Food was outstanding - but the staff was superb. We had a great server who recommended phenomenal dishes. Highly recommended!!!
Our food was very slow to arrive. We ordered 4 small plates. The first two came out in a reasonable time. The other two came out at the same time about 40 minutes later. The couple seated next to us ordered the same dishes after us and received all their food ahead of us. The food was so disappointing. The sausage had no flavor. The lamb ribs were drenched in sauce that was disgusting. The preserved rhubarb in the salad was horrible, and many of the berries were mush. The gnocchi was the only dish that was good. This dinner really was a disappointment. I would not return,
Wonderful creative cuisine, excellent service, overall excellent experience!
Wonder meal … fresh, vibrant flavors. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend.
Good food, poor service with rude servers
It was Father's Day and my dad was in from GA. We love Rhubarb and wanted him to experience it on his special day. Everything was wonderful as far as being greeted when we arrived and the food. Our server was not super engaging and I kinda felt like she didn't like us and it was a chore for her to have to take care of us. So despite exceptional food (my omelet was over the top perfection!) We decided to eat and run. We forwent another cocktail and past on dessert because we didn't feel encouraged to stay.
Rhubarb is a recommended visit if going to Asheville. The menu is small but fresh. The outside seating is fine, but a bit loud given their location on the square.
Would highly recommend! We tried everything but 2 entrees on the menu. All were fantastic! There was some nice live street music that added to our experience.
The chicken, it’s signature dish, was bland. Disappointing compared to other restaurants in Asheville
Great food, local ingredients and the staff was super welcoming. I’d go back!
Food was great ! We had the sweetest waitress, Sarah. She was great and made great suggestions based off of some allergies my fiancé has. 10/10 recommend.
The meal was very well prepared and seasoned well. The service is friendly and professional. The building has a great design with interesting architecture.
We really enjoyed our dinner at rhubarb. The food was delicious and tasted very wholesome! Our server was lovely. The one thing that wasn’t so great was the Rhubarb cake… which is ironic considering the name of the Restuarant. It was dry and a bit tough, flavor was mild.
Carey was a really good server - informative and was very positive in her attitude. Food was ok
Excellent communication and service, outstanding meal.
We requested to be seated inside because there was a person playing a drum right outside the restaurant and it was distracting and we could barely carry on a conversation. But unfortunately, there were no tables inside. Are these people really allowed to plop themselves down right outside a restaurant?
One of the few restaurants in this area that is consistently good. Very much appreciate from farm to table that is carried on here.
Great meal! All the food was so delicious, and our pup had a great time on the patio as well! Favorite meal in Asheville!
Best meal we had in AVL. The menu is full of unusual and amazingly fresh items, and everything surprised and delighted in the best way. If you want an elevated NC meal, this is your place. Hands down.
Mediocre at best. Of our party of 5, 2 ordered steak, both felt meat was tough and overpriced.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner. We happily made a reservation outside which was great. Especially enjoyed the lamb ribs appetizer and my husband raved about the trout main dish. My teenage boys are picky eaters and they enjoyed the food as well.
Absolutely amazing! Food and service were incredible. Green onion hush puppies were to die for and my steak was cooked perfectly. Local IPA on draft. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner!
We had a great experience. The food was fantastic! My husband especially loved the rabbit!! The menu was smaller, but the items they had were very well done. We started with the gnocchi and it was fantastic.
My husband especially loved that they had a decent selection from the local breweries.
Food selections are good and the selections are well prepared but they seem to lack taste - could use some more spices
Great brunch or lunch spot! We’ll be back.
The chief must have been on vacation …Super disappointed with the entire meal.
Wonderful menu - great speciality cocktails. Highly recommend!
Amazing ! food fresh -brilliant flavors -delicate
Sampled three small plates and two entrees. Exquisitely prepared and presented. Friendly staff. Never hurried us. Best in Asheville.
We had red snapper crudo, lamb ribs, and hush puppies for dinner and the rhubarb cake and a cheese plate for desert and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Top ten definitely. On top of that, the ambiance was so slick, the staff was super friendly and the location was great for walking around after dinner. Eat here.
Terrific spot for brunch. And I would love to dinner here. The staff was lovely. The food was delicious. The environment is very cool. Thank you
Great farm-to-table cuisine with locally sourced ingredients from western NC crafted in delicious and decorative dishes. The entire experience, from the dishes to the excellent wait staff, was amazing.
Awesome food, loved our waitress, great vibe! Would definitely recommend.
Every bite of food was wonderful.
Great food and great ambience. Would definitely go back.
Jessica was a fantastic server. What a great experience!
Loved it!!! They made our 15th anniversary dinner very special!
Fantastic service, good steak, great lamb ribs
We were very underwhelmed by everything. The food was average at best. Tried three appetizers and the lamb ribs were inedible(overcooked with bland sauce) and hush puppies were only okay. The steaks were cooked properly, but accompaniments bad. The fish bland. The pork tenderloin was good, presentation was uninspired. For a farm to table restaurant this was a disappointment. Not everything on drink menu was available.
Great food, service was attentive yet provided privacy. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
