Wasn’t open, made reservations and never got a notification saying it wasn’t open. Showed up with a lock on the door and completely blacked out.
Schweinshaxe... that is all that needs to be said. Five stars.
We recently went to Rhein Haus for brunch and it was a great experience! The food was incredible, and they even had some classic brunch options if you didn’t want to stick to the (incredible) German food choices! The portions were huge and the value was great!
Good place for beers
Good atmosphere great customer service
The food is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, our server and drinks weren't as great. two of us ordered cocktails, and they were some of the worst cocktails I'd ever had. Strongly suggest sticking to beer. Our server forgot to take our food order, and never gave us waters or silverware. We ended up having to chase her down to get the check. Having been a server I totally understand being busy, but she had 3 tables and it was a slow night. Hopefully, this was just an off night for them, as the food is really amazing authentic german food.
Came here on a Saturday and was so happy we made that decision! The food is SO good. I would highly recommend the mashed potatoes, or the German potato salad (seriously unreal.) the food quality was super fresh and you could tell it was quality and thought of. I can’t wait to come back here!
We love this place! The food did take quite a while this time around.. service was wonderful as always. Food was delicious. Not sure why it took so long to come out though (45 minutes). We had to rush eating so we could get home to meet the babysitters curfew.
Not a bad spot.
Good customer service and noticeable quality of food.
Fantastic restaurant with top notch food, beers, and employees. The Manager, Francisco I believe, was super helpful with accommodating or larger party.
Really good, loved the schnitzel and the chedderwurst, sooo good!
Really fun! Had our anniversary there food was good! Had a das boot of beer! Very fun can’t wait till COVID is over it looks like we only got a sample of what they have to offer.
Very nice place with great atmosphere. Prices were too high for what you receive.
We love Rhein Haus! Even with Covid the experience was great.
Poor selection, no sides to accompany our $20 meal. Poor service. Sat at a table in the middle of the bocce ball court. Very disappointed for an expensive bday night out.
Beer and Brats. A great variety of brats. Unless you have an enormous appetite, oder just one. Good beer selection. Likely more will be more fun when social distancing curse is lifted. Will be back.
Enough outdoor seating for those who prefer it during these crazy times. Meals were large, everything tasted great! Seemed as if proper social distancing was taking place, i.e tables apart, etc.
Food just ok
May be Wisconsin but certainly not German. The pretzel was good - light and fluffy but the chewy pork schnitzel had some very strange sauce with capers in it (haven't ever seen/tasted in Germany) and came with a grilled lemon? vs regular lemon wedges. The brat was fine but nothing special.
Even w/ COVID precautions, our lunch was great as usual. Got the brat plate that was delish. Service so friendly and accommodating. Suggest reservations online before heading over.
The jumbo pretzel with the 4 dipping sauce was amazing!!
We have been going here for a couple years and are so happy to be back after COVID-19. Everyone who works here is genuinely great, always remembers us and takes the time to chat. The food is well-done German food. The giant pretzel and all dipping sauces is a must, but also the schnitzel with apple slaw is fantastic. Two story space is rustic and open and welcoming. Great to have a big beer. Always highly recommend!
We made a reservation here on open table then went to the location for our date and turns out the place was closed even though we were able to make a reservation. Pretty lame to show up to it being closed.
Super good food & beer and the music was what made it even better. Had the Denver Brat & a pretzel. 👌
Fun place, great beer selection, amazing brats, fun atmosphere...wish I’d gone there with a bigger group so we could’ve played bocce ball.
Lived in Munich for 3 years and while is isn't 100% authentic, any more than an American place is overseas, it sure is good! Great beer selection and the food is both tasty and good value for money. Service was appropriate as we were here prior to a Nuggets game and during Restaurant Week, there were multiple courses. Very good weekday Happy hour too.
One of our worst meals. The food is billed as German food with German names, but the food is anything but German. The Restaurant Week menu was awful...the schnitzel wasn't really schnitzel, the server was inattentive and difficult to locate. One of our worst dining experiences.
We shall not return.
We made a reservation for Feb. 15 and when we got there we were sat at a high top table, which my husband hates. I was going to say something to our waiter but when he came over and introduced himself, he was so nice and friendly my husband's attitude totally changed. We had such a nice time, the food, drinks and service not only met our expectations, they far exceeded it. We will definitely be back again. I believe our server's name was Jake (he had red hair) but a shout out to him. He was awesome and made it a great experience for us. We are going to come and have the giant pretzel before we go to Rockies games.
My wife and I really enjoyed Rein Haus. They have a good selection of beer, the food was excellent and they have plenty of TVs to watch sports. They even have Bocce. My wife ordered the large pretzel which was a meal in itself. I had the kielbasa and substituted the sauerkraut for kasespatzel (one of my favorite German sides) for a few bucks extra.
Overall this is a great place for good beer, food and hanging out to watch sports.
Fun restaurant with great brats and beer! We brought the whole family here to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The food was tasty, the beer delicious and we loved the family-friendly environment. We will be back.
The saurbraten was hard dry black chunks of overcooked meat. The german potato salad is not real german potato salad with light vinegar dressing. It had an odd taste. The "German chocolate cake" was microwaved brownie mix - blaaach! The apple strudel also needs work
I asked on my reservation if they could do something for my wife since it was her birthday. They gave her a free shot of apple schnapps and a German chocolate cake. The place was beautiful and warm and the food was amazing. Highly recommend.
This place has nothing to do with German Cousin .... food just doesn’t taste good at all ... sorry 0* for the food part
Great atmosphere for games! On the loud-side, but to be expected. Great space and food.
The food and service was great! Brunch is definitely the time to go.
Awesome. Lots of fun to watch a Wisconsin football game.
Food was good. The potato dumplings were not the greatest.
Great food fun atmosphere. Would really love cushioned seats- all of the chairs and benches are really uncomfortable.
Great ambience, food was ok, lots of packer fans. Very unique setup, really enjoyed the time there. Will definitely go back!
I was so disappointed with this place. We tried to go on a Monday evening and we couldn’t even hear ourselves think, the music was so loud. Our server had zero personality and we barely even saw him. Then to top it off, the food tasted like cardboard. My spaetzle was either burnt on the bottom or so underdone it was gummy, and my boyfriends pork schnitzle tasted like absolutely nothing - very obvious the sauce came from a can. It was a horrible experience and we will never be back. So much for good German food; this was a bar scene with bar music blasting.
