Great restaurant. Food and service was great
Service was slow and inattentive, food only fair given the price. Lobster bisque bland, caesar salad a vague facsimile, roast beef unimpressive, scallops cold.
Three Amazing Dinner Courses for $38
Yes, anything from each of your choices of the three courses is available ala carte, but the deal together is well worth the savings you’ll enjoy.
We shared one of the best appetizers in Asheville (or anywhere)—the Rezaz mezze dips—three delectable dishes served with sufficient warm pita bread.
I then went on to the three-course dinner. I started with the roasted vegetable spanakopita and it was fabulous. Then I had the seared Spanish octopus. (Warning: “harissa” is very spicy.) My main dish was NC chicken confit—absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. My friend (not as hungry as I was) had the spanakopita as well as a warm radicchio salad, and she adored both dishes.
Our server, Brady, could not have been better—attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. In addition, he suggested wonderful wines to complement our meal.
Outstanding server, she was very personable! We have been coming here for 14 years and it continues to be creative and impress.
The tenderloin wasn't tender, the fish was overcooked and the pasta was doughy, but the wine and the service were very good.
We are regular customers and the service personnel are warm and welcoming. We are always well satisfied whenever we dine at Rezaz.
We had a delicious paella. The scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The salad was delicious and interesting.
Great food, beautiful room, perfect service. We found the menu intriguing and everyone enjoyed all of their choices. We highly recommend Rezaz!
Semi casual dining. Great vegan options
My wife and have dined around the world and were looking forward to a new restaurant. How disappointed we were. Service was outstanding and the wine we had was wonderful, my short ribs were really not eatable, the dish was so over cooked it was no longer tender. My wife’s dish was also disappointing.
We are not sure we will give it another try.
Very attentive server. Wonderful food. A real treat
We had a wonderful meal at Rezaz. We had been there twice before and last night continued our love for this restaurant. My husband had the fixed price meal and I had one of the entrees. Both were exceptional and the service was terrific!!! The combination of flavors and freshness were just amazing. We plan to bring back the family when they are in town to visit!!
Delicious food and great service! Lovely ambiance!
Fabulous Lunch Specials - Our lunch could not have been better. Four of us shared the Rezaz Mezze Dips (three dips served with warm pita); the babaganoush was so delicious, we bought an eight-ounce container to take home with us.
At lunch, Rezaz offers, among other things, their versions of bento boxes; I chose the one with grilled salmon and all sorts of other goodies including both a lentil salad and beet slaw. One friend had the grilled shrimp kabobs; another had the smoked duck gyro with fries. There are daily specials, and my husband chose the lamb and beef burger with fries; the burger was so huge that he had to cut it with a steak knife before even attempting to eat it.
Delicious food and attentive staff make for a fantastic dinner out in our own town!
Delicious!!
We've loved coming to Rezaz for many years. The renovation that they've done recently will appeal to many, and I know they benefit from more table space, but it's not quite as cosy as before.
But our dishes were wonderful! So I highly recommend it. Totally delicious.
It was fabulous! The food is beautifully prepared and tastes divine! Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us choose delicious entrées! We had a wonderful evening at Rezaz.
We ordered the 3 tapas for 38 each - which is listed as a suggestion. No one told us that the entree tapa plate was huge and we shouldn’t have ordered the other two. By the time the entree came, we couldn’t finish it. My husband’s croquets were horrible - tasted like sand/dirt. The goatcheesewith tomatoes/sauce was great and so was the Moroccan stew with shrimp. Caramel desert was just so-so. First waiter rushed us through the first two tapas. Another waiter who brought the entree was very nice and casually checked in on us...and was very thoughtful - never pulled away a plate that we had food on unlike the first waiter. For @150 it wasn’t worth the experience. Please coach your tables on how much food they are ordering.
Wonderful dinner with unique Mediterranean dishes.
Wait staff was attentive and helpful with wine and menu options. Every course was delicious!
The Sunday night "special deal" was paella & salad for 2. It was excellent We will be back on other nights to try those specials.
