My wife and I decided at the last minute to stop into Rick’s. Normally we like to go when the weather is warm and you can sit outside but it was very cold but we really wanted their pizzas. She likes the BBQ chicken and I got just a plain cheese pizza. Both are great but you have to like thin crust pizza. We also got Rico’s Dip as an appetizer. We really like it although it is a lot for two people. We have a great dinner and an enjoyable evening.

Rick’s has a great Sunday Brunch menu, also serving the regular menu too. Casual atmosphere with upscale service and menu.

It was not unusually not busy so we were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner. And am grateful we did not feel like we needed to rush.

A great lunch with friends with service that was perfect. Amber was there when we needed her, but never intrusive for our lingering conversation. The salmon roulade was amazing!

Awesome food as usual. Had their Sunday brunch. Sat by fireplace. Service at the dining table is amazingly better than the bar area for some reason. In my experience, the bartenders are ALWAYS in a bad mood and are only attentive to certain customers. Initially we were going to be seated in the bar but I asked to be seated by the fireplace and the experience was much more enjoyable!

Have dined here a few times before and enjoyed. Waitress was in a hurry all night but was OK, it was busy. Ordered a $40 plate that included shrimp, scallops, and a small lobster tail. Lobster tail was not even close to being done. I alerted the waitress and she said she would speak to the manager to see what could be done. She came back with the bill and took a $10 glass of wine off. I noticed the table next to me had also spoken to the manager and I saw them discussing an underdone lobster tail as well. I asked to speak to the manager who strolled up to the table and I explained that my lobster tail, the main portion of my meal, was severely under-cooked and not edible. He said the waitress had shown him, he acknowledged the lobster was under-cooked, and said he took a glass of wine off . I explained that I was not happy with paying $40 for essentially 2 shrimp and he said he said he took a glass of wine off and would not do anything else, what else did I want him to do, and walked off. His smugness and overall lack of care or concern for my experience was honestly appalling to me, my wife, and the couple we were dining with, I was stunned. Hey thanks for eating that $3 cost to you for my $40 plate of under-cooked shellfish. I wish I had gotten his name but whoever the manager on duty on Saturday night, Jan 6, needs to find a new career because customer service is not his forte. I will NEVER spend another dime at Rick's Cafe Boatyard and will most certainly let everyone I know about the awful customer service experience I had.

Great food and service. More time should be allowed between courses. Salads should not arrive immed immediately after appetizer, nor should main entree arrive before salads are finished. Felt rushed even though restaurant was not that busy.
