I recommend highly the live main lobster, thermidor preparation. The creamy rich flavor is unmatched. The wine list is easily navigated on an ipad mini. If you're looking for elegant dining, and delicious food this is the place to go!

This place is very romantic. The layout is cozy, nice decor and lighting, and the background music is perfect! This and the magnificently prepared meal makes this my favorite place for a fine meal in Greenville!

The food was wonderful and the ambiance was great. The waiter was very professional as well, but we were shocked by the long wait for our table (nearly an hour).

We made a reservation for seven people at 9pm on a Friday evening. We got out of Jerry Seinfeld's standup at the theater across the street at 8:45pm. We got to the restaurant, checked in, and waited patiently.

It took nearly an hour before we were finally seated, but the strangest part was that many of the tables in the restaurant were clean an empty! Why did they not seat us when they had so many open tables, and what exactly is the point of a reservation when you have to wait an hour for your table?!

My wife &I had friends come in from out of town to see Jerry Seinfeld at the Peace Center. They had read about Greenville being an emerging foodie city and the great downtown experience. Nantucket Seafood Grill was a natural choice for dinner since it's accross the street. Food was fantastic as always. Our group had grilled salmon, oysters, crab cakes, & steak. All were prepared to perfection. Our server (Gary) was possibly the best server I've had in 20 years. We highly recommend NSG.

My husband and I had a reservation for 8pm. When we arrived at the hostess stand there were 3 girls, none of which had a clue about what was going on. Once one of them looked up, we were told it would be about a 5 minute wait. We were seated at 8:40pm! Once our waiter showed up ...about 5 minutes after we were seated we told him we had tickets to a 9:30pm show at the Peace Center and asked what the wait time would be for our food. He was kind enough to check with the kitchen and told us there were approximately 20 tickets ahead of us. Disappointed, we left since there was not enough time before our show to even get an appetizer. Evidently this restaurant can take a reservation, but they cannot hold the reservation!

We had tickets to a show and the hostess sat us 35 minutes later than our reservation which resulted in our not being able to order the entrees we wanted due to the time needed to prepare them. However, without havi g to complain, we found when our check arrived we had been comped for our inconvenience. Class act! It turned a "never coming back" to a "wow! Great customer service and will recommend". The food was incredable so no regrets on the order.

Everything was great except waitress seemed like she must have been very new to the job. In this case the service was adequate but nothing special.
I've been to Nantucket a few other times and service was excellent. So I will definitely continue to patron Nantucket.

This may just be the best dining experience in Greenville. I have never had anything there that I felt was merely adequate. Every dish I've ever had at Nantucket has blown me away! There are many other restaurants downtown in the same price range and with similar offerings but you'll never be disappointed at Nantucket. The food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing. The owner, Rick Erwin, even stopped by our table, personally, to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.

We chose Nantucket for our anniversary dinner because of our previous experiences there. Great service, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The wait staff is very attentive, friendly and polite. I mentioned it was our anniversary in my reservation. I did not know what to expect, we felt special from the start as we were brought to a booth. We were welcomed with delightful champagne for all 4 of us. We received a Happy Anniversary card from the staff. Our dessert arrived with candles and Happy Anniversary cookies. The staff at Nantucket grill were charming and we indeed did feel as we had a special dinner. BTW, dinner was great, we had a variety from the menu. The favs were the shrimp and grits and the special.

Overall the experience was very nice. Our service attendant got confused when we told him we were going to order one entry and a soup. He did not deliver soup thinking it was my wife's entry. When it was delivered it had no spoon to use, had to go ask for a spoon. We had surf & turf. The turf was good the surf was bland like it may have been under cooked.

We walked in to inquire about a reservation since we couldn't locate this restaurant on opentable & with the HELP of Frank & the lovely hostess we were able to make a reservation for dinner at 7PM. This restaurant isn't on the main drag in downtown Greenville & I am elated we found this little gem. Frank mentioned he would personally take care of us for our dinner. I truly wish I was able to have more characters to write about Frank's top notch service &recommendations & food. The food was outstanding & the wine list is extensive but unintimidating. Dessert was amazing!! I had the Scallops and the huband had fish and the clam chowder -- all was out of this world! Presentation, price and taste all get 100+! you won't want to miss this one!

Rick Erwin's Nantucket Seafood is always, and I mean always, the best. The food is wonderful, ambiance is classy but not stuffy, service is impeccable, excellent wine list and prices are reasonable. I always start off with oysters on the half shell. The pan seared scallops are my favorite, my wife loves the mountain trout. What more could you ask for! Well, to top it off Rick Erwin takes the time to greet customers and make them truely appreciated and special. This is our favorite place to dine in Greenville.

