Good, inexpensive Mexican food located off the Las Vegas strip which makes it more convenient and accessible.
Great place to take friends in from out of town. Nice to get of the strip.
We had a fun time for a reasonably priced meal. No rush to leave and friendly staff

Excellent dinner, great service
I selected Ricardo's because a friend and production partner lives and works not too far from there. I wanted to make it convenient for him to meet, but I was also curious about the place, since it was my first time. It is pretty much your classic Mexican place, exactly what I expected, though the previous places I've been to didn't have gambling at the bar - not really a huge surprise for Vegas. The Ricardo's Sampler was perfect - everything I wanted while doing business, since we did a lot more talking than eating. Things went exactly as I hoped they would, so I will definitely hope the good mojo is there when I come back for another visit. Oh, and the fact that it's open 24/7 is a HUGE plus.
Stopped in on my way to a business meeting. Never been there before, so was not aware of the buffet until after I had already ordered. The food was dry and bland. The service was sincere and decent. Not a place I will hurry back to. No discount for locals or military or veterans.
See recent submission. Ricardo’s no longer uses Open Table, which we discovered when they could not find our reservation and almost did not seat us.
Always a good meal here. It’s a locals favorite but tourists would like it as well.

We were visiting Vegas from Chicago. We were looking for a nice place to eat before going to a show on the strip but didn't want to deal with the hassles and crowds of the strip. We found Ricardo's and it had great reviews so we went. I'm very glad we did. The wait staff was very good and the food was excellent. I had the menudo and a tamale. I am Mexican and the menudo was just like dad's. The tripe was not chewy, it had a great flavor, and the ingredients included hominy and pig's feet. It came with sides of lime, cilantro, onion, and pepper flakes. Just like at home. The tamale was also very good and the margarita as well. If you are in Vegas and want a great place to eat off the strip and is not expensive and crowded. This is the place. It's on Flamingo at Decatur, only about two miles from the strip.
Very upbeat and festive atmosphere. Dining area was already decorated with Christmas theme. Service was very attentive. They answered any questions that we had. Food was served hot and quickly. Will come back again.

I would say the staff go out of their way to make sure that your well taken care of. Had great music. Was good for my Spanish speaking friend.

Horrible service. Waiters didn't know there business or how to check out a big group. Took 20 min to add 4 chairs. Service was bad period. Never going again. It was embarrassing!!!!!
Nothing wow about it. Simple and plain with little to no value of the dishes. Bonito Michoacán still our fav with added value and much flavorful dishes.
The friendly feel when you are greeted by your host is very comforting. The whole experience is welcoming and relaxing.

We had a reunion with 18 people. Ricardo's was clean, the food delicious, and the service was spot on. The bean dip and green salsa that comes with tgr chips were amazing! Everyone's food looked fantastic and there were no complaints. See ya next time we can.
Love this place!
We had a great time at Ricardos. When we arrived we were seated as soon as we walked in. We were served cocktails shortly after being seated and dinner shortly after that. Oh, and they have the best bean dip.
Delicious halibut sauté & carne asada. Great guacamole too. Device was excellent.
Really noisy but it was Saturday night with lots of birthdays and a wedding. The prices are higher that I remember but delicious.

We have been to Ricardo's 3 or 4 times. Previous visits have been good. This one, on Mother's Day--not so good. Ordered steak medium rare. Received it medium well to well. Wife ordered her's medium and it was cooked medium (that's good). Service was slow. Finished beer and was not offered another. Then finished water. It stayed empty also. Long delay for check and long delay to handle payment. Although it was Mother's day, and busy, that does not justify the problems. Probably will not return.
