Nantucket is our “go to” restaurant for special events. They never disappoint.
We went for our anniversary and it was so good! The oysters crabofeller were amazing as was our surf and turf meals. We will be back!
We were seated quickly and service was great! I think the kitchen was behind a little but wee were not in a hurry. Food was delicious. Surf and turf as always cooked perfectly! The oysters were tasty but a bit small which is not really something that can be helped I guess. Such a nice venue! It’s definitely expensive for a date night but we had a gift card which was nice. The food and service made it feel like a special dinner out!
An outstanding meal was turned into a perfect dining experience by the extraordinary service and attention provided by our server Felipe who was knowledgeable of the menu and wines, attentive but not obtrusive, and demonstrated how a world-class server can elevate an experience. Bravo Rick Erwin, and thank you Felipe!
Food was mostly disappointing. The risotto was mushy (more like a paste) and the $69 lobster was clearly frozen. The preparation was very disappointing with an excess of butter and cheese literally drowning the meat and its flavor.
Servers were very nice but spread thin. Our waiter disappeared for long periods as he was juggling too many tables.
Good staff
Being a Rick Erwin’s establishment, my hopes were high. We love all the other restaurants owned by Rick Erwin. I was honestly more disappointed in this meal than any other anywhere that I can remember. The service was GREAT! But the food, not so much. Someone in our party got the oysters on the half shell and they were fantastic! Another person got the shrimp cocktail and it was delicious! My she crab soup was good too. Our calamari was not great. The calamari at Rick’s other restaurants is better. My entree was the salmon and it just tasted very fishy. I brought home a lot and ended up throwing it away. Just too fishy. My husband got the sautéed grouper and he said his was really fishy too. He didn’t even bring his leftovers home. Dessert was really good too. I have to say though, we will not be back. That meal was too expensive and so very disappointing. I’m not usually one to complain but this was just really disappointing.
Great ambiance, service and food.
Here for dinner day after thanksgiving. Three of us did the prifixe dinners. All excellant. Entree same portion size as non prifixe. Well worth. Decent wine list with reasonable prices
Great food, great service!
Our reservations were at 6:15. We told our server that we had theater tickets at 8:00. He said that would be no problem. Our food arrived at 7:30.
My salad was to be dairy free (allergy). The tomatoes were dotted with something white (possibly blue cheese) and the bacon which was requested to be extra crispy was congealed. Needless to say I didn’t eat it and had no time to send it back since it arrived so late.
This will not be at the top of my list of Greenville restaurants.
My husband took me here for my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the 3 course meal and it was lovely. The cocktails were just perfect and our waiter was the ultimate professional. Ambience and lighting was just right as you could read the menus. Oh and parking was not a problem as well. We will be back again!
Wonderful date night!
Wonderful date night dinner for a mom and dad weekend getaway!
We like to visit Nantucket during the year but especially when the ice skating is going on. It puts us in the holiday mood.
Our waiter was excellent. He recommended a good wine and certain dishes. It was a wonderful experience.
Great Service and atmosphere. Wine list excellent. Menu extremely heavy and formulaic . No healthy options available.
Outstanding experience at Nantucket. Stuffed Flounder special was phenomenal. Shrimp w/Bacon & Blue Cheese appetizer was off the charts - we ordered a second. Mali is a super server.
Great experience and my clients loved it.
Everyone treated use with great care.
Thanks.
It was my birthday and we had a great meal, oysters, she crab soup, Chopin o and the seafood trio. All excellent!
The main ingredients-- salmon, scallops, chicken--were very good. The side dishes were meh. The big blob of greens under my salmon, and the few squash (?) pieces, were pretty underwhelming. I expected WAY better. This restaurant would not be on my list the next time friends come to visit.
As always, service and food were good. We had the trout and shrimp. Complimentary potato chips were great.
One of our favorite restaurants in Greenville. These folks do it right!
Great waiter and rick came snd said hello to us which he has done that several times before which is a sign of a great restauranteur...
We did not receive the table we requested online and our service was not completely accurate on orders. We love Nantucket’s and typically take out of town guests there for a special evening in downtown Greenville.
However, we will be back to enjoy the excellent cuisine and ambience.
Going to a concert after dinner. Food was great. High quality. I asked for sauce on side and lemon plate arrived as I asked. Excellent server. Not intrusive at all yet affable and made good conversation at the right moments.
Great visit. Staff was very attentive and informed. Food was excellent as always. A great dining experience.
This was our first visit since moving to this area. Every aspect of our first time there was more than we expected. Superb!
This was our first visit to Rick Erwin's Nantucket Seafood. We had a wonderful time and a fantastic meal. We'll be back as soon as possible.
As usual, always a wonderful experience. Great food, excellent service.
Fabulous evening to celebrate our anniversary.
Our experience was fantastic! We had an exceptional anniversary dinner. Great service, outstanding food. Would highly recommend!
My husband had the bouillabaisse and loved it so much he took what was left back to hotel. He never does that.
THis is the 3rd dining experience at this restaurant. I always enjoyed it before but this time I found the food average and expensive. I ordered the flounder special stuffed with Alaskan King Crab. The presentation was very nice, but the fish was very bland and over cooked. The staff, however, is very attentive and the ambiance fine. The location across from the Peace Center is very convenient.
Nice restaurant and convenient to the Peace Center, however, the food was not as good as I thought it would be.
As always everything was well done. Highly recommend the Sunday brunch menu.
I ordered the surf and turf with a broiled lobster tail. My filet wasn't seasoned well but it was cooked perfectly.
Crab cake was delicious ! Mine and my friends steak were way over cooked . I sent mine back, (she put ketchup on hers) and the replacement steak was much better . We had an order of macaroni that was skipped over when brining the food out and it took a while to get it , we were almost done eating when it came out . We had several people at our table that ran out of drinks multiple times . To be honest the service nor food was what we expect and normally get at Rick Erwin’s Eastside .
Asked for a Manhatten -got something that resembled a old fashioned. second drink-went to bar and asked another bartender how he made manhattens. He told me his recipe-which is how I make them and this second drink was perfect. Grouper highly recommended. Mr. Erwin came by table to speak and ask about meal. He told me he uses only black grouper (which only a few restaurants know its the best) in his dish. Outstanding meal. Other downside was pink peppercorn mignonette served with the raw oysters needs some help. Not the best i've ever tasted with oysters
The food was excellent and the service very good to excellent. However we had a strange experience at checkout. The 2 couples each received checks as requested and we each presented credit cards for billing and then things fell apart. One of the checks came back with no checkout sheets to sign and was sent back. At that point we thought everything was straightened out until the manager tried contacting me later that night. Apparently the second check did not get billed back to the credit card company as it should have. After a few phone calls everything did eventually get straightened out the next day. Everybody involved was very helpful and courteous, but this was indeed a strange experience.
