Rice & Company - Luxor Ratings and Reviews
Nice atmosphere. Sushi was excellent and Red Dragon Martini was awesome. The honey chicken was gooey and not very good and the Mongolian beef was fatey with too many large pieces of large onions. Overall great experience for sushi and drinks, but the entrees were disappointing.
The food and service was excellent as always. The portions were large and the food was well prepared. We had champagne with dinner and it was served in a delightful and professional manner. We were seated in a booth by the kitchen entrance, avoid this area if at all possible and request a table by the walkway. This is a great place for a dinner with family, a night out or an intimate setting. I highly recommend it. 👍🏽
This is a great place for a special occasion... Its a more intimate quiet setting with great service with large portions... I've been to this place a few times. the tall hostess is not very friendly and seems to have missed placed her smile but If you can ignore the first few min the other servers really step it up with lots of knowledge of the food and willingness to do anything they can to please your taste buds and time there!! The FLAVORS are WOW..!!!
Like sushi? Before you empty out three credit cards to eat in those Mandalay Bay restaurants, step down to Luxor and try the sushi at Rice and Co. Their Chinese menu is great as well, though it is far more American-Chinese than authentic. Still, if you're looking for Chinese food while staying in the exorbitantly priced south end of the Strip, Rice and Co. is a good find with prices that, while high, seem like a bargain when put next to it's competitors one hotel down. We'll be back.
We had the Prix Fixe menu dinner and loved it, great taste, very good portions, enough to share with one another and the price was right.
The wait staff took very good care of us and made sure everything was to our liking.
This was the 4th time we've eaten here and strongly recommend it to everyone.
They have wonderfully fresh sushi! We always stop here when we're in Vegas. Everything would've gotten a 5 star but for some reason this last time the service wasn't as great, the sushi wasn't as great and the overall feel just wasn't there. I'll be back to give it another try.
We were very disappointed in the food. We saw the signs around the Luxor for Rice & Company so we decided to try it since we like all types of Asian food. We were seated right away, ambiance was good enough and service was quick. We tried the Seafood Noodle Soup and General Tso's Chicken. Both came out within nearly 5 minutes (problem #1 that was too quick). The Soup was luke warm and just lacked any sort of flavor. The chicken dish looked like it had been scooped from a buffet table. It just had that "dead food" look. The taste was disappointing. I remember thinking "what a waste of my calories for the day". Total buyer's remorse.
This review s based on the quality of the sushi/sashimi. The quality of the fish was very poor. Everything we tasted was horrible. Even the grocery stores have better sushi. The service was good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was good. It was an especially disappointing evening with having paid so much for a terrible meal.
