Great meal and cherries jubilee was great! The desert topped the meal off
Father’s Day and Wife’s Birthday
Rey's has been our favorite place since it opened! The food, the staff, and the ambiance is always great! The food never disappoints and the staff always makes me feel at home. We always look forward to our next visit!
Excellent service, great food and a lot of options.
As always. Fantastic.
Visited Rey's for the first time and absolutely loved it. Classic steakhouse atmosphere with really nice decor. The French Quarter twist is really lovely. The staff were friendly from door to door, and our server was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Food was fantastic. Definitely our new place for special occasions.
Amazing as always! Rey's is the best restaurant in the triangle.
We visit about once a month. Wonderful place for any occasion, date night or family dinner.
We had an excellent waiter, Jim. He was attentive, friendly and helpful.
My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Rey’s and loved it! Our waitress (Indira) was very professional, the food was first rate and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously! We recommend Rey’s highly!!
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Had some issue with the bill being incorrect at the end, but otherwise a great experience
We had good food with great service. We ill be back.
Everything about Rey's is great, but the quality of the wait staff really stands out. They are all true professionals and their outstanding service adds immeasurably to the quality of the dining experience. Keep up the great work, Mr. Rey.
Food was excellent and the service very goods usual. We have been there many times and will certainly return for many occasions.
We are regular customers of Rey's, but it also happened to be restaurant week, so we took advantage of the special priced menu. (Why not, it was a steal). Everything was prepared perfectly, as usual, and FIlet's have to be the best of anywhere. It was busy, even early in the evening, so if you are planning on visiting Rey's it may be a good idea to make reservations.
nice friendly waiter, will definitely go back with the rest of the family
Rey's never fails to impress. Great service and great food.
Great service- Girls Night out
I feel like a review of a nice meal should be all about the food and the drinks... but in this case the server really made the night.
Don't get me wrong, the food was good. Not great, but good. The service was great though.
The meal was paced well, the couple of mistakes along the way were corrected with apologies, we got recommendations and attentive service.
We went for my wife's birthday - they greeted us with a card and a happy birthday.
For food, we started with crab cakes, which were good enough but underwhelming. Then I had a caesar salad and my wife had the shrimp and lobster bisque. They were both decent, but neither of us were blown away.
On to the mains: I had the ribeye, my wife had the lamb. Again, no complaints - we just weren't dying to eat every bite. The meat was cooked well, had pretty good seasoning, and was presented well. For sides we got garlic mashed and creamed corn. Creamed corn was better.
What birthday meal would be complete without dessert? So we ordered the creme brûlée (wife) and bread pudding (me). They delivered the brûlée and a cheesecake. Fixed it right away, and I got the bread pudding. She definitely won the dessert round.
Overall, an okay experience that was buoyed by a good service experience. I'd leave it at "good, not great."
We always take a group of friends during restaurant week to Rey’s and everyone always has a memorable meal and experience.
The food and service was amazing!!!! I would love to go again soon!
We made a reservation for our anniversary dinner. We were seated by the kitchen next to a table with five kids, while plenty of other table options were available. Our salads arrived without dressing and the food was good but not great.
This was my first time at Rey’s. A family friend recommended Rey’s for special occasions.
My family enjoyed our celebration dinner. Our waiter Persel was outstanding. The food and service was outstanding. We will be returning.
Greeted professionaly and quickly seated. Nice comfortable sized booth with soft lighting. Filet was the best I've eaten and the chocolate tart was AMAZING! Our server was on top of her game with timely refills on drinks and each next course. Rey came around and greeted us and prepared a flambeau dish at the next table. All around outstanding meal.
Birthday Very professional. Attentive. Very enjoyable
Rey’s has the best steaks in the area! Service is always professional and friendly.
Service and food were excellent. We will certainly be back.
Atmosphere was relaxing and noise level was low. We ordered filet mignon with mushrooms and green beans with almonds. The meat was prepared as requested. I had a bleu cheese sauce on my filet and it was very good. The side dishes were uninspiring. They lacked seasoning and flavor. I would suggest sauteing the mushrooms in sherry or marsala. The overall experience is on par with ruth chris or Sullivans Steak House.
A wonderful way to celebrate my birthday with a romantic dinner with my spouse.
My first time here and it was 5 stars. An exceptionally well-presented menu of expertly designed and presented appetizers and entrees from fish to steak and chicken. The pan seared scallops, oysters and crabcakes are a must to start things off. Steaks are perfectly cooked and made over the top with some lobster. Fine wine selection - we had nice reds from Cakebread. Dessert was a must and everything was just delicious. The staff is great. Warm, welcoming and attentive (but not overly so as many restaurants suffer from). Going to Cary, NC? Make time (and room) for Rey's!
The place was awesome. Our food was delicious. The best stuffed flounder we ever had.Frankie was awesome.Very attentive. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant.
Rey's had excellent food and impeccable service. If I had to critique, I would say that I wanted more of a New Orleans flair by having a few more tranditional New Orleans dishes on the menu. Otherwise, it was outstanding.
Thanks to Rey and his staff. We can always count on a great meal at Rey’s and he is a great host for any occasion.
We had a very wonderful time and service was great. We were celebrating our 44th Anniversary!!!!
Wonderful food and service with old world charm! Both land and sea choices are wonderful and you must try the bananas foster!
Fantastic as usual! Filet mignon and Bananas Foster perfect combo.
Great food and service. Pricey but it’s worth it. Our first time at the restaurant but we will certainly return
