My ahi poke salad was delicious and our server was terrific! I love The Rialto for lunch and also for Sunday brunch especially to make my own Bloody Mary!
Have been to Rialto Cafe a few times, and we were headed to the DCPA so this was a great option. They have a Theatre menu, and even if you just order off of the normal menu, they cut 10% off your bill and have free parking (if you can figure out which place to park in).
Service was great - beyond expectations and the food was quite good. So great experience all around, and we will come again.
Rialto is a great go-to for the theater. Food is good and reasonably priced and service is always mindful of getting you out on time.
Good for all meals but especially great for pre-DCPA. Special 3-course menu, great discount of selected wine bottles (almost priced to retail level) and free parking all night in the garagediagonallm across the street. But all that wouldn't make us come back. And back. For that it's the food, the good portions and the always-great service. And, oh yes, the cornbread is really good too.
We ate here before seeing Aladdin on a Saturday night. Our reservation was for 4:45 and it was perfect! We had plenty of time to eat and take our time getting to the theater. I had the Theater Special: Caesar Salad, Grilled Salmon, and Key Lime pie. My husband opted for the Steak and Frites with the horseradish compound butter. The food was very flavorful and I am still thinking about how good it was over a week later! Our waiter was friendly and efficient. As the day got later, it did fill up and the atmosphere was very energetic, but not too loud for an intimate conversation. I will definitely suggest this place again for any special night out downtown!
We went to Rialto for a nice date night dinner before going to the theater, which was a mistake. We arrived for our 6pm reservation, and were told that they didn’t actually have a table for us. We didn’t have time to wait 20 minutes for one to open up since we had to make the show, so we had to sit at the bar- totally killed the mood of our date.
I ordered the burrata, and was informed they were out of it. I’m vegetarian and there weren’t many options of what I could eat, so I ordered a Caesar salad. When it arrived, I was incredibly disappointed- it was literally just a big plate of lettuce. The bartender had recommended that I add tomatoes, which I did, and received one small tomato, cut in half on the side of the plate. I even had to ask for dressing, there was none on it. Meanwhile my boyfriend ordered the steak frites with truffle fries, and was given regular fries instead.
Overall, super disappointing experience. However, I have to shout out to the woman who was bartending because she did everything she could to make us feel better- she comped our drinks and gave us a free order of brussel sprouts. We walked out feeling appreciative of her, but we will definitely never go back.
Nice meal - great service, good food, especially the kale salad, crispy Brussels sprouts and halibut! Very friendly and responsive sauce staff. Lots of good options on the happy hour menu as well.
Slow service. Very good food. Expensive.
Service was fast, attentive but not obtrusive. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the mall activity. Food was good. Great to get together with friends for a casual meal and catch up.
Was an excellent evening!! Fast service friendly staff, we really enjoy visiting the Rialto, cozy, quaint, delicious!!!
Had a excellent experience
Excellent food and fun atmosphere (although a little noisy). We shared the artichoke parm dip which was great - and filling. I had the eggplant and my husband had the chicken pot pie. Both were good size portions and yummy. Good mojito too! We had just gotten off the plane, found this on Yelp and gave it a try. Convenient location to Convention Center and in lively 16th Street Mall area. Try it!
Our waitress had a fake attitude a hungover person could spot in two seconds. We were really excited about the restaurant being that it was reccomended by a friend. I don't believe I'd forward that favor. Sorry. Work on your attitude. We saw your face everytime you dragged your feet to our table.
They were very accommodating when the weather turned sour and my party started shying away!
Thank you! Your staff was amazing!
Easter brunch with my kids was SUPER fun!
Good overall experience, got a bit busy and noisy right before we left but it was happy hour
Nice menu and good food! Great happy hour with tasty lemon drop martini on happy hour menu! We had a relaxing dinner and were able to get out in time for the play.
We went for brunch before seeing Hamilton. Loved the free parking for the restaurant and the show! the brunch was great! Great food and a really good value with the additional breakfast bar that they had. The bottomless Mimosas bar was a hit with my friend and I! We loved crafting different drinks. And, our waitress was amazing. So sweet and took care of us so well. Would definitely go again for brunch on a supper day and take advantage of their outdoor seating!
WE went here before going to the theatre, and it was a great location - close to the venue and great food!
I wish we could remember our servers name (short dark hair she said it was pink a few weeks ago.) Hospitality was fantastic! Very friendly and she was always smiling. Food was delivered very fast which was great since we had a show. Brunch menu has great variety. Mimosa bar was fun - the bloody mary bar was even better with about 30 different but sauce options (fresh horseradish, olive, pickles, a few salts, etc) . Both served with a large spread of pastries and muffins. Very loud so dont come here for a romantic date. It's all about the fun! Forgot a photo of the bars so guess we have to come back 😁
There was a problem with the computer system, and our order was delayed. The restaurant comped our entire check! We were amazed. And we'll be back.
Great pre-theater place. Anna was a great waitress!!! Then off to Hamilton!!!!!
We have been to Rialto 3 or 4 times in the past, this time the food was a little off but overall a great place to go.
The ribeye steak was a very poor choice. The quality of the beef was simply awful.; it was very thin, and had a lot of gristle. For the price they charged, I would have expected a better cut of meat.
My waiter was ambivalent at best. The featured corn bread was never offered, and no one ever asked whether the steak was cooked properly.
They were very nice considering that some of our guests did not show up (4 instead of 7). The server was very friendly and gave great service.
Good theater menu.....$29.95 3 course dinner and 40% off bottles of wine. Location is convenient to the Buell and the staff makes sure to get us there in time!
A great dining experience with excellent food and service. We enjoyed cocktails and a good meal with wine, followed by coffee and dessert. We especially appreciated the server who understood we were trying to make curtain call at the DCPA and timed our service perfectly.
Dinner before seeing Hamilton. Also celebrating my best friend’s birthday. Magical night!
Very convenient for theater and theater parking. RibEye steaks were thin and tough but priced at $32.
Rialto Cafe delivers on quality and service every time we go - whether it is before a show, date night or simply casual meals - their service is friendly, food tasty and delightful choice of wine and beer. Don't miss their awesome "Happy Hour" from 3-6 - excellent choices of food from $5-$8 plus reasonably priced drinks. Go, be happy, enjoy the 16th Mall - sit by the large windows in the bar area and watch people go by.
One of our favorite restaurants. Great menus and wonderful complementary cornbread!
We have been to Rialto often - usually before the theatre or CSO, or with another couple for a casual evening out, and every year, after we run the Runnin' of the Green 7K in downtown Denver, we come over for brunch. One of our favorite downtown restaurants!!
Excellent food, very good variety of steak, chicken, seafood. Plan on 1.5 hours to eat as the kitchen can get backed up between 5:00 and 6:00.
We love eating here when we go to plays at Buell Theatre. It is right on the 16th street mall, and the food is delicious. They also have a wonderful happy hour.
Our group loves the brunch menu at Rialto Cafe. The added danish and fruit bar is delicious.
Great place for mimosa brunch. Always love coming here. Love the entrees, pastry bar, and juice selections. Not sure if it is a permanent change or just the day we were there, but the cinnamon roll icing was thin and tasted more like whip cream, not great. Wish they would bring the champagne around in carafes for refills, since it's more fun to mix up the juice selection each time. Recommend trying the juices combined!
Great service. Waiter was excited about the. Ew chef and her specials. I cleaned my plate and he was excited to tell her.
We had dinner at Rialto prior to going to the theater. They had a special menu and wine discount for theater goers. We ordered off the theater menu and the food was great. I had the salmon and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive as we were on a schedule to eat and then get to the theater. We will definitely go again.
