Excellent meal, responsive service and nice atmosphere.
We sat outside, ordered the special NY strip with lobster and lemon caper sauce and cherries jubilee for dessert, and it was perfect!
I took my wife there for her birthday. The wait staff was very friendly and cordial and made sure my wife's birthday was recognized. The food was very good and I would recommend Rey's to anyone.
The staff were wonderful- very accommodating. The spinach salad was good, but not great. Three of us had very tasty steaks. My husband did not like his tuna. Desserts were outstanding. We’ll definitely come back. It was very pleasant and a pretty restaurant. We liked that it wasn’t noisy.
We can always count on good quality food cooked to perfection. Best bar in the area.
Phenomenal! One of the best restaurants in the area. Excellent food and excellent service. Well worth every penny.
It was my mother's birthday. She is hard of hearing but wore her hearing aids. I instructed the waiter twice nicely that he needed to speak up and face her when talking to her. He did the exact opposite. He was nice and mostly efficient. The food was excellent. I will go back. I guess not everyone qualifies for a beautifully designed birthday plate as shown online in many photos.
Awesome food, excellent wait staff that are unobtrusively attentive, comfortable dining room with good spacing between tables. Have been there several times with the same results, and will definitely return.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!
Been going here for the last 14 years and it never disappoints.
Normally, Rey’s is our “go to” place for a great steak. For an early afternoon Moghers Day meal, we decided on Rey’s. The meal was just ok. The steaks , a 10oz filet and a 16oz bone in steak, were not up to the normal standards. I guess that due to the large number of diners, the steaks may have been pre cooked and set aside. As usual, the dessert was crazy good.
With the exception of the crab cake starter (which was excellent), ALL of the food was lukewarm , almost room temperature. Filet mignon, chops, green beans, garlic mash, everything. We were one of the first tables to sit down on Mother’s Day so I don’t understand why we had “almost cold” food. Very disappointing.
Mother’s Day. Was great. Only improvement would be to offer a few special brunch items.
From beginning to end our meal was delightful. We started with specialty martinis. We liked all of them - the grape one was sweet - tasty but unexpected. I highly recommend several appetizers - the shrimp, scallops, seared tuna and crab cakes. Our group ordered steaks and fish. All dishes on point. The lobster mac and cheese was a special side - YUM! The garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were also good. We finished with cherries jubilee and bananas foster prepared table side. We enjoyed both but the banana foster is my favorite. The night we went the restaurant was packed but our service was still outstanding. We were celebrating my sons graduation and spent over two hours eating. We never felt rushed and we never felt overlooked. Some might think this place is pricey but it is worth every penny.
Absolutely the best service in the triangle. When we arrived at 6:00 for 6:00 reservation, we were taken directly to our table with no wait. The food was just as good as the service.
Great atmosphere and meal, everything was top shelf, great food, drinks and service.
Always an incredible experience!
Great attentive service by everyone, food was very good. Didn’t give higher since NY Strip was a little tough with gristle, and garlic mashed were lame. Very tasty but mashed preferred more lumpy. Dessert of creme brûlée and bread pudding excellent.
The food is always exceptional at Rey's...you come to expect it. However, we shared a shrimp cocktail and crab cocktail appetizer before our meals and both were succulent and delicious! I can't wait to go back.
We hadn't been to Rey's in a long time and went with friends about a month ago. It was fantastic. We went again a few days later for my husband's birthday and it was very disappointing (but saved by the manager). So, we gave it another shot Saturday night. It didn't start out too well, but if it wasn't for the high level of service provided by the manager (again) we may not have had such a great experience. He was terrific and so was our waitress. We will be back. Thank you for your intervention and hospitality! It was a special occasion and it ended up being a very nice celebration.
Noise was too loud to feel like you were in fine dining.
First and final visit to this restaurant! Stuffed flounder was unpleasant. The flounder was so over grilled and thinly cut that it was just a bunch of crunch. That crab filling was way overly seasoned as to be inedible. The creamed corn tasted as though it came directly out of a can. Brought guests here and was embarrassed. There are many better places in the Triangle.
The outdoor venue is a delight!
Always a special evening at Reys. Excellent service and outstanding food. Enjoyed dinner on the outdoor patio which has a more relaxed atmosphere than the main dining room. Already looking forward to our next visit!
Not busy. Food and service were excellent. Will go again.
The food was very delicious. The owner and staff were very attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary. Rey, the owner made our banana’s fosters. We live out of town and plan to return when in the area again.
We enjoyed dinner in Rey's court yard under the stars....really nice. Later in the evening we enjoyed an after dinner drink on the comfy furniture with a personal fireplace. A great time as usual.
Rey’s was amazing all around. Everyone from the first person to greet you(valet), to the hostess, bartender and all the wait staff , including Rey are there to make your dining experience spectacular. The staff is remarkable, food was exceptional!!! Five star rating
Rey's never disappoints. It's our go to spot when we want to treat ourselves.
We have been dining at Reys for many years. It is consistently excellent in every aspect & it is our favorite place to dine.
We had a great dinner there. We are “regulars” you might say and eat at Rey’s about once every month or so. The food is consistently great and the service is always attentive. It’s one of very few restaurants in the area where you can enjoy fine dining in a relatively quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Great food backed up by good service and attentive staff at all times.
Highly recommended steaks, grouper and tuna steaks with 3 shareable sides for 4 people.
Absolutely the best in the triangle. From wine to steak to truffles, this is the only true fine dining I've seen in the area.
Fantastic service and choice of food. Restaurant was bigger than I expected. Great place for all occasions!
Food was excellant as always. Service is impeccable. Rey's staff goes above and beyond to make your meal a dining experience.
Food and atmosphere were great, very enjoyable
Always a treat. Excellent food, superb service, nice ambiance.
As always, excellent service and delicious food..our favorite date night destination
