I usually don’t write reviews but just want to comment on the extraordinarily pleasant and helpful the staff is at this restaurant. It’s a treat to feel taken care of in this way and I wanted to express my gratitude.
We were celebrating a birthday and you were nice enough to set up a table in a fairly private area of the restaurant. It was perfect and so was the food, ambience, staff and service. We will definitely be returning
Delicious napoletana-style pizza! Even the gluten-free pizza was delectable. In fact, it was hard to believe it was gluten-free. Very tender and flavorful. Wish they offered smaller size pizzas since we couldn't finish it all, but worth every bite!
The food is awesome, I recommend the calamari and shrimp appetizer and the truffle gelato dessert! Must have, they’re ridiculously delicious!
There was a soccer match on TV that day, some people were shouting out loud when they were watching the match. Other than that, it was a pretty great experience!
This is the place where you want to go for a real Italian pizza. You can’t go wrong with any choice.
The staff is always so nice. It was my nieces 9th bday and EVERYONE sang to her. So sweet. She was so happy. Food always great.
Un pezzo di Napoli a New York. Abbiamo mangiato una genovese buonissima!
Fantastic food and service. The food is reasonably priced. Perfect place for meeting up with friends or a date.
La vera pizza italiana a New York! Opzione gluten free. Servizio super cordiale!
Best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. Service was excellent until it got rather crowded and our server was definitely overworked at the end.
Best Pizza away from Italy ... said by an Italian born in Rome!!! Great service!!!
Fantastic, simple food made sublime by high quality ingredients. Very friendly, genuine service. Wish it wasn't so loud - appreciate the laid back vibe for what it is, but it would be nice to be able to hear a bit more - however, could carry on a conversation well enough.
Wow. Shocked at how bad this place was. First, the place had no charm. The acoustics are unspeakable. Worse than a train station. Impossible to hear the person next to you, forget about those across the table. The servers can't hear either. Loud bad music blasting to top off the already noisy space. The servers, although quite nice, were incompetent, and overwhelmed. Took forever to take our order. Then, Everyone's food came at different times. The 2 glasses of wine ordered didn't come till half way through the meal (of the half of table that got served first). This was just a table of 5, not like a banquet. Then the food- ugh. What a pathetic mess. Embarrassingly bad in fact. Can't remember a NY meal this bad
Usually don't try places like this, but because our friends were visiting from out of town and they have a 10 year old, thought it might work. Nope. If you are a New Yorker, you probably know better than to try this place, but in case you're curious, avoid like plague. Every dish was horrid. Oh- and just under 200 bucks. What!!
La vera pizza napoletana a New York.
We love this place. It’s our go to Italian!
Pizza alla pala top
good food and ambiance but also good music, friendly waiters, delicious food
Delicoius pizza and courtesy in midtown Manhattan.
Nice, smaller restaurant with great taste! Pizza was fantastic and would definitely recommend this location. Good Job!
We had a reservation and our table wasn’t ready until 30 mins after that reservation time.
Excellent meal as always🍷
Looking for a new restaurant, my friend recommended Ribalta, she loves the crust. Celebrating my sons birthday whose a HUGE pizza lover. After viewing the menu he noticed French fries as an add on to the pie. Hooked, he never wants to eat a pizza without French fries. Can’t wait to return so he can try the red pie with French fries. Great service. Bon appetite
The Best Neapolitan Pizza in NYC. I have never been disappointed at Ribalta.
I have been here at least 3 dozen times. Martina and Melina, our waitresses, made us feel like we were in Napoli. The pizza is buonissimo. Their Italian is authentic. I cannot wait for my next dinner here.
Food and service were both fine--the noise level makes it difficult to have a relaxing, leisurely meal. our Pizza making classes are a plus! But when exactly are they?
The service is quick, the waiters were friendly and attentive, and the pizzas are delicious! I always enjoy bringing friends here. Never disappointed.
Very very loud environment. Why the walls are subway tile ceramic instead of sound absorbing material us beyond me.
Appetizers are very good. Pizza is not at the level of appetizers
Very attentive and unrushed service
Good value for NYC
We had lunch at Ribalta and it was excellent. Loved going early to avoid crowds and noise.
Everything was absolutely delicious. My only comment would be to lower the AC as it was very warm in the restaurant
My favorite restaurant in US.
Excellent service and food. Also very reasonably priced for NY. The gluten free pizza is one of the best I've had.
The burrata with shaved truffle was lovely and saving some of it to put on the vegan pizza was terrific.
Food v. good. WAY TOO NOISY was hard to get hold of: probably had too many tables.
Great place and most importantly delicious food!
Ribalta is an amazing spot in the East Village! The food was not only delicious, it was so visually appealing as well. The staff was so attentive and answered all of our questions. I will be returning with more friends and family! 💗
One of the best in NY. Great service and really nice people in the staff. Chef Pasquale and Vincenzo among the nicest in the squad!!
A group of 3 foodies had satisfying quick bite pre-theater lunch. Nice bohemian ambiance and friendly, professional service. Best of all, food was fresh and delicious. We will go back again for dinner.
Really delicious and great fun!
We went late after a concert. Food was great and server was very nice but food took forever to come out. I love music but the volume was deafening. Couldn’t even talk to my date. Tables were so close together my date kept getting bumped in the back by service staff. We were so close to the couple next to us, I could have sat on their laps. Not sure if I will return which is a shame because the food is really good, it’s just so damn loud.
The truffle gnocchi is amazing! It's a little pricey but it's worth it.
The food is great, but it's consistent depending on the day. I wish the quality was more consistent!
