Awesome food, awesome service. Love this place!!!
I've been in Ribalta a lot of times and it is one of my favorite places in NYC. The food is incredibly good and the pizzas are so tasty, they make the real Italian pizza. There is no word to describe how good the Babamisud is, I think it is the best dessert that exists. It's a pleasure to spend my time in this restaurant and most of all it was my pleasure spend my birthday there. Thank you so much for always accommodate me and my guests!
Very good Place for italian food. I’m italian and trust me. Good.
Hands down the best gluten free pizza crust I have had! I ordered the Ribalta on a gluten free crust and the crust was light, fluffy and melted in my mouth. Salads are great as is wine selection
Always a great meal, great time with family and friends.
Authentic and delicious !
I’ve been coming to Ribalta for years and it delivers on quality food every time!
I am gluten sensitive and generally eat gluten-free. I had the Ribalta pizza with the gluten-free crust. The crust was fluffy, light and scrumptious. The pizza was sooo good! We had spinaci salad. Also delicious. Great wine selection. We loved it and will definitely return!
Had not been here in some time, but so happy to see Ribalta remains good as ever. Super friendly staff, wonderful food that is fresh, tasty, varied. Great value especially for this neighborhood, where it can be hard to find great food and service, an unpretentious atmosphere, and great value all in the same place!
The whole dining experience felt very rushed. We were in and out in under an hour and that includes cocktails, appetizers and a main course. The food itself was very underwhelming. My frutti di mate was so salty I couldn’t even eat more than 2 bites and the pizza was soft and floppy so the toppings fell off once you picked it up.
I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
If you like cold saggy pizza it’s your place! Yes, it was cold, not even warm!
I had a business lunch and didn’t want to complain in front of my partner
Because it was her treat.
The restaurant was almost empty so it was no reason not to prepare food properly.
Service was friendly.
Pizza veramente ottima, è come stare in pizzeria sotto casa. Servizio ottimo e personale molto cordiale. Tutto perfetto.
Ribalta’s pizza never disappoints: a must!
Had friends in from Napoli and wanted to show them how I get my Napoli fix while living in NYC. This is the third time I’ve ordered pasta and the waiter always says don’t worry it’ll be al dente. I don’t think the kitchen understands al dente. Will not order pasta again.
Place is under construction which impacted the ambiance. The pizza is absolutely insanely amazing.
Perfect as usual. You can’t go wrong at Ribalta, service and food make you feel in Italy !!!
Simply great like Italy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The food and service were good. THE NOISE HORRIFIC!
No better way to end Passover!
Pizza, pasta, beer and wine!
Waitress was very rude. They made a mistake on the order and didn’t apologize. Pizza was very expensive.
I enjoyed our appetizers but was very disappointed in the pizza. It was not cooked enough; the cheese hadn't melted and it wasn't served hot. Nice wine list.
Love the Margherita Rossa, simple, traditional, delicious. Two person table is a tight fit for two pizzas and conversion to either side is so close it's hard to tune out. Sat at the bar the next time and it was perfect.
Best pizza place in town (said by a Neapolitan guy).
We had a reservation at 8:30 and got seated a hour later. We called at 8 to tell them we would’ve been 20 minutes late and they said “okay, no problem”. We got there and there was no table for us. If I call you to tell you I’m late and you say no problem I don’t expect you to give my table away. I’d rather you to tell me “if you change the time of the reservation I’m afraid you’ll have to wait a little bit more to be seated because we’re busy”. So that was definitely a bad start.
Anyway, pizza is good but way too overpriced, around $25 each! So don’t be surprised when you see the check.
Service was nothing extraordinary.
Last thing, when you see porcini mushrooms on the menu it’s more like a sauce and not actually mushrooms as one would expect, but they don’t say that anywhere so it was kind disappointing to see this sauce on the pizza…
Very good. Pizza napoletana numero 1 in NYC.
The food was great our 1st and 2nd time there. But this last time was a big disappointment. The pizza was limp and lacking in terms of ingredients (I get that it was supposed to be thin crust, but the fact that folding it in half still made it limp was just... no). The Margherita Rossa pizza had no basil whatsoever, just mozzarella and tomato sauce; big difference from when we ordered it way before. The Pepito pizza was... well, it fell apart before we could even take bites out of it because it was that limp; there was no crunch to the crust, no hold; barely saw and tasted the mushrooms. The Capricciosa pizza was probably the better one out of the 3 we ordered; it held it's shape somewhat, it was flavored, and we actually saw the ingredients and tasted them. The meatballs were overly salty, as was the Basil Pesto gnocchi. The Black Truffle gnocchi wasn't bad, but take it from someone who's been there before, there's a difference in portion (it's smaller than before). Only issue we had with the 2 gnocchi was that they were way too chewy, almost like they were overcooked. The Rughetta, Avocado, and Caprese salads were good, I'll give them that. The Zucchine Scapece was on point and delicious. Sauteed Shrimp and Roasted Octopus were good too, but not quite on par with what we had tasted our first time there. Service was sometimes great, sometimes negligent; hit or miss, but it was busy that night, so it's understandable. At least they were able to accommodate a party of 9. They were nice enough to offer to slice the pizza into 8 slices instead of the original 4, but then we couldn't locate our waitress sometimes to order more stuff. Out of the 7 glasses of lemonade we ordered, 3 were sour and 4 were somewhat watered down; but to be fair, they did replace it when asked. Overall, would we be going back again? Probably wouldn't go out of our way to do so anymore, but we're also not going to be avoiding the place either. It just won't be our 1st choice.
Always consistent. Excellent, authentic, real Italian.
I'm from Naples and I'm very demanding about pizza. I must say that the quality of the pizza we ate was excellent, absolutely unexpected. Congratulations!
Good pizzas and salads. Very popular with soccer fans.
Everything was fine, with a wonderful food and Italian atmosphere. As Italian, I feel the experience as if I was in some places of my country, relaxed and comfortable as in my hometown.
The food was fantastic and food came out relatively quickly. We loved the pizza and the cocktails and we would definitely recommend getting a reservation before going in order to avoid waiting 30+ minutes.
Our waitress was very transactional and seemed annoyed when my daughter did not understand the differences in the pizza styles. The food was good but her transactional style ruined our experience.
Ottima pizza, locale troppo rumoroso per i miei gusti. Prezzi nella media per New York; circa 30 $ pizza e birra
Very Nice Restaurant. Excellent Pizza!! Wonderful place and very gentleman staff
Casual spot. Very, very good pizza. Good for families. Better for small groups.
We enjoyed our pizza at Ribalta, but the music was so loud and bad I might add, that we had a hard time enjoying each other’s company. I had a reservation for 8:45pm, we arrived at 8:50 and were not sat until 9:15pm. What is the point of having a reservation if you are not able to sit down upon arrival? Service at the table was ok, but I wasn’t impressed by the team at the front door. I had to hunt down someone to tell them we had a reservation and then they said “ok” and let us wait outside with no update until I went in to ask again about our table, they said something about the previous table staying long. I also didn’t like the drink and desert menus by tablet. Is this an airport lounge?
The mayor of Bonefro, Molise - "Ziti alla Genovese - hard to find this dish, as perfectly cooked as this, in a restaurant in Italia!"
Todo muy bien hecho.
Very nice and original neapolitan pizza, defineteley one of the best in New York
"We love the relaxed feeling and authenticity of Ribalta. We definitely will be returning again. All the food is delicious our favorite is The Spicy Salami Pizza with the spicy oil, it is amazing. Service is always well-timed and friendly at the tables. This time we sat at the Bar And had great service as well. Vincenzo and Victorio were both professional, attentive and friendly.
