Lovely experience. Seafood was cooked perfectly. We ordered the mussels, scallops and salmon. All dishes were well cooked and seasoned. Service overall was excellent. Will definitely return on our next trip to Vegas.
The service is excellent and they go above and beyond
We were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. The hostess welcomed us with anniversary greetings, but no one else.
Uncomfortable chairs. Overpriced food. But it's Vegas.
Our favorite seafood restaurant in all of Las Vegas!
Rice Crispy, lobster rolls and ice cream sampler!!!!
Amazing food and service from an incredible team led by Top Chef Master Rick Moonen!
As always, an amazing dinning experience! Swordfish was unreal and that's not close to my favorite fish.
I have gone here so many times over several years. This was the first time I was disappointed. Not sure what happened to the menu, but the selection has really changed - and not for the better. There is no way to say eating here is a value, as prices are for "the rich and famous." Sad to say, I will probably not be back. I love seafood and this is now NOT the place to go in Vegas.
Delicious fish, but since we don't eat shell fish we had few options!
When we checked in, we were asked about food allergies, which I conveyed. Apparently this info was not passed on to the server because every dish he recommended for me contained the allergen. the first - a salad - was full of fresh ginger, to which I am highly allergic. Once I conveyed this to the server, he quickly adjusted and had the chef prepare the fish I had orderd without the ginger sauce and a substitute for the rice, which also had ginger.
I would expect information about food allergies gathered upon check-in to be passed to the wait staff. The failure do so made my experience less enjoyable and also put me at risk. Make sure to tell wait staff so they are aware and can accomodate allergies.
Other than this, the food was delicious as always.
Loved my special of lobster, shrimp, scallops risotto. Scallops entree was great. Salmon ok. Swordfish ok. Salads were delicious. It was a nice place to eat before seeing Michael Jackson One. I would go back, but I don’t think the salmon and swordfish eaters would...especially for the price.
We love the $28 three course lunch special. The black bean seared edamame is outstanding.
We felt rushed and the scallops were not enjoyable. I didn’t like the seasoning. I also didn’t like the bread. I would have preferred a hard crusted Italian or French bread. It was rude for them to turn on bright lights at 11 on the dot.
Over priced. Meal was not good. Very disappointed.
We had a great time. Food and service was great. Steaks and seafood were delicious.
There are many seafood restaurants to visit in Vegas but RM Seafood stands above them all. The service is top notch and you won't find better prepared fish anywhere. The True North Salmon was cooked to perfection with the skin charred and inviting, sitting atop a delicious serving of rice with Quail Eggs topped with Salmon Roe while the catch of the day Lousiana Redfish over veggies in a vinagarette made your palate tingle with taste. A bowl of Steamed Clams in what they call their Vampire Garlic Sauce was so good that using a soup spoon to devour the sauce was pure decadence. Rick was in the house and having the chance to visit and speak to him for a minute was a real treat.
The service was good. Friendly and tentative staff. Only two cooked fish items for a seafood restaurant; salmon and Louisiana redfish. No privacy for a table of 2. I don’t like the seating.
Our favorite restaurant in Vegas! The food is wonderful. Sushi and Oysters are incredibly fresh. Service is always spot on.
We ate from the brunch menu on Saturday. Both meals were very good, and the service was great. The Key Lime Pie for dessert was excellent.
Love this restaurant! The food is always amazing and the service is outstanding. Love the fact that you can actually hold a conversation and hear the other members of your party. It's a great comfortable place to eat at Mandalay Bay!
Terrific service. Very good food. The best key lime pie in Vegas
Very disappointed in this meal. Overpriced, and the food wasn't very good. Service was terrible.
Unfortunately, anyone who had the spicy tuna got ill later that evening
Was in town for a convention and found this jewel of a restaurant. We first enjoyed the oyster sampler which was fantastic. I had the Surf and Surf and cannot remember a better meal. My associates had a steak and the crab dishes and said they were both delicious. Definitely will return if back in the area.
This is a great find in Vegas at Mandalay Bay! Huge portions and very delicious! The staff was second to none.
The food was good, service was not good. We had a large group so it appeared that the staff didn’t feel the need to check on us or bring drinks in a timely manner because we would have to pay a 20% service charge regardless.
The Chefs and Staff obviously care about your experience. They were friendly, helpful and provided a delicious meal. Great selection of quality oyesters and their two fresh catch specials were amazing. Would highly recommend.
Every time we visit Las Vegas we love to go to Rick Moonen's RM Seafood. The oysters are incredibly delicious. Each item we have tried has been delicious. The service is very good.
Wife ordered whole Sea Bass. It was butchered in the kitchen where it as boned. Someone has absolutely no idea how to bone a fish! Plus, it was over-cooked, the meat was mush.
The food was great and the service provided by CJ was outstanding!
Food was great. Mojitos were great. Service was attentive and informative. Great experience. Would definitely come back again.
Had a late lunch at 2pm , having just flown in. There was one other diner and lots of supervising staff but our server seemed rushed off her feet. We had a half dozen Oysters for starters , which was fine . We had then ordered fish and chips and the fish tacos . Everything was fresh but to be honest, I’ve had much much better at my neighbourhood pub . Having decided in this restaurant based on previous reviews, I wish I hadn’t bothered . The location leaves a lot to be desired with the only view being the escalator between the designer shop area and a very smoky Mandalay Bay casino floor.
Great Crab Cakes. Flat Iron Steak was OK. Wine selection was good. Not a fan of the high top tables
Went for lunch while at a conference. Food is great, service??? WAY TOO FAST. you know when you are being rushed and that was what was happening.
Got the "Three Course Business Lunch". It should have been labeled "express", given they brought out entree 2 minutes after appitizer, and then dessert about 4 minutes after entree.
I dealt it it for the entree, but frankly told the food server (who was not the waiter) to take back dessert.
Given our total time in the restaurant was about 45 minutes it was not like we were slow or anything.
My salad had too many raw red onions in it.
EXCELLENT. Solid 4.5 stars. YES, we would go back. Nice job. DETAILED VERSION: Although we are locals from Vegas, this was only our 2nd time to RM Seafood. We expected a very good to excellent meal and we were not disappointed. SERVICE: We made last minute reservations through OpenTable and were seated at a bar table by request. Service was very good with just the right amount of attention to enhance a nice meal. WINE/COCKTAILS: We started with a cocktail and then both had wine by the glass. Wine list is heavier on California/Oregon wines, and the selection is better than most. Some unique wines on the list you wouldn't normally find elsewhere. FOOD: Kept it simple with Clam Chowder, Shrimp Cocktail, Surf and Turf Roll, and Dorade whole fish. Excellent on all. Yummy - we would order them again. The rest of the menu we will try over time. OVERALL: A pleasant surprise - a nice place in Mandalay Bay for a seafood meal. Prices are a bit upscale but hey - this is not a Red Lobster. YES, we would go back.
How they are rated as a 4 star restaurant is beyond me. Fish suggested to be fresh was frozen, then prepared. The clam chowder had very few clams, bits of bacon or evidence of potatoes, oily surface. My wife's chicken in a doughy crust was under cooked; chicken meat was pink and undercooked. The lobster term adore was terrible and then you had to pay a $100 for bottle of $25.00 wine to wash it down.
It was our best meal while in Las Vegas. I would definitely return.
This was my second time to this restaurant and the food was great again. They seated me right away with my reservation - the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening.
