Great experience and my clients loved it.
The main ingredients-- salmon, scallops, chicken--were very good. The side dishes were meh. The big blob of greens under my salmon, and the few squash (?) pieces, were pretty underwhelming. I expected WAY better. This restaurant would not be on my list the next time friends come to visit.
As always, service and food were good. We had the trout and shrimp. Complimentary potato chips were great.
One of our favorite restaurants in Greenville. These folks do it right!
Great waiter and rick came snd said hello to us which he has done that several times before which is a sign of a great restauranteur...
We did not receive the table we requested online and our service was not completely accurate on orders. We love Nantucket’s and typically take out of town guests there for a special evening in downtown Greenville.
However, we will be back to enjoy the excellent cuisine and ambience.
Going to a concert after dinner. Food was great. High quality. I asked for sauce on side and lemon plate arrived as I asked. Excellent server. Not intrusive at all yet affable and made good conversation at the right moments.
Great visit. Staff was very attentive and informed. Food was excellent as always. A great dining experience.
This was our first visit since moving to this area. Every aspect of our first time there was more than we expected. Superb!
This was our first visit to Rick Erwin's Nantucket Seafood. We had a wonderful time and a fantastic meal. We'll be back as soon as possible.
As usual, always a wonderful experience. Great food, excellent service.
Fabulous evening to celebrate our anniversary.
Our experience was fantastic! We had an exceptional anniversary dinner. Great service, outstanding food. Would highly recommend!
My husband had the bouillabaisse and loved it so much he took what was left back to hotel. He never does that.
THis is the 3rd dining experience at this restaurant. I always enjoyed it before but this time I found the food average and expensive. I ordered the flounder special stuffed with Alaskan King Crab. The presentation was very nice, but the fish was very bland and over cooked. The staff, however, is very attentive and the ambiance fine. The location across from the Peace Center is very convenient.
Nice restaurant and convenient to the Peace Center, however, the food was not as good as I thought it would be.
As always everything was well done. Highly recommend the Sunday brunch menu.
I ordered the surf and turf with a broiled lobster tail. My filet wasn't seasoned well but it was cooked perfectly.
Crab cake was delicious ! Mine and my friends steak were way over cooked . I sent mine back, (she put ketchup on hers) and the replacement steak was much better . We had an order of macaroni that was skipped over when brining the food out and it took a while to get it , we were almost done eating when it came out . We had several people at our table that ran out of drinks multiple times . To be honest the service nor food was what we expect and normally get at Rick Erwin’s Eastside .
Asked for a Manhatten -got something that resembled a old fashioned. second drink-went to bar and asked another bartender how he made manhattens. He told me his recipe-which is how I make them and this second drink was perfect. Grouper highly recommended. Mr. Erwin came by table to speak and ask about meal. He told me he uses only black grouper (which only a few restaurants know its the best) in his dish. Outstanding meal. Other downside was pink peppercorn mignonette served with the raw oysters needs some help. Not the best i've ever tasted with oysters
The food was excellent and the service very good to excellent. However we had a strange experience at checkout. The 2 couples each received checks as requested and we each presented credit cards for billing and then things fell apart. One of the checks came back with no checkout sheets to sign and was sent back. At that point we thought everything was straightened out until the manager tried contacting me later that night. Apparently the second check did not get billed back to the credit card company as it should have. After a few phone calls everything did eventually get straightened out the next day. Everybody involved was very helpful and courteous, but this was indeed a strange experience.
Everything was perfect. A wonderful evening and I will be back.
Can't get enough of Chef's awesome ceviches!!! Looking forward to returning for more outstanding food and service!
I love dining here. I am always treated so well, and the food is excellent. The hostess and waiter are wonderful, and the staff goes above and beyond to insure good service.
Wonderful meal and fabulous service
It was our anniverary- which the restaurant had been informed- all night they wished me happy birthday- even bringing the wrong dessert to the table with a candle. Food was not paired well with sides- a mix of flavors that did not go well together. The remoulade overpowered the crab cakes- which is a shame to do to jumbo lump. The sauce on the grouper had a metallic taste as if the tomato paste had not been cooked. Overall poor experience for an expensive dinner.
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Nantucket. From the moment we arrived from the hostess to the wait staff we were met with friendly folks. That’s what makes Greenville special. Seafood is our main draw to Nantucket because you will find delightfully prepared fish, shrimp, scallops, and lobster tails. Steak lovers will not be disappointed because the surf and turf filet with lobster tail was prepared perfectly.
I usually have the shrimp cocktail. It is excellent, but pricey.
Wonderful experience. Pricey for Greenville.
Fine dining in Greenville, SC. Fantastic seafood in an elegant setting. Service was perfect. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Have dined here a number of times. Generally quite good. This time both my starter and main course were just OK. For the cost, should be better than just OK.
Our fourth or fifth visit. Very good as usual. They did a good job with the martini, the flounder special was terrific, and the staff was attentive. My wife's salmon was good, but not great - she is a trained cook with some decades worth of experience. cooking very well. We will go back again.
Fantastic meal! My wife and I came here before a concert at the Peace Center - our first time at Nantucket Seafood. Kevin, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and very attentive. His assistant, Christopher, was also excellent and always made sure we had everything we needed. Then, Chef Tony came out to describe his approach to one of my favorite dishes - Lobster Thermidore! He also provided us with a complimentary ceviche appetizer which was delicious! The lobster was 10/10 ... and I'm pretty damn picky! Perfectly cooked and the sherry-based cream sauce was amazing. My compliments to everyone in the kitchen! My wife had the filet mignon surf-and-turf, which she said was excellent. Very high marks for all concerned! We'll be back!
Food very good. Mr Erwin came over and introduced himself. Class act! Phillipa was on point.
Excellent experience as is for all of Rick’s restaurants. Gary
Fantastic food and great service! Experienced ceviche for the first time—not sure about that concept in general but our entrees were outstanding!
You don't mind paying for food when it exceeds your expectations.
As good seafood as I have had anywhere. Rick Erwin stopped by the table to be sure we were satisfied and you get the impression he really wants to know. Everything from beginning to end was top shelf.
A fabulous experience all around! Thank you! Best meal and dining experience in a long time!
We went for a job promotion and let the waitress know. When we were leaving, she brought out champagne to make the experience so much more celebratory.
Mediocre restaurant at best. Server was very friendly however he was not a professional server. Staff was rolling silverware in main restaurant, clinking of the utensils was super annoying. Calamari app was not good. Salmon and surf and turf were basic. We felt like we were dining at an elegant red lobster. Sorry - just being honest!! Not worth the money - find another date spot. We likely won’t return to dine here!
