We have been going to Ridgways for many years when we are in Naples, FL, and never have had a bad meal. The ambiance is wonderful for either indoor or outdoor dining. Owner/chef Tony Ridgway is always there to keep things running smoothly. The wait staff is experienced and attentive. They offer many interesting craft cocktails and have a good wine list. This visit we started with mussels—excellent preparation and great bread. I had the sautéed grouper and my husband had snapper piccata. Both were delicious. We finished off by splitting the house specialty dessert for many years—a lovely moist carrot cake.

Our waiter was excellent! Food was delicious but the manager David at 5:00 was rude. I booked on open table and asked for garden seating. He told me because I booked on your site there was no seating available in the garden. So we sat at a table in the terrace and saw two empty tables almost up until we paid our Bill. He looked down on us for booking with Open Table. Did not appreciate being treated that way.
We had lunch with an out-of-town couple. The outside garden area and terraces along the front of the restaurant are lovely. (we sat on the terrace). Everyone loved their food choices. I had the salmon with farro salad. Outstanding!
I love the atmosphere at Ridgeway. They have lots of outdoor seating and the food is amazing!
We loved sitting outside on the patio in February! We thoroughly enjoyed the blackened fish tacos, yummy fries and rose!

We truly enjoyed our dinner. The waiter brought our drinks and provided us the time to relax and enjoy them before ordering. His recommenations were spot on. He was quiet and respectful and there when we needed him.
The short ribs were tender and cooked to perfection, sitting in natural juices and on delicious mashed potatoes. We ordered sauteed greens which were Swiss Chard and spinach in a delicate butter sauce. The piece de resistence entailed profiteroles with home-made chocolate sauce-a French delight.

I arrived for my 5pm reservation and was seated quickly on the porch overlooking the uncovered outdoor seated area...a very nice atmosphere...quiet...nicely appointed. My server welcomed me quickly, took my drink order, returned with my drink relatively quickly and informed me of the specials. I ordered and was quickly served (one of the specials of the day) cup of crab soup. It was a bit tangy goodness. The provided rolls were warm and light. My meal, veal scaloppine was ok...a bit chewy (I was hoping for "melt in your mouth" goodness) covered with sautéed onions and green peppers with a nice tasting pan sauce on the plate . To complete the meal, I had a double espresso...very nice though since I can't have sugar wanted sweet n low...none to be had. Used another "sweetener"...Overall, the service was stellar, the ambiance was calm and relaxing and the food was ok...I observed many who appeared to be regulars who definitely appeared to be enjoying themselves. I recommend going to Ridgway Bar and Grill...enjoy the vibe and explore the tastes.
A beautiful patio with designer umbrellas by day and many vertical heaters to take any chill off.
Appetizers include blistered shirts peppers and skillet cooked castlevetrano olives with a little garlic.
Perfectly prepared Scottish with a sautéed vegetable medley. Chicken pot pie is a fine restaurant masterpiece, with take home portion.
Dinner was terrific I had the mussels for an appetizer. The grouper I ordered was blackened and cooked to perfection. I had an Keylime tart for dessert which was superb. Our server Zooey was outstanding. He was very careful to explain different dishes on the menu and assist me in making my selection. He was very attentive and a terrific server. We had a wonderful dining experience can’t wait to come back soon
Fantastic in every aspect! Our new favorite place to have lunch, enjoy great food and a nice bottle of wine! You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely place; would have enjoyed outdoor patio seating for livelier atmosphere. Server was wonderful — and still very gracious & efficient although we were there only for a drinks & starter/appetizers.
Everything was spot on. Our server tended to be MIA until we went to pay the bill. Then he wouldn’t leave until we paid. Not your usual help
We dined on Valentine’s Day in the Garden. From the moment we were seated to the moment we departed our experience was absolutely delightful. The food was wonderful and service impeccable. We were not rushed and felt very comfortable with the distancing of tables and all servers wore masks. It was an absolutely lovely evening. Thank You Ridgway!!

Staff are wearing masks appropriately (meaning over the nose) which is important in these days. That is very important to us.

We had a terrific outside table and felt very safe in regard to COVID protocols... the Grapefruit Margarita was very good as that’s The Godfather cocktail.
The beet salad was very good, different as it had sliced cheese in it. The mozzarella and tomato salad was also very nice.
I had the Panko shrimp appetizer for my meal... five shrimp with a cucumber salad... it was perfect for an entree for me. The meatloaf was very good. The Parkerhouse rolls were gigantic and very tasty.... four good sized rolls in an order. The lime tart was excellent for dessert.
One of the highlights was our server, James. So pleasant and personable! And takes pride in what he does! They are lucky to have him at Ridgeway... he’s an asset to the dining experience.
Very disappointed. We frequent this restaurant. We made a reservation 3 weeks ahead and were told no problem with garden seating because we were reserving so far in advance. We were not in the garden , not on the porch , not inside at a nice table. We were given the worst table in the restaurant and when we asked for a different table we were told “perhaps we made our reservation too late and they were very busy” !
This is an attractive restaurant in a beautiful area in downtown Naples however parking is very difficult especially near sunset with people parking for the beach and all of the restaurants. The menu is extensive, however our meals were very average and not inexpensive. It’s easy to find more delicious food in Naples in various settings.
Had a reservation. Arrived a few minutes early. Politely asked for an outside table (they have a big outside and garden area). Had my head bitten off by the woman at the desk who in an angry and condescending voice told me we hadn't reserved one. All I did was ask! With the same tone she turned to one of the seaters and sent us away. I've checked Ridgeway's web site and on Open Table and there's nothing about reserving a table outside. Many restaurants on Open Table and Rest allow you to specific outside.
The food was excellent, although a little pricy, and so was the service. But our enjoyment of the outing was destroyed by the greeter. We ate quickly and left. Oh, by the way, most of the outside tables were still empty.
Perhaps Ridgeway's thought we were tourists and wouldn't be back but guess what? We live in Naples.
We appreciated the safe distances between tables and the BLT was delicious. It’s a well run restaurant with good reliable food.