Dinner for 3, Salmon, Tuna, Scallops, Wine, Soup, Salad , Desert. $220
All food flawless. Seafood tasty and perfectly cooked. Vegetables fresh and crispy. Sauces were delicate. Wine excellent. New England Clam Chowder not starchy and with a subtle tang. House salad is ok. Creme Brulee was delicious.
Staff was efficient without being overly attentive.
This was the third visit to this establishment. The first two visits were for Lobster Thermidor which was excellent the first time and not good (Food and Service) the second time.

Very beautiful restaurant, extremely romantic. Unfortunately, the 2 of us were seated beside area where all the wait staff congregates, chats, add their orders to computers. I wanted a window view w/ romance. Instead, I was distracted by the rush of waiters and waitresses in training and chatting. The food was unbelievable, our waitress was amazing, Rick came to say hello, it was a nice evening. The marrow was divine, grouper was excellent. I was impressed with the wedge salad but not pleased at all with the spinach, pear salad: overly dressed and too warm.

I will go to Nantucket again, have drinks and dinner with my husband. However, I will be much more specific re: seating request and desire to be seated in a more relaxing area.

My son visited from out of town and absolutely loved it. He was impressed with the place and more impressed with the food. He cannot wait to come back. Brad was our server and was great! Very nice, professional, listened to what we wanted and even accommodated our needs. Love Nantucket!

It is great that an outstanding restaurant is open on Monday night. Four of us drove down from NC to celebrate my wife's Birthday.
For starters we shared Blue Crab Hush Puppies (do try this really unique dish),Crispy Calamari (cooked to perfection and perhaps the best I have ever had), The Company Crab Cake (my all-time favorite), and an excellent New England Clam Chowder. I really liked the Black Grouper. My wife enjoyed the Crab Cake Entrée. and our friends said that the only Yellow Fin Tuna they enjoyed more was what they had caught. Everyone should try the Crispy Broccoli Florets.
As a country boy I had a little trouble with the electronic wine list but our waitress guided us to a couple of really nice wines. Service was great.

I must start this eval with a tribute to "New York Frank". Frank was our waiter of the evening. He to car of me and 13 of my closest friends. We truely felt welcomed by his hospitality and well pleased with his entre recommendations. Our valentines night out was a memorable one. This was all made possible by the staff of Rick Erwin's, Nantucket Seafood Grill. I will continue to celebrate all of my special occasions inside of one of Mr Erwin's beautiful restaurants. A special occasion deserves a special place, and I have found mine.

We love Nantucket. The food is always delicious and they have the best lobster in town with endless options for size and preparation. The wine list is endless. The service is great. It's a great place to stop for a drink anytime and especially before a show at the Peace Center. They have plenty of options for those who don't like seafood and the steaks are awesome.

My wife and I chose to dine here for our anniversary after it being recommend by so many friends. Nantucket did not disappoint. We both ordered the Surf and Turf and it was delicious. Our server, Hannah, made some fantastic suggestions since this was our first time and we're unfamiliar with the menu. She helped us choose appetizers, sides, and desserts. Her choices were spot on and really enhanced our dining experience. Hannah was very energetic and know led able and helped to make for a fantastic experience. We were also served by Bryce. He had such a wonderful demeanor about him and was very accommodating. The food was amazing but the people is what will bring me back!

Every time we have been to the Nantucket we have had a wonderful dining experience. The service has been professional, friendly, and not to pushy! The ambience is excellent. My meals have had a nice presentation and portions are very generous without being excessive.

I have recommended the Nantucket to many of my friends...as an older couple we enjoy the quietude and impeccable service...sometimes as important as the meal itself.

We'll come again!!

i used to Dine here a few times a year back and once in a while brunched with my Wife here. Food is outstanding ! Service is excellent! The only reason i do not Dine in more often is the Price. It certainly is worth it but we choose to do it only on special Occasions. I usually go for a nice Steak or for a Surf and Turf. Second to none! My Wife ones had a King Salmon that was out of this World. Wine Selection is great !

We have been to Nantucket a few times before, but this time around, apart from the exemplary service, we found things were left much to be desired. The place they seated us was so cold and was a small room towards one end that we did not quite like. They took 3 attempts to get the right drink for my kid ( a sprite ) . We wanted to try some different food this time .I went for the Ahi Tuna which turned out to be a wrong choice. Her Crab soup was great. There is nothing much here for the kids though. The mussels were good. The adult drinks were perfect and well made...though my Martini could live with a lil less vermouth !! Overall nothing to remember unlike our previous experience at the same place !!
