Best meal we had in AVL. The menu is full of unusual and amazingly fresh items, and everything surprised and delighted in the best way. If you want an elevated NC meal, this is your place. Hands down.
Absolutely amazing! Food and service were incredible. Green onion hush puppies were to die for and my steak was cooked perfectly. Local IPA on draft. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner!
We had a great experience. The food was fantastic! My husband especially loved the rabbit!! The menu was smaller, but the items they had were very well done. We started with the gnocchi and it was fantastic.
My husband especially loved that they had a decent selection from the local breweries.
Food selections are good and the selections are well prepared but they seem to lack taste - could use some more spices
Great brunch or lunch spot! We’ll be back.
The chief must have been on vacation …Super disappointed with the entire meal.
Wonderful menu - great speciality cocktails. Highly recommend!
Amazing ! food fresh -brilliant flavors -delicate
Sampled three small plates and two entrees. Exquisitely prepared and presented. Friendly staff. Never hurried us. Best in Asheville.
We had red snapper crudo, lamb ribs, and hush puppies for dinner and the rhubarb cake and a cheese plate for desert and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Top ten definitely. On top of that, the ambiance was so slick, the staff was super friendly and the location was great for walking around after dinner. Eat here.
Terrific spot for brunch. And I would love to dinner here. The staff was lovely. The food was delicious. The environment is very cool. Thank you
Awesome food, loved our waitress, great vibe! Would definitely recommend.
Every bite of food was wonderful.
Jessica was a fantastic server. What a great experience!
Loved it!!! They made our 15th anniversary dinner very special!
Fantastic service, good steak, great lamb ribs
We were very underwhelmed by everything. The food was average at best. Tried three appetizers and the lamb ribs were inedible(overcooked with bland sauce) and hush puppies were only okay. The steaks were cooked properly, but accompaniments bad. The fish bland. The pork tenderloin was good, presentation was uninspired. For a farm to table restaurant this was a disappointment. Not everything on drink menu was available.
Very good service and food. Great for a special occasions.
I.5 hour visit limit. Felt extremely rushed as the server brought the bill out just after my last bite. I appreciate their staff for being there and working but based on the visit I had I would not go back.
Food was delicious and our server, Taylor was terrific!
Hard to find something appealing to eat. Too many unknowns on the menu, even the server endeavored to describe/explain. Industrial decor.
Rhubarb was a delightful experience. Our server was excellent and the food was very good. I loved their eponymous 75 cocktail
The meal was outstanding and very eclectic. The service (Sarah) was attentive and delightfully pleasant and knowledgable. Definitely going to eat here again and again.
Great menu. Loved the trout! Evan our server was attentive. Good wine list.
When you first walk in you’re greeted with a beautiful aroma in this simple but beautiful place.
The food was amazing. Our tongues were dancing with flavor with every bite. Rhubarb does not disappoint.
The service was very friendly and attentive, too.
Great service! Food was very good.
Nice brunch with family
Delicious food, wonderful outdoor seating and friendly staff!
Little noisy but great
The food was delicious! Our table was located by the kitchen and the temperature was very uncomfortable due to it being extremely hot, otherwise the service was exceptional as well as the food.
We had been there is a while and found it once again wonderful. We ate inside and appreciate that social distancing guidelines were still in place. We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas and the wine!
Rhubarb continues to be one of Asheville’s great restaurants. There is no finer example of truly local ingredients honored with the finesse and care of an extraordinary chef!
Went to Rhubarb for 5 year anniversary dinner visit to Asheville and it was superb. Great service, cute restaurant and out of this world food. We got the goat cheese hurrays, ricotta gnocchi, green onion hushpuppies with sorghum butter and split the sirloin (cooked perfectly) with smashed new potatoes and English peas.
I wasn't impressed with the food, drinks, or service. It was blah.
This was a wonderful experience, in fact dinner was so good we had to come back for brunch.
Never disappoints. Small menu but always delicious.
We love visiting Asheville and Rhubarb is always on our list. This visit did not disappoint. I love the fact that the menu is never the same. Taylor was our server and she was great. Foo prices are simply up these days; the restaurant was not inflating prices at all, but going out to dinner is just expensive. Make a reservation and enjoy this gem. I'm THRILLED this restaurant survived the pandemic.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere both inside and outside. Reminds me of being in a cool New Orleans restaurant. Just gets better every years
