My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary this weekend . This place was so elegant and beautiful . The staff were the best ! They made our night very special and memorable. We will definitely be coming back in the future !
As usual, food was great, and service was great. Our favorite place!
Service is outstanding. You are always greeted by Rey! The servers remember you and treat you like family. Food is delicious and always huge portions. Love flaming the bananas foster
Great place, wonderful menu great meat options with fantastic taste. The desserts you must to try.
You cannot find better service .
This has become my favorite restaurant in the Raleigh/Cary area. The service was excellent and so was the food. The decor and ambiance is so nice too!
This was my first time dining at Rey's. We made a reservation and had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. Service was very slow to start. Our waitress offered my husband a free soup due to the delay in drink/food being slow to arrive. We had the crab meat appetizer, lobster bisque soup, filet minion, lobster tails and lobster Mac n' cheese. The waitress was knowledgeable with wine pairings and if she was not familiar with the menu questions she'd go and find out. The atmosphere was nothing exciting. We were seated in a smaller side dining room in a corner. The main dining room and Vodoo lounge were nicer looking but dated decor. Neither modern or traditional. Overall it was good, but for the price I'd rather go to Ruth Chris, Capitol Grille or Mateo's. They've been more consistent and have an updated or classic atmosphere, nice restrooms and attentive service.
Great atmosphere, wonderful wait staff, great food! Will definitely be coming here again.
Best steakhouse in the triangle. Great food and first class service.
Truly amazing restaurant in every way. Very nice ambiance, attentive and knowledgeable waiters, delectable food. The menu is as so tempting that we ate much too much!!
Fantastic service and food!
I enjoyed the meal. The service was excellent. Some of the food was a little pricey but it was also good. All entrees were a la carta so plan on paying extra for the green beans.
Our waiter seemed to be having a rough night but we tried to put that behind us since we were out enjoying a birthday celebration. We had been recommended this place by several friends but I have to say we were a little disappointed by the end of the night. Everything seemed like it had to be repeated to our waiter twice as far as ordering drinks throughout our meal. My steak was okay, could have used more seasoning as there was little to no flavor. Husband ordered Oscar style for his steak and there was no hollandaise sauce and his steak was in a puddle of water. Waiter never asked how anything was. Asked for all items to be boxed up, he only returned with our meats, said our sides got thrown away but he made us a new box. Overall okay experience, maybe would try again.
Great food, congenial staff, excellent wine list. Rey's is always a five star experience!
My wife and I had a really wonderful time. The folks there really made us feel welcome, and were very polite. The food was cooked to perfection. However, our cocktails were not done very well. But, that was the only real hiccup. The owner, Rey, came by and spoke with us and he even prepared our dessert, Cherries Jubille at table side - delicious! We will definitely visit again.
My husband and I dined at Rey’s for our anniversary celebration and it was a great choice. We’ve eaten at Rey’s before with friends and as has always been our experience previously, this time was no exception regarding the attention you receive from the wait staff as well as Rey himself. The food was delicious and I’m already looking forward to going back for another one of those delectable flourless chocolate cakes! Also excited about the addition of the patio - just in time for summer!
Rey's is my favorite restaurant. It is our go to place for special occasions. Food is great. Service is great, very attentive. I love that we almost always see Rey there. Great place!
This is a steak house so the best dishes are the beef options and they have consistency preparing these to perfection. We come a lot so we venture outside the beef options and we have been disappointed with the pork chops and the veal dishes. Side dishes and desserts are amazing too.
Great food and outstanding service. I may have a new favorite steak house.
They went over and above to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The food was excellent.
Always a lovely experience here for a special occasion
Good food and service. Not expensive. Could use a little "dusting."
Rey's is consistently very good. Service, ambiance quality of food, presentation, wine list and overall experience very nice. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and business associates.
We had a lovely date night at Rey’s!
What an experience. I would highly recommend this place. Perhaps even over the Angus Barn.
We always love going to Reys and tonight was not exception! The food is consistently excellent and the service is consistently great! I highly recommend this restaurant.
GREAT FOOD, DRINKS AND PRICES! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND FOOD
Great service and food. Bananas foster topped off a great evening with friends!
Rey's is our favorite restaurant for those times when you want to commemorate something important. The food, service, and atmosphere is best.
This place is an outstanding fine dining experience with lots of character.
Great place! Excellent server named Kevin took wonderful care of us. On top of that the manager walks around and asks the tables if they had a good time at the restaurant. All round great experience and great food as well. Thumbs up 👍 to anyone thinking of eating there.
The location was great. The staff was very helpful and professional. The ambiance was excellent next to the fireplace.
And the entrees were very good.
But it is $$. Well worth it.
Our waitress was very professional and attentive. The wine was outstanding. When I asked about a private room for a future event the event planner came to our table to answer my questions. Very pleased with all the food.
Good food as always
Good food and good service...Michael was great in taking care of us.
We have visited Rey’s a number of times and always enjoy it! This was my husband ‘s Birthday celebration and it was excellent!! Jim, our server, was fantastic and Rey’s attention to detail and being ever present in the dining room adds a special touch!!! We’ll be back! We’ve missed it!!
Our server, Carolyn, was excellent providing accurate information with a smile. The owner Rey also stopped by to greet us and thank us for our patronage. Would definitely return.
Great place for a special occasion, went there for birthday. Atmosphere was great and service was over the top. Made the evening very special. Great drinks and great food.
This was our first visit to Rey's and we had a phenomenal evening. The atmosphere was very inviting and intimate. The food and service was excellent. Not somewhere we can afford often, but we will definitely go back occasionally.
My husband and I went to Rey's for the first time after relocating to the Triangle about 18 months ago. We can't believe we've waited so long to try it!
We absolutely loved the old-school atmosphere and the amazing menu. We first got a drink at the bar and had awesome cocktails. From there we were seating and our server was just delightful. All of the food was excellent and we were particularly impressed with the beef carpaccio appetizer.
Rey, the owner, makes rounds to talk to every table and even jumps in to help out when needed. I saw him bussing plates, making cherries jubilee for guests, and he was greeting folks all night. This is a guy who knows how to run a restaurant and isn't too proud to do the "dirty work" himself.
We will definitely be back for more!
Ended up sitting at the bar instead of getting a table. Bar was lively at 6:30. Had an awesome wedge salad scallop appetizer and the fried oyster appetizer... both were phenomenal. Will go back!
