Great experience on Valentine’s Day for my friends birthday. Wasn’t overly romantic filled except the heat shaped giant pretzels which were so amazing, we got two!

It was Valentine's Day and we showed up a bit early. Even though we had a reservation we were sat by the front door which was cold particularly in view of the cold weather and for my wife who has fibromyalgia. Food was OK but not really German but someone's variation. Beer and schnapps were very good.

The food was mediocre. The server was fun but she took forever to come around. We were there 2 hours and 1 minute and a lot of that time was just waiting for the server to come back. I definitely won’t be back.

Very short pour on wine, while not cheap. Food is bland. Everything tastes the same. Huge hall, not intimate. Lots of little kids screaming. Parking is not good.

First off, I made a reservation for a table of 8. They are known for large tables, so I figured it would be no problem since they took the reservation. When we got there, we had two tables of 4 next to each other. This is NOT a table for 8. We ended up only being able to talk to our friends at our own table, as you couldn’t hear the conversations at the table next to us.

Thankfully the food was good as the service was TERRIBLE. It took 3 hours for a meal that should have taken 2, at the most. We ended up bussing our own table, since we were seated next to it. Server very inattentive and then got our bills wrong. But service was included, so he didn’t care.

German food was very good, beer was great, service was TERRIBLE. Wait staff is immature and careless and does not care about serving patrons.

With the exception of a very loud TV tuned to a Thursday night football game that I don't think anyone was watching, we enjoyed our first visit here very much. Food was good, great beer, outstanding service. But turn down the TV!

Decent German food with a good beer selection with a rustic ambiance. Even the kale salad was good.

The food here is always good, haven't ordered anything on the menu that I don't like. The staff is friendly, and the beers are extra cold. The atmosphere is fun, but it does get really crowded on weekends so plan accordingly (reservations on opentable?).

We really enjoyed our food and the service was very good. I would describe the fare as a good “take” on German food. I tried the Jaegerschnitzel. The take? It was made with beef! Interesting and delicious. My wife’s Pork Schnitzel was good, leaning more toward a picatta. Our next dining partner’s sausage plate was excellent.
The reason we didn’t rate the place higher? The Sunday football games playing on the big screen TVs were so loud it hurt. Turn it down a decibel or two fellas!

The food was mediocre at best and over priced for the value. We love to treat ourselves to fine German food when possible and it was our first time in Seattle. There were more than a few choices for German food. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our choice.

Our small group had lunch there recently. It was quite compared to what I've heard it can be. The place has a great atmosphere and plenty of bar area. The food was good and the service was very good with nice people. Service may be different on a crowded Friday night, but that won't be me. The bocce courts add a great social time, but if you are a "serious" bocce player who knows and plays international rules, this is not the place. Courts are ~ 45'L x 7'W which is half the length and near half the width of a regulation court. The courts are enough to have fun with friends and drink. Prost!

With an excellent selection of beers, dark moldings and benches, and a high ceiling, there's a feeling of being in a German beer hall. The pretzels and sausages are all homemade but I found the bratwurst to be milder than I would in Germany. What makes this place different is the presence of five bocce courts, which are right in the middle of the building and rentable by the hour.

Our waitress, although just finishing her training, was competent and very friendly. She was willing to substitute German potato salad for the standard mashed potatoes and allowed us to add a second kind of sausage to our plate for five dollars. The best item on the menu, in our opinion, is the warm German chocolate cake with ice cream and embedded coconut flakes. Maybe the apple strudel is better but it wasn't available.

Because the high ceilinged hall requires a lot of heating, temperature is definitely on the cooll side so, if you come in the winter be dressed for it. We think this place would be best enjoyed on a warm summer evening with a lot of friends.

I've dined at Rhein Haus a few times when I've been in Seattle on business and it has become one of my favorite places in the city. Great German food and beer in a lively atmosphere.

Best sausages in town at a very reasonable price. Order a big plate, and share it with your partner
You may still have to ask for a doggy bag. Good list of beers as well

Great food and beer, we stopped by before the U2 concert and parked our car nearby then uber-ed to the Century Link - best idea instead of parking at the Stadium. Staff were friendly, quick to serve us and food was hot and delicious - selection of sliders, spetzle, curried brats and decadent chocolate cake! We were out in a timely manner, only wish we had had more time to enjoy a game of Bocce!

It was a sunny Tues. evening so we started outside with happy hour. Nice fun causal atmosphere. Great service, amazing pretzels!
Moved inside for dinner. Ordered the platter with a great selection of food to try. It fed 3 people. I had the brat wrapped in bacon, yum! To finish it off the German chocolate cake is just a perfect ending!
