Rialto Cafe Ratings and Reviews
This is a solid 4 star restaurant. The service we had was excellent. The food was very good. The atmosphere is nice but a bit on the loud side. We were staying in the hotel, so this was very convenient and far better than many hotel restaurants. We'd heard the truffle fries were very good, so we ordered the steak and frites but asked for truffle fries instead of regular. Next time, I'd probably order them separately instead of topped with the steak & sauce. The sauce from steak drowned the fries which, by themselves, were excellent. Steak by itself was excellent as well. I think we will probably return.
Had tickets for the theater, they have a special 3 couse menu and 40% off of featured bottles of wine. That was a HUGE surprise, excellent dining experience, Nathan was great, made sure whole dinner was timed perfectlt so we got out the door exactly at the time we needed to. They even were great about subbing in for gluten free items.
Ate at the Rialto Café before heading to a concert at Boettcher Concert Hall. Got there around 5:30PM so we were eligible for happy hour and the great values they offer on wines by the glass and the bottle. They also had a nice pre-theatre menu...appetizer, main course and dessert for $29.99. They have a very nice, diverse menu and they pay for your parking if you are going to the theatre. You just park in the lot at Independence Plaza. We already have another reservation for a future theatre date!
Once again we ventured to Rialto before the theater and as always the food was exactly what we expected and the service was on par. For me it is really important that the kitchen takes food allergies seriously as I have several which have stopped us from going to restaurants that don't.
We had an early dinner at the Rialto Cafe. Our waitress was great - very professional, knew the menu, was attentive to our needs, provided necessary service without asking. Our meals were very good too - we both had fish dinners and shared a very tasty and flavorful kale salad. The fish was cooked just right, was nicely presented and prepared.
We enjoyed our meal there.
Wonderful service, and a menu that has great variety. 4 of us dined early on a Saturday. By 6:30 the place was full, yet not noisy, and easy to walk around. The wife had one of the best Italian sauces ever on the lasagna. The cod was cooked perfectly. Very impressed with the cooking.
There is a great energetic atmosphere here. We had a group of 4 come in after the Women's March and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. Our server specifically was not very attentive and also spoke so fast we could barely keep up. The menu entrees for brunch are fine...not bad and not great. The fruit and pastry bar is lacking though. Keep up the great work on the mimosa bar!
This is not the place to go if you have plans after your meal. It took about 25 minutes to place a drink order. We had been seated and waited an entire hour before our server came back to take our dinner order. I had to request for her to bring our bill as soon as we received our food because she didn't come around very often. It could've just been a bad night but I won't be going back to this establishment any time soon.
The food was good and exactly as noted on the menu. We were seated at a table that was by a makeshift pass through to the kitchen and had servers squeezing by us intermittently. Not great. They shouldn’t allow that to happen. It made conversation feel constantly interrupted.
Waitstaff was engaged, but behaved as if still in training. Very kind and tried to accommodate as much as possible.
Corner booth was VERY uncomfortable and in high traffic area. Not the best spot to squeeze in more patrons.
Food was disappointing, to be generous. Quality, flavor, presentation, and selection left a lot to be desired, unfortunately.
We went for NYE and assumed it would be pretty crazy, but it really wasn't. Our server, Christopher, was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. We had the salmon, delicious, the shrimp and lobster ravioli, very flavorful, and the scallops, which were also very good. The reason we down graded the food is because there were only three scallops on the plate. For the price we thought this was quite skimpy, it seemed more like an appetizer than an entrée. We shared a brownie sundae for dessert.
Good, but we’ve had better experiences before. Waiter seemed off, but got a little better as we went. Food was slow and then part of mine was burnt on the top. It’s such a minor thing too, but we missed the cornbread we got in the past. Love the theatre menu and free parking with it, but this visit was just okay. Good, not great.