This is our favorite restaurant in Asheville! It’s where our family celebrates birthdays, anniversary’s and most special occasions! The food is great, and the service is always spot on!
Delish! Love the food here with Mediterranean flavor. The spices are so good and different. Always a treat to come here for dinner.
Against my better judgment, I accepted the table offered which sandwiched my husband and I between two families with young children. It was a Saturday evening 7 p.m. table and there were a number of options much better suited to a senior couple birthday celebration and I kicked myself for not refusing the table at which we were seated. Both tables were two feet away from us and we sat through a glass of water knocked over on one side and a restless child running his toy vehicles across the table on the other. We endured changeovers on both sides while trying to eat and then the back of the server as she addressed two parties of four adults on the two adjoining tables. It was not the relaxing celebration I had in mind when booking. The ravioli I ordered was chewy, dense and tasteless with a hidden filling the size of a pea. Our server asked me about it as she could see I hadn’t eaten much. I said ‘I’m sorry, it was a miss’ to which she gave no response. Just collected our plates and walked off. We have always had good meals but this was a bad experience that we are unlikely to repeat. The meal overall was poor value for the money and not up to the standards we had previously experienced.
Another Asheville gem serving great food and drinks. Service always perfect.
The appetizers were delicious and filling. Everything was perfect. Got there early so parking was not a problem.
Enjoyed our visit. Crab soup, fattoush, and crispy shrimp were all very good.
We went for Valentine's Day and it was overpriced compared to their normal menu. If you go make sure it isn't a holiday, other than that everything was excellent
I went with two colleagues and we had the bento boxes for lunch and the food was super delicious! Will definitely come back again and try the other flavors.
Excellent Place. Food was well prepared, flavorful with lots of texture. Service was excellent. Andrea was great! Suggested a wine special that was very good. I had pink snapper that was well prepared with green beans and sweet potato wedges with an avocado hummus. My wife had scallops that were also well prepared with excellent sides. Desserts looked great but did not have room. Next time! We will be back!
Rezaz is one of our favorite restaurants! We love the food choices, the service is excellent and our meals are consistently delicious.
I love the people that work there and the owners!! The food is amazing and I am always made to feel good especially by myself.
My wife and I were in Asheville for a vacation, and we made a point to visit this restaurant, and were wonderfully pleased with the results.
Greeting upon arrival, table service & food. Everything was excellent.
Really good food, eclectic menu and excellent service!
Good Mediterranean food. Many choices, great wait staff, friendly host. A bit salty for my taste but wouldn't deduct points for that. Parking can be a bit difficult.
Had not been to Rezaz since change in ownership. We think it is as good, if not better. One of us had the special Restaurant Week menu and one of us ordered off the regular dinner menu. The Moroccan Chopped Salad and the Poached Pear Salad were both outstanding - perfect. Entrees were Chicken Bisteeyah and Seared Scallops. The chicken dish was fair - a bland mushy mixture which was supposed to contain chicken & vegetables. It really didn't have much taste, but was wrapped in a beautiful, light, crisp wonderful phyllo dough. The scallops were perfect - large and tender. Not certain what was underneath - tasted like some kind of sweet potato mixture. Again, not much discernable taste. For dessert, we split the Keneffa & Almond Pastry Cream. It was delicious - light and sweet (but not too sweet). Perfect, as we just wanted something light & sweet to finish up on. Our server, Steven was great. He knew the menu and made several good suggestions. He also had very good timing - didn't rush us, but we knew he was aware of how far along we were n the meal. He's a gem! The lightened up decor and Constance Williams art on the walls and appropriately understated music enhanced the atmosphere. All in all, we had a wonderful time and will be back again in the near future.
Rezaz never disappoints. Try one of the filling and creative Bento Boxes for lunch with wide choice of wines by the glass. The waitstaff is professional and friendly. Dinner is wonderful too! Best reasonably priced food in Biltmore Village!
Convienent, fast service, great place to spend with a loved one and have a conversation in a quiet setting.
