese was not good. not much meat in sauce and sauce was not good.
This is a Naples landmark restaurant, but for some reason, it often seems empty during most of the season. Tonight was an exception. It was packed! And, the food and service was good although the waitress seemed a bit frazzled...but justifiably so as she had a table of 12 as well as a table of 10 (next to us).
We will be back as we love Ridgway! And, we love Tony’s too! Cannot resist their snickerdoodle cookies which probably have 5000 calories each!
Beautiful view of Naples at night, sat outside by the railing. Delicious salmon. Enjoyed the live music in the courtyard. Fun place!
Food ok, not worth prices charged.
Thought it was okay. Disappointing that our server decided not to ask us if we would like desert or after dinner drink. I was told the burger was good. My grilled yellow tail snapper was good.
The food is solid but service was lacking a bit when were we there. I think they were understaffed though, so I wouldn't assume that it's always like that. I split the Sauteed Snapper Piccata and the Seared Cauliflower dishes with someone and they were both delicious. I also tried the Clam Chowder, but it was not very good - not creamy enough for me. Overall, this place is a good value for your money and worth checking out!
Food was good.
Terri made our dining experience fabulous.
Food was good overall but it was very expensive . I would not say the food and ambiance is worth the expense. Now what will say the cost is consistent with other restaurants in that general vicinity
I have been to Ridgway once before and enjoyed it. But this time we left disappointed. The service was just so-so, our waitress did not have much of a table side manner, and really JUST took our orders. When my husband asked if there were any specials, she flatly said, "just what is on the menu". No friendliness, no smile, didn't seem all that happy to be there, to be honest.
I ordered the Seared Cauliflower, which I had not ordered before. It was served with a Farro risotto. The cauliflower was very bland, and the risotto also was bland. I don't think there was any salt used and very few herbs (Vegetarian doesn't have to be tasteless!)
My son ordered the Red Snapper with remoulade, with Mac and Cheese as a side. Again the Mac and cheese had no flavor. and the remoulade was no where to be found....I've never seen my teenage son salt his food before. This was a first.
My husband ordered the burger, with a side caesar. The burger, he said was really good, and it looked fantastic.
So, would i run back when theres so many good options to eat in Naples? Likely no. Unfortunate, though, it was quite good the first time we went.
Went to dine with friends. (4 people) This is our new favorite. We had greeat service (Patrick) and very tasty food. Meatloaf, Pomodoro pasta and Hangar steak were the entrees we picked. Salads were mozzarella and tomato, ceasar and artisinal. Portions a very nice size. All were excellent. Will definitely return.
We had early bird special 2 items for $26. The choices were poor, I ordered a Skirt Steak, I think it was pre-cooked there was an unnatural look to it. Mussels app. I sent back they tasted old and had sand in them. The wine list is meant for the 1%. There must be better food after 6pm....I hope! Servers all over and ours was handling too many tables to give good service. Nice place, we might have hit a bad night, or?
A little disappointing. Expected a higher quality. Given the options available in Naples don't believe we'll be going back.
Over priced for less than average food. We won’t be going back.
Great experience - we had dinner with friends who were visiting from out of town. Everybody raves about their meals.
Beautiful garden ambience. A large party came in after we were seated and it became very noisy. The server was terrific. My wife had a Crab Avocado stack which was very tiny. She loved it. I had the Honeycutt Salad which supposedly came with grilled chicken. I found 4 pieces of tiny cubed chicken. We both had iced teas and shared a chocolate Sunday. The bill before tip was $52. I suddenly remembered why we stopped going there for lunch years ago.
We brought visiting friends to Ridgway for dinner. As always, Ridgway met our expectations. Good food and service. This is our favorite restaurant in Naples. We go as often as we can.
Creative menu and excellent service in a casual atmosphere
The service and food were very good. Phillip was very attentive and efficient.
I was disappointed in the table for 4. There were at least 6 others available out of the traffic pattern.
I ordered the grouper with mango salsa. Very poor presentation. Mango salsa was served in a small bowl on the same plate with the grouper and eggplant. Cold plate; lacked any presentation. My friend had the chicken which was passable, but the vegetables with it were at room temperature and the string beans were limp.
Consistently good food and service. A wide range off menu options- some not typical of south Florida restaurants
Food and service were great. Our server was both knowledgeable and helpful. I made the reservation on Open Table and we were seated in the bar area. They could not change our table and stated if we did not want to sit in the bar we should have stated that in the reservation. I think they should state the only available seating was in the bar.
$10.00 for greens 31.00 for 3 LITTLE pieces of parmesan eggplant ( with no eggplant to be seen )an a piece of sauted grouper that looked like it was boiled...Just a little overpriced and not presented well.
Disappointed ...has always been great, go for dinner not late lunch/early dinner obviously the head cook is different!
Just so average ... there are better options on the Third street
I frequent Ridgeway (Feb 26 which is this review, Feb 23, Feb 18, etc). Upon checking in, the hostess asked a gentleman to take us to our table. The table was fine, but I had indicated a preference for a garden table instead of a deck table. I very politely asked the gentleman seating us if he could move us to one of the empty tables below in the garden. The gentleman abruptly lifted the menus and started mumbling under his breath as he stormed back got the hostess stand. He was obviously so incredibly put out by the normal and polite request. I suggest to management at Ridgeway that the gentleman is in the wrong industry and certainly in the worst possible role given his temperament. The issue is not whether we got another table or not but the response to the request. The food, waiter, cadence of food arrival at the table, etc were all good as usual. Ridgeway needs to reconsider if the gentleman will continue as one of the first "faces" and impressions for the restaurant. While I plan eventually return to Ridgeway, I think I'll take some time off.
This place never disappoints. A great crowd and the live music is so enjoyable. Always a fun night out with visitors.
Nice spot - well established restaurant for many years with consistently good food and a nice environment.
As always food was very good, Waiter service was quite slowbut improved once entries were ordered
Service was grade A and the food was great. Loved that it was quiet and lunch crowd seemed to be gone and happy hour was in another area. One of the best times ever.
Had a disappointing experience. Food was average and the service was below par, server was brand new (second night). Our previous experiences had been good so this was disappointing.
Consistently good food and service at reasonable prices
E had an excellent meal.
We enjoyed fresh seafood and tasty comfort food in a pleasant outdoor setting
Had a reservation for Sunday brunch 2/25/18. Were seated promptly and offered a choice of locations, inside or outside. The food was great especially the hamburger, best I have ever had. French toast was also excellent. Crab Cake on the eggs benedict was to small for the price. Service was a tad slow...will return again.
