My guest (all 100 pounds of her), is in a wheelchair, which I was pushing. I had a VERY difficult time getting up the ramp, through the twists and turns of the temporary entrance and over the threshold into the restaurant. She is 78 years old and this WAS her favorite restaurant, going back to when Rick's Americana was in Union Station. We had a reservation and were seated quickly at a nice table by the window. Her breakfast arrived cold and she ate very little of it. She was offered a box to carry out the leftovers but no one inquired as to why she didn't eat her food. No manager was checking on diners. As we were leaving, my guest asked me help her get to the restroom. When faced with using an unheated outhouse for a restroom, she said it would be her last trip to Rick's. Thanks for the memories.

They are renovating so not very nice getting inside. Will be great in spring when reno is complete. Still had nice dinner with the family.

Our table ordered the Walleye, Sirloin, and a Five Pepper Pasta/Chicken dish. Our meals were delicious, service was excellent, my only complaint we had to walk through a construction zone to get to and fro through the restaurant. Didn't know there is a major remodel going on, would have opted for another venue if I had known.

They should have made it known when making the reservation that they were under construction and no indoor bathrooms were available. Our waitress did not return to offer more drinks. Only return with the check. Poor service.

In the last month, we have been sat at a table (for eight) near the door to the outdoor seating (some type of floor heaters are used) where the servers go back and forth. TOO COLD! Ugh! We consider Rick’s to be more than a mediocre dining experience, paying higher than a typical bar type restaurant. All of the cold air coming in (briskly) makes us not want to go back. We will make sure we are seated away from the door next time.

My family and I had reservations for 6:45 PM on thanksgiving and were seated by 6:55 PM. Our waitress was awesome she was able to give her personal or other past guests opinion about any dish that we asked about. Which was awesome when dealing with the picky eaters that were in my party. She was patient and made it happen when it came to splitting our bill up the way which is always complicated. I would recommend Rick’s to anyone looking for excellent customer service which is hard to find these days

Thanksgiving is a busy time so we were please to get our family of 5 in at 6PM on Thanksgiving Day. Sadly we were seated right next to the patio door so as it remained open most of the evening, there was a very cold wind coming directly onto our table. This made the experience less than inviting but we were told this was the best table available. Our server, obviously very busy, did the best he could. Dinners were delivered before the bread & evidently they were short on napkins because I had to use mine to soak up some alcohol overflow on a drink he prepared table side & asked for another but it was a long time coming. The traditional turkey dinner was excellent & had lots of food on it (turkey & gravy, mashed potatoes & sage stuffing, cranberry sauce & green beans with sautéed onions, rolls & butter & either pumpkin pie or key lime pie). Very nice for $33. Chicken parm looked excellent & was huge. Salad also looked delicious. Very busy spot & they are in the midst of a huge remodel so the entrance is a bit long & all the restrooms are outside in trailers. We were told the entire restaurant will close for a couple of weeks in January due to the remodel.

Always very noisy, preventing conversation. And with the renovations, fancy port-a-potties were in use, with all toilets overflowing. Terrible way to end a great meal.

The service was excellent, heavy crowd and well managed. The turkey tasted like a processed turkey loaf you would find in the frozen section of the grocery store, not like turkey cooked in the oven and served fresh. The start of the meal was the green beans. Sadie, our waitress was great and attentive.

Excellent food and service with a beautiful view. We started with bacon wrapped scallops and crab stuffed mushrooms which were over the top! I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the king crab linguine. It was loaded with crab in a rich and creamy sauce! We will definitely be back!

Went here on Thanksgiving for the second year in a row. Amazing food with a beautiful view of the Eagle Creek Reservoir. Full menu available along with their Thanksgiving holiday specials. It was amazing watching the staff handle the full restaurant as we enjoyed our dining experience from the appitizer thru the main course to dessert . I highly recommend Rick's !

Had a good meal for value and Emma provided us with great table service. A little disruption and confusion due to renovations but otherwise a nice dining experience. Opted to sit on their heated enclosed deck which was nice way to relax and dine on a blue sky sunny day. Thank you!

This was a fantastic experience! We decided to go out for Thanksgiving dinner and Rick's did not disappoint! Our server Sadie was always on top of things but not intrusive. We will definitely do this again.

My 95 year old mother got the Thanksgiving turkey meal and said it was good- all except the pie. Thr pumpkin pie had a lot to be desired. The rest of us ordered off the menu and it was very good. Would definitely go back but when the remodeling is done as the outdoor bathrooms were cold!

Our waitress messed up several orders. In doing so, she overcharged us for the messed up items. We did have a party of 7, however the restaurant was not very busy at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. Our visit this time, was just mediocre. It'll be a while before we return to Ricks.

Waiter was wonderful in the beginning and during the meal. But as my date and I were talking and getting to know one another, the waiter seemed to be getting slightly impatient for me to pay the bill as it was getting late but well before closing time. No biggie but that was the only downside of the experience. Again the food was excellent.

Second time here and it was alright. Our server seemed like she’d much rather be anywhere else but working and we felt it. It was in the 40s outside and the heated patio was not as warm as it could be until about 7pm when the lights turned on. Food was very average, and I expected more from Rick’s. Drinks were great. That was the best part of the dinner. I spent about $60 that evening and it was just OK.

This location is currently under construction. No notification, doesn't answer their phone. Plus their entry access is difficult and to the ladies restroom. The Manager was rude when our waitress suggested and asked for a fee reduction on a meal, because chicken breast was overly cooked. The Manager's reason: meal was half eaten. This Restaurant has lost 3 long-time customers. It apparently doesn't care about their them. - A Rude Manager with a Poor Attitude, who does not have enough time to apologize to the customer for the over-cooked food served at this restaurant!!!

We went to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent. Left overly full and still brought home leftovers. We started with Rick’s dip which was devoured. Our entrees were fantastic. My oldest ordered the short ribs with risotto and glazed carrots which she had never had glazed carrots before and was impressed. My husband ordered the pork chops and raved. I had a bite, they had great flavor. To round it out, my youngest had the burger and ate it all and I had the crab cakes with wild rice and asparagus. This is our second time here and plan to come back again. The prices feel a little high for some things but for the fact that I had leftovers tells you they don’t skimp on the servings.

Perfect timing at sunset. Appetizers were salty with the bacon. The fish was cold and had to be rewarmed and the desert was rather tough to cut with a spoon.

Wish I had known construction was going on, very loud for our older parents to be able to hear, we brought for their birthdays. Also wish I had known out side had heaters we would have moved.
