First time at Rick’s. Food was excellent. Had the tuna and it was nicely prepared. Had the nachos for an appetizer with a colleague and it was even more than we could consume. Probably good for sharing for 4 people so you don’t ruin your appetite.
A very good evening. Good food, great desert, good service.
Always a good choice. This is the only place, I can find Maine lobster that is done right. Great choices on the menu, not just for sea food. Really great Cuban cream Brule. It is our go to place, always.
Had a great time with my wife enjoying Valentine's day. We enjoyed a late evening dessert and drink. The mud pie was awesome! The best part about Rick's Boatyard has to be the outside seating but in February, in Indiana, that was not gonna happen. We've been to Rick's before and as always, the service was great and the people were friendly. It was enjoyable and we had a great time.
Valentine’s Day. Food was delicious and server was prompt and friendly.
The food was exceptional, the waiter was extraordinary and very attentive, but not over bearing. We had a truly enjoyable time, especially with it being so busy with Valentines Day too.
Do not enjoy the seating upstairs.
We had wonderful and romantic evening with fabulous service and great food
Great time, great food!
As always the food and service at Rick's was excellent. However, someone thought it was a great idea to open up the second floor for dining without serious attention to the ambience, comfort or seating arrangement. After you climb the stairs, the tables at the top of the stairs are in darkness. The furniture is some kind of outdoor stuff (wood folding chairs) that are very uncomfortable. The tables near the windows (only on one side of the room) are arranged so you are seated as if you are sharing a table with the people next to you and only the people facing the windows can see any view as everyone else has their back to them. In the future we will always decline being seated upstairs, as several customers did that night, unless some extreme updates are made. This really ruined our romantic Valentine's Day atmosphere. Terrible!!
They never disappoint with service or food.
The grouper, big eye tuna, and the blue crab ravioli were amazing! The smoked salmon nachos were so-so. The flavors didn’t seem to go together.
Overall everything was good. My only gripe was the wait time. What's the purpose in having reservations if you still have to wait 45 minutes?
The food was incredible and our service great. Went to celebrate a birthday and our party had a great time.
Had a great time can't wait to return in the summer to enjoy the view
Didn't get our table by the windows we requested. Food was excellent as always but our waiter was very slow!
Mediocre at best. Could use an upgrade.
Enjoyed all that we ordered, fish & chips, salmon roulade & cajun catfish. Our server was very helpful with suggestions. Location, right on Eagle Creek is lovely, even on a gray day. Meals are reasonable, especially the lunch specials.
Celebrating a birthday, the dish I ordered was inedible. It was grilled plum glazed shrimp and there was a thin shell on each piece. The shrimp was too sticky to peel, it was awful. We sat in the bar for the best view, but the party behind us was loud and we couldn’t carry on a conversation. Then to top it off I get an email from open table that I missed my appointment. Did I get points for this? Rick’s has the atmosphere but they need to step up their food to equal the high prices
A comfortable setting to enjoy celebrating retirement was enhanced by well prepared food, served by a seasoned wait staff.
